😠 I am not happy with my treatment. I had pain in my arm I was treated by Katherina. It seemed to be rushed treatment. I did not got much time to practice exercises she suggested. She gave me massage on area which was paining. Pain seemed to be better for good 2-3 hours. Then it came back badly. Nothi... People often mention massage, appointment, experience, great, pain,

I am not happy with my treatment. I had pain in my arm I was treated by Katherina. It seemed to be rushed treatment. I did not got much time to practice exercises she suggested. She gave me massage on area which was paining. Pain seemed to be better for good 2-3 hours. Then it came back badly. Nothing suggested by her helped. I consulted different physio clinic online. They suggested to rest and use hot pack. Pain negligible next day.

-Had a physiotherapy session everything was good however, the physiotherapist hand smelled like food: onion which was sooo unpleasant. Healthcare workers usually have the best kind of hygiene and fresh clean smell. Someone else wrote a negative review to the same physiotherapist I had. 3/5 ⭐️ - Changed the physiotherapist to Kate Hindley she was AMAZING. 5 star ⭐️ - Had a massage with Daisy and it was the most painful massage I’ve ever had in my entire life more like torture will, I told her so many times that it hurts she just kept going and won’t even bother! never again. 0/5⭐️

For a Business that claims to be "one of the leading physiotherapy practices in the UK", there is certainly space for improvement, especially with this specific Practice at St John Street, Deansgate. I had a terrible experience, just yesterday evening. I have been suffering a lot because of lower back pain, and yesterday morning I called Physio.co.uk hoping to find the same therapist that I used last week in Minshull Street (all positive about that experience). I spoke with a Rep who, maybe because not used to a foreign accent (shocking & very upsetting in such an international City that Manchester have become!), booked me for the day after. Basically, she understood Tuesday and not "today", or maybe she just made a silly mistake. And yet the worst part was the attitude & lack of compassion of the guy at the reception of St John: maybe Physio.co.uk should remind all employees that the customers who use their services, they are not just there for a treat & a relaxing massage, but also for real therapy. In my case a lot of pain, aggravated by the fact that I had to walk (somehow) to have a treatment that never took place. All I was asking, despite the mistake, was to be treated with more consideration & respect!! Too much to ask? Apparently so, therefore I will never use their services again: that's a fact and the end of a short, but horrible relationship.

Booked more than 10 days ahead because they didn't have availability earlier. Got a reminder the day before about the appointment, all good until here. 4 hours before the appointment I got called to cancel or reschedule with another week wait. I could have gone to 3 different physios in that time and probably feeling much better today if they would have been more honest and professional. So very disappointed before to even get to know them.

I attended an experience day for physiotherapy and sports massage. It was really enjoyable, interesting and left me enthusiastic to learn even more. Daisy was our trainer and her delivery was thorough, clear and enthusiastic. She made sure we could all see clearly what was being demonstrated and she gave good constructive feedback when it was our turn to practice. I also benefited from a sports massage, during a demonstration, which was a much appreciated bonus!

No improvement at all. I left after 3 sessions. Just temporary relieve after doing the recommended exercises. More pain when using the recommended insoles. Painkillers don’t do anything. Ice doesn’t do anything. Apparently, I got more pain one day because I walked too much? Please.

My first appt with Aanal Shah. She listened carefully to my issue with my back and put me through some stretches after manipulating the muscles. It made a difference straight away. I know clearly what the issue is and what I can do to improve. Thank you Aanal!

On Sunday, myself and other physio enthusiasts attended an experience day with Megan. She was as professional as she was friendly, confidently walking us through a range of popular techniques (including sport massage and assessing clients) so that we could use them in practice - which she also shadowed on to make sure everything was safe and correct. Megan is a great trainer and would love to come back to gain more experience. I would gladly recommend you to any friends and family in need of your services. Thank you again :)

I recently injured my back whilst I was working and it wasn’t improving so I went and seen Megan and she knew what she was talking about and very friendly and professional. My back feels significantly improved and I couldn’t recommended her more. Not just the massage but the aftercare in how to keep my back healthy.

I was due to attend an appointment on 22nd June at 11am, I live 30 minutes away from the clinic so I set off at 10am giving me an hour to make the appointment. Unfortunately as I got to where the m61 meets the m60 it was clear there had been an accident and there was a lot of traffic. I called them to make them aware that my sat nav was now saying I’d be slightly late for my appointment and I was told that it was okay and to just get there when I could. Traffic was moving very slowly until it came to a complete stop and it was clear they’d closed the motorway. My sat nav then said I’d arrive at 11:30 so I called again to explain the estimated time of arrival. I was told by the operator that she would cancel the appointment and I was advised to turn around when I could and to rebook the appointment. When I tried to rebook the appointment I was told that I wasn’t allowed to as a cancellation fee had to be paid first. I spoke with my insurance company and they stated they do not pay cancellation fees. I again spoke with Manchester Physio and was told that unless the fee was paid I wouldn’t be able to rebook. The thought process behind this doesn’t make sense - charging people for something that is out of their control the very first time an appointment is missed, I could understand if this had been multiple times. Taking away the ‘helping people get better’ aspect of their job and looking at it from a business perspective - it doesn’t make sense to miss out on regular appointment payments that the insurer has approved because of a cancellation fee, that neither party will pay. The stress of all this has caused my PPPD to become even worse, something I’d hoped that the appointments would help me manage. All because of something that was out of my control. I was promised that someone would come back to me this week but after chasing several times no one has. I’ve been promised a call back for two weeks now to discuss this but no one has come back to me, even after chasing. I’d avoid totally.

I struggled with sciatica pain for over 6 months and finally decided to attend some physio sessions. I saw Manchester Physio had a lot of great reviews so I went along and requested Spilios (again, after seeing some really great reviews for him). I was amazed by the results! He gave me some brilliant exercises and we discussed my goal - I wanted to be able to run pain-free again (which I thought would be impossible) but within a few weeks, I was back to running! I can't thank him enough for what he's done for me, and would HIGHLY recommend him and Manchester Physio

Came in with a soft tissue injury and I couldn’t run, after 6 sessions with Spilios I can run two 7k a week again! Very happy with the treatment, I have been given exercises and a lot of useful information to keep myself fit.

I’ve had a great experience being treated by Shannon O’Donnell for my shoulder problem. Shannon is amazing, really hands on and she has so much knowledge, I have been very impressed.

On Sunday, myself and 7 other physio enthusiasts attended an experience day with Lana. She was as professional as she was friendly, confidently walking us through a range of popular tools and techniques (including massage gun and cupping) so that we could use them in practice - which she also shadowed on to make sure everything was safe and correct. Thank you very much Lana (and Paul!), I would gladly recommend you to any friends and family in need of your services. Thank you again and all the best!

Great experience with physiotherapist, Shannon, at this branch. Super efficient, friendly and thorough - my shoulder injury improved rapidly with only two sessions needed. Would recommend :)

I've had great experiences here with two different physios - Shannon O'Donnell for rehab after elbow fractures and Spilios Kaloudis for massage treatment for muscular neck pain. Both were fantastic - very friendly, caring and down to earth, extremely professional and knowledgeable and worked with me to create a personalised programme that was achievable for me. I've seen great improvements after working with both of them. Reception staff have also always been great. Would highly recommend!

I had 5 lymphatic drainage massages (after liposuction) with Daisy. She was great, very nice and easy to talk to. She and also emailed me a list of things to do to speed up recovery. The massages were a bit painful, but talking to her really eases the process. She also showed me how to do them at home and that definitely helped with recovery.
