Very central place just by the fish market. The breakfast is served at a rooftop terrace with a amazing view. All staff is nice, polite, extremely helpful and speak English. They have a nice selection of rooms and cleaning is consistent. Closest free parking nearby is about 10 mins walk from there. Definitely recommended in Trapani.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Great location right next to the beach and many of the restaurants in the old city. Sizable rooms and bathrooms. Lovely roof to watch the sunset. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth the extra 20 euros per night for a seaside view room.

A lovely experience, price for value is totally worth it. The reception staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful with perfect recommendations for activities. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The terrace has a beautiful view and the breakfast had variety and was tasty. The only issues: parking is on the street (not hard to find but with ticket) and we could not see the sunset from the terrace (in October). Still I would 100% visit again.

TLDR surprised this is a four star hotel. Not up to par. Overall a fine experience with good location but lots of disappointments. Pros: - great location for accessing the historical centre (however it is very much a city hotel and we found the pictures a little deceiving - the arches are from the next door historic buildings for example) - reception / concierge were helpful enough and nice - main asset for the place is the roof terrace with great sunset views Cons: - both mornings room service entered our room without knocking, one of which was at 08.43am precisely on a Saturday morning (!) - bar was open only on one of the three days we were there, maybe due to lower season but still even on a Saturday! So could not order drinks or apéritivo on the roof terrace - bathroom / sink had a very strange smell, may be the plumbing in the area but it was not pleasant at all and we didn’t want to be in there! - few amenities available (eg no cutlery) in the kitchenette in the room - breakfast was not great and when we arrived much had run out Overall a decent place but for the price i think you could get better for a 4* place

This is a very nice hotel/ B&B place. Rooms are great with all the amenities you need to cook your own food even though we did not use it. Getting here was a bit hard because of one way narrow streets but once you get here it's great. The beach is just in front of you in case you want swim. The old part of town is just a minute walk with many churches, old buildings and chic restaurants. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Parking could be a problem, need to pay 1 Euro/HR during park hours. 8-13:30 and 15:30-20:00 (until 00:00 in summer) in the month may. You just feed the meter with change and get a ticket. Breakfast is great on the terrace with a wonderful view. Overall highly recommended.

I think the value for money is there. Gym could be better and the finish on the rooms lacks some finesse but overall it's top.

We were welcomed like family and upgraded to a sea view and a fabulous breakfast for both mornings. The staff helped us with parking and access to the gym. The location is ideal for access to restaurants and sites all over Trapani. The view from the rooftop is beautiful in the morning and the evening. Rosana is an angel!!

Really nice stay at la Gancia. Comfortable bedding and spacious rooms. The view is amazing from the bar on on the rooftop. Special thank to the bartender Giuseppe for his professionalism and delicious cocktails.

5 stars to the staff, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Location was also fabulous and the building itself is interesting. Marked down a star for the room which felt dark and crammed in, though am sure there are nicer rooms (maybe we were just unlucky). The rooftop is lovely and breakfast was good, we enjoyed the variety of jams and honey. It’s not a bad spot for exploring Trapani!

Excellent location, beautiful decor. Bed mattress is top quality. Upstairs on the rooftop bar is a great place to watch the sunset. Recommended.

Roomy, modern in an ancient building (it's a monastery from 1600), absolutely clean and beautiful. The staff is great! It also offers a panoramic terrace with solarium, a small steam bath and a gym.

The service is amazing - very impressed by how the receptionist took the time to give us an overview of the hotel, parking situation, nearby good restaurants and took us to our rooms personally. This place is a rare gem - well worth the price and the roo we stayed in was exceptionally spacious with thoughtful touches like fresh roses and bottled water in the fridge for the guests. They also provided us with vouchers for welcome drinks at their rooftop bar which I thought was quite nice. Definitely will recommend!
