Beautiful vista. Loved it. Also the surrounding trails are beautiful

There are 2 ways to get there: a regular road which is suitable for gentle relaxation purpose, and the other is to climbing the stairs (entry can be found right after you passed the restaurant at Brühlerstraße 48) the walk is not too extreme, but is definitely some exercise, and not recommended when the weather is wet. But the view is really rewarding. Really enjoyable.

Great view of Mödling and even parts of Vienna. The tower itself is not medieval, and cannot be visited inside. This is also a good starting point for an easy hike through the beautiful pine forrest around.

Extraordinary different nature, almost Mediterranean with rocks and pine trees. And you can see most of sightseeing in an hour of walking. If you take the easy path it is also great for children. I highly recommend it.

wonderful views, an incredible view of Vienna. but nothing else, private territory

Nice place to visit. Beautiful hiking ways. We enjoyed walking in winter, wenn sun was shining very bright. And it is not so far from Vienna. In half an hour you can reach the place. We recommend to visit it everyone.

Great place with the stunning views.

What an amazing area! You would think it was in the hills of Italy not next to Vienna. A really lovely area with bare rock and pine trees, crickets and grasshoppers were jumping and flying all over the place when I visited in early September and butterflies too. Really lots of lovely views and fun to scramble up the rocks off the main path. Quite easy to reach the other ruin sites on the hill with paths although the sign posts are often not where you need them. The actual turm is private so you can't go in but the area is definitely worth a visit. A nice break from the noise of the city.
