This place has soooo much more potential than what it is offering. Gorgeous location, completely refurbished to a high standard yet it is somewhat lacking.. I didn’t like the irrelevant and cheap artwork in the otherwise beautiful large rooms, huge comfy bed and great views. The wine tasting was delayed, we were carted around the vineyards without a word on the history or anything about them, just a quiet silent driver who stopped to let us take a few pictures. The wine tasting started late. The sommelier was passionate and knowledgeable but the raw swordfish served with the wine as part of the tasting menu was so’s nelly it was embarrassing. And last but not least, whereas Eleonora at reception and Vincenzo at the restaurant were very friendly, the rest of the staff is slow, unfriendly and totally inadequate for the role. They really can do better than this, the place is a gem with huge potential to be amazing.

The location is magnificent with a restored old, rural part that has been transformed in a lovely restaurant. It was dark when we arrived and, therefore, we cannot properly comment on the new part of the resort dedicated to the accommodation. We had a nice meal, the dishes were well presented and with a great combination of fresh ingredients, mostly local. The staff was attentive and very keen to interact with us. The restaurant manager cleverly suggested a few glasses of wine (the resort is owned by a local wine maker) to be paired with our courses and the wine was fantastic. The place will be definitely worth a few more visits.

Wine tasting was basic and felt pricey. Just sat in a room, the sommelier talked to us a bit about the business and tastes the wines. No tour of anything, but it may be due to the weather, but it was never mentioned. I would expect though to see a warehouse or something. 1 hour and 10 minutes, for 4 tasting portions of wine. The sommelier was just ok, not much interaction, but this could just be because of the entire group of people we did the tasting with. On the website there is a range of wine tastings advertised (8 actually), however when you get in touch with them and they send you the options, there is just one option and all the rest are the same plus some appetizers or food. Personally I wouldn't recommend.

Despite some other comments I found the staff to be be friendly and helpful. The restaurant and wine tasting were excellent. Breakfast was good and rooms were very nice. My only criticism of the room was that the shower could do with a clean up around the joints. The food was great from both the tasting menu and the Al la carte. Altogether a very nice place.

This is a beautiful property. We really enjoyed our room and the wine tasting. Some of the staff were well experienced and lovely, others not so much.

Beautiful grounds informative and different wine tasting incredible food and exceptional service. However the rooms need some updating as the mattresses were set to twins pushed together matrimonial style. they had a plastic covers on them, and our air conditioner could not be set lower than 75°F. Even after maintenance came they said there was nothing that could be done so we felt the ac needed Freon and they should’ve offered us a different room. The room was large and there was a walk-in shower we were unable to sleep for two nights but instead enjoyed the beautiful pool and an idealic vineyard setting and dressing up for dinner at the restaurant with a meticulous maître d’ and wait staff and a perfect gastronomic experience. The one thing besides wine to make sure is to taste the estate made olive oil and take a bottle home.

Nice domain and lovely wines. We were there on a wine tasting. I would not recommend going for a full food menu as the value for money was not quite there (so pick the amusebouche option). Beware that the wine tasting is not dog friendly either (something we only discovered whilst we showed up - but after some discussions we were allowed to keep our dog with us who was super calm and slept the whole way through) I still found the experience and the wines/olive on the pricey and more commercial side of things for Europe (including higher end domains in France) rather than the experience you would have from an actual winemaker. Also wished we could go around the domain and be explained where the parcels were etc.

Modern facilities and a great overall wine and dining experience. In the beginning of the wine tour we were a bit lot as there was essentially no information on what and where will happen, but it turned out to be fun and tasty. Though of course not cheap it was overall fairly priced.

I came for the light lunch wine tasting. I had a great and full experience. The wine expert gave us not only an introduction to the company but also on how and where the wines are produced. Definitely recommend.

Superb in every way. Beautifully restored baglio, like a little compound. Rooms very spacious & comfortable w/ all the amenities. The restaurant is is stunning with the best food we have had maybe in all of Sicily. Owned by the Firriato wine group, you should arrange a tasting. Excellent native Sicilian varietals.

We had a wine tasting and lunch. The place and its surroundings are pretty pretty pretty! A guy in a golf cart train picked us up as soon as we arrived in the parking lot. We had a nice lunch in a chique restaurant, the golf cart drove us up above for some great views and afterwards we had a great wine tasting! Firriato had very good Sicilian wines and also the guy who let us taste was great!

Very silent place. If your holiday is based on the wine tasting experience in a high quality environment, this is right place for you. Large choice of wine, an excellent restaurant and cosy swimming pool are completing a picture. Very polite stuff.

Wonderful chic resort off the beaten path. Definitely need a rental car if staying here but is in close proximity to Trapani. Large pool and rooms are spacious.

Lovely setting to visit and enjoy a glass of wine. I highly recommend their tastings! I'd be interested in staying in their accommodation in the future too.

Great hotel in a beautiful area. Room is okay. Sounds of doves coming in all the time from the ceiling and bed is a bit hard but it was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic. Would come again.
