This is one of Lancaster's well known places of worship. It is one well worth looking at in all of its splendor and majesty. However as I write this review you can't visit the Cathedral as it is fenced off to the public as it is going through repair work.

As ever a beautiful well maintained building. Take cushions for a concert, pews wooden and hard.

Not the most beautiful, inside or outside, that I have visited. Yes, it was peaceful, but all religious buildings are. A steep hill to get to it, not for the faint hearted.

Great Cathedral. Had St Bernadette's Relics , stayed for mass with anointing and blessing of the sick and finished with benediction. Was lovely to see so many attend, shame they don't go every week.
