Such a special location tucked between mountains and a lovely lake. The food was amazing and I recommend a tasting of their incredible wines. A special gift of Sicily is this place

This is a five star winery . Deborah showed us around and explained, in detail, their production techniques without overloading it. Very clear and colloquial English. We finished with an amazing tasting of wines along with local foods and olive oil. All great. A bit out of the way but... Don't miss this one.

I love the Planeta wines and we come every year to try (and buy) their wines. The location of the winery is idyllic, without GPS maybe a bit more difficult to find. I can recommend the tasting with lunch, which is a nice way of spending the late morning and lunchtime.

If you are visiting Sicily & love wines you must visit Planeta Winery! Yesterday we had an amazing tasting experience with Genevra. Her hospitality & wonderful knowledge of all things Planeta made our visit that much more enjoyable. Our tasting was followed by a delicious lunch. Planeta has & always will be my favorite place to visit when I’m in Sicily.

A very special winery that’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area. Out of town, nestled amongst their vines, a small shop stocks their best wines and olive oils with the chance for a tasting if you book in advance. We came to look and ended up leaving with a dozen bottles of wine. The staff were super friendly and even gifted us a free bottle of wine to sit and enjoy while we chose what to buy.

Charming big producers of wine here in Sicily. Enjoyed our brief tour and sampled some good wines, especially the white. They produce all their Chardonnay wine at this location. Try the 2018, great year. The wines are young that we tasted but give 5+ years. Worth a visit. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend going. Would also suggest a driver, very generous pours might curtail your driving ability. From Sciacca, a private taxi was 140 euros round trip. And he waits for you. Cheers.

Great experience in a magic place, the vineyard itself is really scenic and cosy, very nicely refurbished. The tour was extremely interesting and the tourguide Erica was friendly and very well prepared. We enjoyed a yummy lunch and obviously excellent wine. Impressive also the attention to details in terms of environmentally friendly and sustainable set up of the company and tour itself!!! Definitely recommended

Beautiful place! We arrived at 6pm and even though the place was officially closed, the people working there were nice enough to host us for one glass of wine. It was a pleasant experience and the views so picturesque. Thank you! When you’re driving there and not in a 4x4, take the northern road as the road from south is super rocky and at times even precarious.
