The short the staff and the food was great. We tried Palermo speciality panini di panello. As I don't eat animal fat, so we asked to make piadina of panello. The guy Giovanni was very friendly and he made a great piadina with panello. Highly recommend to try. Also on the plus side it was very economical.

Authentic and fresh street food for authentic local prices. Not a tourist place. Food is delicious and the service is fast so don’t be scared if there is a queue. Be brave and try the local hit, pani câ meusa, you won’t regret! It’s absolutely delicious, no wonder it’s so popular here! Do not let the ingredients (spleen) scare you off before trying. It goes well with a bottle of cold Moretti beer! If you’re less brave or vegan, here you can get the freshest panelle, aka chickpea fritters in a sandwich or by themselves. Arancino (fried rice ball with ragout inside) is also top! Will definitely go back to this place!

Like others, I was very hesitant about eating spleen, but the mafalda con milza was absolutely delicious! So rich in flavor, it tastes like you're eating very tender slices of beef. The bread is fluffy and fresh too. 4 euros and its a big serving. The staff was a little short with me, hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but I still recommend this place.

I saw a lot of locals stopping here and it's away from tourist attractions so I decided to give them a try. My girlfriend doesn't eat meat so she had the fried fish, salad and two orders of pizza bread. She said the fish was good and it wasn't oily even though it wasn't fried, she also loved the pizza bread. I asked one of the staff members for a recommendation and he said to have the Panino con Milza. At first i was a bit hesitant but I figured I'd give it a try. Boy was I satisfied, probably the best thing I have eaten in my whole Italy trip I even went for a second one. You also get locals prices and not the tourist tax. Overall ended up spending 14 euro with 3 beers, best deal I've had all trip. Definitely recommend this place 👍👍

The pani ca meusa is fantastic, if you want to test that, this is the place to go. Its only 1.5 euros. The arancini however are very low quality, look elsewhere for that. Panelle are decent.
