Davide was a consummate tour guide of Mount Etna from Taormina. He was a skilled driver and I felt safe with him behind the wheel. There were 7 of us in our tour: two 73 year olds, one 72 year old, two 30 year olds, one 20 year old and one 6 year old. Davide didn’t hover over us but he always made sure that all of us were able to handle the challenging trails. He had so much information that he made digestible by showing illustrations from a book that made his descriptions more understandable. I appreciated his sharing historical and information about Mt Etna and cultural information about local industries and pastimes and the nature around us in different seasons. We had a private tour with Davide who picked us up in Catania in a big, clean and comfortable car and was so friendly and engaging from the minute we jumped in.
