Let me start my review with saying “Not as good as expected, definetely not no.1 for me in Austria” . Course layout is nothing special, few nice holes, like 17 and 18. Maintenance was very good, would say perfect, but. Course is next quite busy roads. Now there are new holes construction ongoing so many GUR and also movement of cars, so charging 140 Eur is a bit out of mind. Ok we got free towel and birdie book, but there is not much info in it. Restaurant was bit slow even it was not full. I would definetely not come soon for such a value I know where to spend my money in Austria. Once again this is my personal opinion, however I been traveling around golfcourses and can compare.

Nice ambiance, friendly service and quality food in a relaxed atmosphere

Very nice location

Unfortunately not up to standards of years past, primarily due to an extensive remodeling of the course and its surroundings. I'm certain it is temporary, as it used to be a magnificent golfing experience.

Golf & Tennis Club Fontana

Great course with exciting water hazards, very well kept. Just a bit expensive..

The golf course is generally good, but an old marshal is very unfriendly. He was so annoying that I couldn't concentrate on the game.

Course is well maintained (still a bit dry for an end of a very rainy month of April), but layout very simple and standard/boring expect several holes. Not much strategy needed especially for the tee-shot. Fairways very wide, rough quite short, making it really not challenging at all to play, even though the course is very long (played from white) it is still “easy” to manage GIR. I therefore would not consider this course as one of the best in Austria. Layout and challenge is for me slightly more important than near-to-perfect greenkeeping. Restaurant has good food and menu, quality is there. However, the service is extremely slow! PS: Area generally quite windy after 12:00. Better have an early tee-time if you don’t like taking wind into account.

Beautiful venue with stunning views, perfect for special events like weddings. Attentive staff and delicious food. Highly recommended
