Great village pub with its own brewery on site. Food looked amazing although we did not eat. Booking I would imagine is essential if you did want to eat. Dog friendly, and a lovely garden area all well cared for would revisit.

Just visited for a quick pint and to see what it's like. We walked 30 minutes from our campsite to a nice place and had a nice pint each of there stout which was spot on and a reasonable price at £3.10 a pint. Inside we were welcomed and told dogs were welcome in the bar area and outside in the the beer 🍻 garden which has a large teepee in it. Clean and tidy. Hope to return for some food. Sadly not able to visit again to sample food but if in area would return.

Popped in as we were on holiday close by. And have to say the food was wonderful and I really like my real ale but couldn't choose so was given tasters to help me decide. Great service, food and hospitality well worth a visit.

First time eating here since new owners took over. Had a lovely roast dinner. Home made Yorkshire puddings! Delicious!

We really enjoy our visits here. The food may take a while when busy, but it's worth the wait, as its all fresh. Good selection on the menu, and the staff are pleasant and helpful. We have been going for years, and the quality has never dropped. Keep it up and looking forward to our next visit. Chris W

We came here for a meal last night, very tired after a long day on our boat. Lovely atmosphere, great food and very friendly and efficient service. An added bonus was that the beer was brewed on the premises and we tried their Golden Ale - really good. Highly recommended.

Had the best restaurant fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was fresh, moist and large, with a delicious batter! The price was reasonable as well. All our party thoroughly enjoyed their dishes as well. Recommended.

What a lovely local pub! Great new owners and smashing food. Always friendly and a welcoming atmosphere. Make sure you try their Sunday lunches .... they cannot be beaten! And the quizzes.... very entertaining! 🤣

This is a really nice place to have lunch and a drink. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by our friendly host. Menu choice was very good and included a good range of vegetarian options. The Idle Brewery made IPA was perfect!

Myself and partner did a trial run of a cycle route for our local club and stumbled upon this place. Was so good we decided to include it on our club run today. Eight hungry thirsty cyclists were well watered ( especially with their Idle Brewery beer) and fed extremely well. The sandwiches were popular amongst the group and with all the sides they came with they certainly replaced the burnt off calories. Beer lovely, food good, service friendly and polite and reasonably priced. Great beer garden. Everyone enjoyed the visit. Many thanks on behalf of Tickhill Velo 🙂

Lovely little pub with friendly staff and locals. Decent priced food with decent portions. Has a pool table and nice relaxed beer garden and only 5 minuets scenic walk from the marina

Good food at reasonable prices. Excellent beer from the brewery next door. Very friendly and efficient service from the family who own this place. Highly recommended.

Received a friendly welcome, very helpful staff. Good quality food, took a little while to come out but there were 9 of us. The homemade ice cream is something else, would come just for a cone if we were passing. Would definitely return, everyone said they enjoyed their meals.

Just visited for my daughter's 18th birthday meal with family who live local. Couldn't be more welcoming, a few hiccups with food but it was a large group so easily forgiven. Had a lovely time.

Well above average pub, fab staff and great selection of beers. Lunchtime menu good and food was faultless, dog friendly too.

Lovely atmosphere, great food and very kind and courteous staff. Could have eaten some more bread with my meatboard but it was delicious. I'll definitely go again

We have been to the Whitehart for many years and always been more than happy with everything. However tonight we were extremely disappointed. The staff who were working were very friendly and pleasant no complaints about them at all We ordered food and were presented with a plate of food which did not match the menu description. I questioned this and the waitress said she’d check. We got no further response. On leaving we could see that other diners had been given the same meal with the missing items missed off our meals There was some confusion when we came to pay as they had charged the larger steak not the small one we had ordered The previous proprietors would have been much more on the ball (not playing pool) and made sure at the start of the meal we had what we ordered Sadly I have to say I was very unimpressed and would think very carefully before going there for a meal again I would hesitate to recommend it to my friends

Lucky enough to dine in at the White Hart 28/05/2022 and was a most pleasant experience. Warm an inviting the staff was welcoming and very friendly. The local beer was very flavorful and the scampi was simply to die for. Tasted so fresh and was swiftly delivered to my chosen table. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who is in the area for the service, food and beer is first class and I look forward to visiting again in the very near future.

Called in today after it was recommended to us and glad we did. Friendly and attentive staff and the food was fab. I had the mixed grill and my wife had the lasagne which she said was delicious and all was cooked perfectly with no frozen chips in sight 😋

Very friendly team, good food, reasonably priced, generous portions. Tasty beers from the local brewery on site. What's not to like. Open on Mondays for food which we have found difficult to get. Dog friendly so next time we can visit with them as well.
