Loved this place. He stayed here several times and enjoyed it, I can understand why. Spacious living room, lots of windows, balcony access, what's not to love. There aren't any original items here (except for the lock of his hair) but the collection shows what it was probably like when he was around. I came in the morning, there were several children's groups, maybe come in the afternoon to avoid those. Or wait them out in the listening room - they are not permanent, they will do their thing and move on. Though I wish I understood German to listen in to what the teachers tell the children here.

I was so happy and excited to visit the house and to see where did the magic happen and OMG!! I just felt like a little kid that just received new toys the place was a rented it wasn’t his house and he had to go there to relax since he was sick (doctor’s orders) but he didn’t relax he started creating symphony number 9 😍😍😍 my goodness you guys this is crazy you guys have to visit I won’t ruin the surprise that awaits you in this beautiful place!!

A small museum dedicated to Beethoven's stays in Baden and the 9th symphony. There aren't many objects related to Beethoven but get interesting information about his health, friends and so on. Audio records are an important part of the exhibition, unfortunately not all stands with headsets work.

Small. Cozy. Interesting. Bought a Beethoven rubber ducky for 13€. It was expensive but after seeing a Beethoven rubber ducky elsewhere for 5€ glad we got the 13€ from here because the quality is beyond compare.

Very nice place. In the heart of Baden, with many shops all around. It's a very good point to stop and take a good rest. In the subways you can find nice things, good clothes, and interesting shops with very good prices.

Near the center of the city and close also to team terminal station that goes to Vienna. 1h from Vienna by Baden tram line.

We were fully amazed by Beethoven haus Baden. You can see in the photo, the chamber of Beethoven has a closet of 7 drawers. Beethoven put his clothes for everyday for a week, meaning he took a set from each drawer everyday! Very organised lifestyle for a great composer 😊

Really a neat piece of history. Not a tremendous amount to see, but is a simple and inexpensive tour. If you are a music lover, plan to spend time sitting and listening to Beethoven's work on the many headphones available. The gift shop also has some cool and unique items.

Absolutely great! You have to visit it if you have the opportunity and you are near the city Baden near Vienna. One room you hear and can see a film with a great orchestra and choir of Beethoven's famous and well known 9th symphony with so many details - Amazing!

It was fine, but parking is a major problem. We parked a couple hundred metres away as my elderly mother couldn't walk far. We were fined €36 for not displaying a parking ticket even though there were no indication that it is not a free parking area, no information board nor a visible pay point. The Baden bei Wien municipality assumes that you should just know things without them communicating effectively.
