Astarte apartment - Big apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well equiped kitchen and external terasse. We had a huge delay for the arrival, so Stefano had to wait for us until 2 am! When we had questions he always knew how to help us. Thanks again! Wifi is working very well. The only problem represent mosquitos. We solved it out with the repelent from Spar (100 m).

I stayed in Didone, Cielomare's one person apartment. On the top floor of an old building in Trapani's historic centre I had a superb view of the sea and sunrise over Erice, and access to a terrace decorated with flowers and herbs. I had unlimited hot water and free bottles of drinking water, and there was a very good bakery and food shops round the corner. I could swim and sumbathe on the beach two minutes away. The very helpful owner, Enzo, showed me his other seaview apartments for three or four people in the same building and these looked delightful. I couldn't recommend this apartment more highly.

Alessandra was so helpful arranging our holiday with us. The apartment had the most stunning view of the bay, was clean, a great size and the bed was so comfortable. I couldn’t recommend Cielomare enough, the location is fabulous for getting into the town centre for amazing food and culture. Loved it 😍

Nice place, bad host, no service. We were a group of 4 guys staying in one of the apartments at this place for one week. There were several problems during our stay, and even though the balcony is beautifull I am writing this to warm others before booking here. Problem 1: The door We arrived late at night and couldnt get the door to open. After a while we figured we had the wrong key and called Alessandria (the «mafia-boss» who runs the place) for help. She was hesitant about there being a problem but came to give us the right key. We managed to open the door after more struggle, but now we had a new problem. It wouldnt lock. We texted Alessandria again and she said she would fix it the next day, Trapani is safe so just close the door, no problem. Next day Alessandria tells us the washing lady had no problem looking the door, so we are the problem, not the door. However, it still wont lock. After complaining a third time and asking her to come see for her self, she finally admits to the lock not working, but it was pretty clear from that point that she was blaming us for breaking it, even though it never worked and we told her straight away. She claimed that she had someone to come fix it during the week and something about locks not being in stock so it wouldnt be fixed during our stay bla bla bla. It would not surprise me that she tells the next customer «Our last guests broke it, it will be fixed soon, but is not possible during your stay». Problem 2: the room The room is ok, dont get me wrong, but there is still something to note here as well. First of all it was not ready for four people upon arrival. Alessandria blamed the washing lady and luckily she had an extra room that we could use for one night. The next day she told us we could rent both rooms for extra cost. We told her no, we only need the one we already booked and payed for. There was some problems with the bathroom, due to «previous guests» breaking it. No holder for the toilet Paper, no tip on the bide. Small inconveniences that could be fixed in an hour. Why it was never fixed during our stay, we have no idea. But it is not Alessandrias fault, it was the «previous guests». Shower was also totally clogged, but after trying to deal with Aleasandria for too many days, we dealt with the shower without trying to get her to fix it. Cleaning lady came by once during our stay, and we asked for extra sheets without getting it. We also got one roll of toilet paper for the whole week. Problem 3: The lies The third problem is what really put me over the edge that led me to writing this review. And that is the lies that Alessandria tried to pull on the day of departure. We had an accident that led to a table on the balcony breaking during our stay. We apoligized and were clear that paying for the table would be no problem. But when Alessandria claimed that she had gotten several complaints from other guests about us being loud, and asking for a fee of 350€ to fix the door it became clear that this is a woman of no shame. We had also talked to other guests during the stay who had similar problems as us. We calmly told her that we will not pay for the door because we didnt break it. She surprisingly accepted without arguing, which again was odd. Italy is great, Trapani is great, Alessandria needs to find another job.

I was a victim of a scam. Ms Alessandra charged me 50 euro above the price agreed on the booking service. When at payment I asked why, Ms Alessandra said it was a cleaning fee. Later on I checked and the cleaning fee was already included in the initial price. Ms Alessandra never agreed to refund it. She was claiming that computer booking system messed it up, and I should ask my 50 euro back from the system (which of course never responds to people) Although I was robbed of only 50 euro, it left a bad memory on my first in a lifetime stay in Sicily.

I really loved staying with Alessandra. It's the best location in Trapani. The apartment were restoured from the original fishermen houses.
