Loved the beach with sport water activities, restaurants and WC. A lot of umbrellas and chairs. Catamarans, clear SUP and kayaks to rent. Spacefull and beautiful beach. I recommend it 👌

Don't be fooled by the name, it is nothing like Blackpool and there is mostly small pebbles as opposed to sand but this is a fantastic beach. Doesn't get massively busy. The water has a steep drop off about 15-20m out but the shallows are fine for kids

Nice wide beach with small pebbles. Water is clean and it’s pretty easy to go in. The beach can be accessed from both side, looking the sea, the one at the right is accessible from a stair with 300 steps. There are two parkings at each extremities (5€ and 4€). You can also find some parking on the dirt road to Cala Rossa. At the right of the beach (looking the sea) you may notice two WWII buckers from which they could fire at enemies debarking on the beach. The stair at the right is a private access from a villa above the cliff.

Worth the drive. Beautiful beach which we are surprised we have never visited before. Not sand, despite name. Actually fine shingle. Beach shelves very quickly. RNLI lifeguards on duty. Car park £6 a day, even if you arrive at 3.30pm, and is locked at 7pm.

I came here looking for sandy beach all I got was pebble beach, 2 cans of soft drinks at extortionate price of £5, daylight robbery worse than being in Mumbai. However it is nice and peaceful. I would visit again.

Free public beach, no sand just pebbles. Lots of locals and loud music, also jet skis. It’s nice for a dip and drinks but isn’t the most relaxing.

Great choice to avoid the crowded Tonnara beach which could be just visited for its UNESCO site. Pebble beach with services available.

We came across this as we headed for Scopello. Beautiful. Stopped and had a swim. I did find it a bit hard walking on the pebbles tho.

One of the best beaches in Castellammare, you have to pay for the parking and lido. My advice is not to go there on windy days or when there are waves because the rocks will collide at the bottom creating a white thing that makes it impossible to see the bottom and on a 3,000ft deep sea you don't want that.

Nice beach and awesome and delicious restaurants, the beach is a bit too rocky but with a pair of swimming sandals you should be fine, you should reserve before going to the restaurants or else you might have to wait to get a table.

Very nice beach, crystalline water and not too crowded. No jelly fish in the beach, to have a good place in a chair we paid unfortunately, I think It was 19 euros for 2 people whole day, but there is also cheaper options as 15 euros or just rent the umbrella for 5 euros.

Lovely beach covered with pebbles. If you look carefully you can find sand as well. The clear blue water is mesmerizing, but the cliffs surrounding the beach are pretty good too. There are several restaurants nearby when hunger strikes. :) The beach is big, so there is plenty of free zone.

We go there every year 4-5 times and get looked after extremely well. Good quality food and wines with amazing view right on the seafront. A real jewel of a bay on the sicilian coastline.

Crystal clear water and Bahamas feeling for this Sandy beach on the street to scopello. Great spot to have a dip and relax if you are going around and just want a bit of peace.

Beautiful pebble beach with calm and clear water. Parking was 5€ for the whole day.

It's a beautiful beach with a lot to offer. The fact that there are three parking areas available is quite convenient for visitors. The beach itself is known for its stunning turquoise waters and picturesque surroundings. It's a perfect spot for kayaking (we had our own kayak). The calm waters make it ideal for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. Paddling along the coast, you'll have the chance to explore hidden coves and admire the rugged cliffs that frame the beach. We went kayaking from here to Tonnara di Scopello which has a charming historical element with the remains of an old tuna fishing facility.

Clean pebbly beach with calm waves, clear and shallow waters, and easy access for children. We rented beach umbrellas and chairs. Very family friendly.

  • 4/5 Maria Vaz S. 7 months ago on Google
Very beautiful. The only thing I think would be an improvement would be a public shower. Also, the flag was red with no life guard in sight... We entered anyways and it was pretty chill for anyone used to Atlantic waters (would be an equivalent to a green flag in Portugal, per example)

Beach was clean, and people were friendly. Bring a roll of toilet paper in your beach bag, but I would also say that to most public bathrooms in italy.

