Great Italian cafe! We only did coffee today but I've eaten here before and the food is delicious. The sharing platters are fantastic. I was gutted I'd only just eaten as the starter on the specials board today sounded amazing 😋

Great coffee and tasty pastries. Unfortunately we could only take away as they don't allow dogs. Would be a 5 start review if they did. Still. If they allowed dogs I wouldn't have had the chance to meet the two guys who ride in on horses for their morning coffee.

The food is scrumptious and authentic and the hot chocolate is a real hot chocolate of melted chocolate which is to die for! But the best thing about the place is the family vibe and friendly staff and owners. Just an amazing place.

Hidden gem in Poynton. Lovely surroundings. Nice tables outside too. Completely authentic. Delicious food. Friendly service. Nothing to fault. Would recommend the vegetarian breakfast and cappuccino. Want to go back to try out the fruit bread!

Friendly staff, amazing menu. Not sure I made the best choice with the bresola salad, it was a little bland, but the coffee and cakes are delicious. Serves me right for trying to be healthy, will try something with a bit more flavour & naughtiness next time.

One of the best breakfasts we've ever had! Really flavoursome with plenty of herbs. The staff were really friendly, dressed smart and the place was really clean. A proper gem just around the corner off the busy high street. Authentic Italian feel.

Visited yesterday for the first time ( Friends who live in this area took us out) Small place full of character.. Love the service and great Italian humour.. As I’m from Croatia (near Italy) I love that mentality&hospitality. The food was great. Our friends had veg platter for two and my husband and I had pizzas. Mine was pizzeta contadina with green pesto, pine nuts, artichoke and goat cheese ,The pesto was obviously home made and the dough is also done in the house ( I make my own pizzas at home and you can taste the difference) What was my best experience of the day? COFFEE.. The coffee was absolute perfection!! .. the gentlemen who did the coffee was real Italian barista who prepare his coffees with pride, patience, knowledge and precision! We live in Lancashire but will definitely come back here.. It’s worth the drive!! 👍👍👍

What a charming little place. This cafe / restaurant is tucked away on the end of a few shops just round the corner from the shops of Poynton. It is always busy so would definitely recommend booking even if it's just for 2 people definitely ring to book a table. I would say it fits about 20-30 people in, tables and chairs are close together and you can hear everyone chatting away and the Staff have a chat with you too making sure you have what you need etc. It can be loud with everyone talking, the kitchen and staff going backwards and forwards but it adds to the character of the place. Take out and dine in available. There is a variety of breakfasts, lunches and cakes on offer and the drinks are quite varied too. They offer vegan and vegetarian options for those who need it. Prices are quite expensive but everything is cooked from scratch and the food tastes fresh and warm. No parking outside apart from the Waitrose and housing estate round the corner. Toilets inside. Tight squeeze for wheelchair and pushchair so maybe ring them if you go with one of them.

The vegan breakfast is great with no meat substitutes and amazing flavours, however, there aren't many other options to have as a vegan across the whole menu. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, and will try their best to get you a table. It would be nice if the biscuit that comes with the hot drinks was biscoff or another vegan biscuit, especially when ordering a drink with oat milk and a vegan meal. Atmosphere has always been quite loud when visiting due to the popularity of this cafe.

Wonderful atmosphere and welcoming staff. Authentic Italian cafe, good value for money, comfortable setting. Especially enjoyed the breakfast panini and raspberry croissant. Drinks are reasonably priced. We visited on a sunny Sunday so understandably they were very busy, therefore a little less attentive than I imagine they are usually but very friendly and polite. They still took a reservation for us but it was only for indoors because they don't deserve the tables outside which is a shame. Inside is still lovely, with comfy cushions & clean bathroom. I got the frittata of the day which was a little bit disappointing because it was a lot of the same taste of egg - couldn't taste the parmesan or wild mushrooms. It comes with a side salad - the salad dressings of pesto & balsamic helped jazz up the frittata taste but there wasn't enough of it. I could have asked and I'm sure they would have brought me some more pesto, but defo think the frittata could do with a dipping bowl of pesto and a slice of toasted sourdough, rather than the salad. Will be keen to return and try the pizza & pasta next time, thank you!

Always fantastic food and a warm relaxing atmosphere. The coffee is fantastic and love that they do lemon meringue pie. A great place to meet friends for lunch.

Fabulous as always. I had the tuna salad which included yummy artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes. Friendly, attentive staff. Good coffee.

Lovely lunch in our local family run Italian cafe. Had orecchiette with squid in tomato sauce, a lovely coffee and a beer l. My mate is celiac and the lovely staff substituted the pasta for GF. Service was warm and efficient. Perfect 🤩

Superb spot of brunch here. We chanced upon this place while passing through Poynton, and had a seriously good vegan breakfast with an impressive array of flavours, including delicious fava beans and crispy fried polenta. A warm welcome and clearly a very popular place!

Very nice little cafe. Coffee was delicious. We had a slice of the millionaire's cheesecake which was to die for 🤤 Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be trying more off the food menu on our next visit!

Really bustling Italian cafe. Very popular. Great place for brunch. Food was lovely. Staff very friendly and working at full pelt. Has a few outside seats as well. Can see why it's a favourite if you live close by.