So, I was a little surprised just how crowded the beach was. I was told by the locals that July and August are high tourist season so the beach will always be crowded. That being said, it cost us 40e for 4 chairs and one umbrella. The water was a beautiful color blue but not as clear as you would expect. I did like that the waiters will come around with menus and u can place orders and they will bring to your chairs. Plenty of different options on the menus to choose from for lunch and reasonably priced. The view is beautiful. Like most beaches, there are pebbles so wear water shoes. There is a bathroom, it is what it is but clean. If you are looking for a quiet beach this is not it but very clean compared to other beaches in Sicily. Parking was only 5e for the day.

What a gem. Make sure you arrive on sunny day and you will be amazed. Caribbean-like turquoise water. Did not expect such in North Sicily. Paid-for parking, roughly for 50 cars, one restaurant and one snack bar.

Very pleased. Close to Guidaloca Residence. Parking, bar, sand in part of the beach. Also nice for a walk by night.

  • 4/5 Marius A. 1 year ago on Google
Quiet! No sand though (get ready for pebbles) 5€ all day parking just 20 yards away

  • 1/5 Antonia D. 1 year ago on Google
Crowded, cars and traffic alongside the road, very commercial, covered with rentable chaise longue, litter in the back. . I ate a salade Sicilia at Buccelato Patrizia with rotten oranges and she wouldn't replace it. Bars next to each other and each with it's music.paybtonpee, pay to shower, pay to seat, a little horror. Pitty, the water is crystal clear

Best beach from Palermo to Trapani! Very small stones, always transparent blue azzurro water and clean, place for snorkelling, warm water cause Tiren mare, wonderful nature landscapes around. large parkings, rent of sailing equipment. Lovely! 🔅🐠

It's a nice, mid-size beach, with private sunbeds and free sections as well. The beach itself if really more pebbles and rocks which can be uncomfortable without beach shoes. The water was really nice and warm, although it's not crystal clear because of the wind and waves.

Blackpool sands is such a lovely beach. It is a pebble peach but the pebbles are only very small. The sea comes in quite far so try not to get wet! It is relatively busy with a nice café which sells ice cream and coffee. Try to visit if you are in the area, it is worth it!

Having lived and worked in Devon for @2 yrs. Blackpool Sands was a gem of a find. Nestled in a not that well travelled corner of the Devon coast it never really seemed to get overrun with tourists. I imagine the locals got the most from the beach having some very exclusive and luxurious looking coastal properties around. Having said that there are a lot of beaches to choose from around here. Not really a swimmers beach even in hot weather. The water temperature would almost always require a 5mm wetsuit but definitely a place to relax. Ample parking and reasonably priced refreshments. It has been many years since I have been here but it left a mark on me.

Nice relaxing private stone beach ⛱ . Has public toilets and restaurant serving good fish and chips. £8 all day parking which is a very short walk to the beach. Sea water is clear and the beach area is very clean. Limited amenities, but worthwhile the visit.

Stunning pebble beach with a great care/restaurant. Kayaks, windbreaks etc for hire on site. Large car parks (pay) if you drive there .Lifeguards on duty in season, but better off peak as the scenery is amazing and best savoured when quiet..

A good place if you're planning on making a day of it. Car parking on site and costs £2 entry per adult. Cafe offering reasonable options. The toilet facilities were very well kept. Main drawback was the fact that it's a shingle beach and isn't really that big.

Good beach especially when it's low tide time Rocky not sandy but small rocks and gravel. Amazing views for the countryside and cliffs

  • 4/5 David M. 3 years ago on Google
Fairly secluded beach with good parking. Cafe and shop for food and drink. Beach shallows quite gently into the sea but the sand is a bit grainy, but all in all and nice beach to spend the day.

  • 4/5 Lorraine L. 3 years ago on Google
Beautiful. Shingle not sand which makes it hard to walk. It is because if coastal erosion and I understood just a shame.

We arrived late afternoon, and the sun coming down, the beach was serene and lovely at this time. I imagine during the day just as pretty. Not many spaces where we parked up. But this does suggest it doesn't get too busy there. Lovely and clean, remote and quite, a little gem

This is a lovely pebble beach we have been here many times . My main moan is the the toilets are not open. It’s a pleasant day in November and the Owners are happy to sell tea and hot food but keep the toilets closed. There is no excuse . The toilets at other public places are open . Other wise it is a great place .
