Good
but
not
great.
The
property
is
located
in
the
historic
center
of
Trapani,
just
a
few
minutes
from
any
place
of
interest
and
the
port.
The
host,
Domenico,
is
very
kind,
he
has
always
given
us
impeccable
advice
(especially
in
the
culinary
field)
and
has
lent
us
two
umbrellas
for
the
sea,
saving
us
from
buying
them
(I
hope
to
be
properly
repaid
by
leaving
a
deckchair
that
will
probably
be
arrangement
of
posterity).
That
said,
the
structure
in
general
seems
to
suffer
from
little
attention
to
some
details,
which
overall
worsen
the
guest
experience.
Reading
the
reviews,
even
before
arriving,
we
saw
that
there
had
been
a
decline
over
the
years,
a
sign
of
the
fact
that
the
aging
of
the
structure,
obviously
not
accompanied
by
adequate
maintenance,
had
an
impact
on
the
final
judgment
of
the
users.
Among
the
painful
notes
are:
-
cleaning:
when
we
booked
it
was
written
that
it
was
scheduled
every
day
(literally
"daily
cleaning
service"),
but
when
we
arrived
we
were
told
that
it
was
not
provided
at
all,
and
that
there
would
only
be
a
linen
change
mid-stay;
-
the
kitchen:
all
the
rooms
are
real
apartments
with
a
kitchenette,
which
however
we
have
not
used
as
they
are
really
old
and,
reconnecting
to
the
first
point,
dirty;
the
kitchen
should
be
the
cleanest
part
of
the
house,
but
it
didn't;
-
the
bathroom:
the
washing
machine
was
too
old
and,
when
operated,
it
stank,
which
prevented
us
from
using
it;
the
shower
closed
up
after
about
three
seconds
of
use,
immediately
creating
a
sort
of
swimming
pool
full
of
sand
and
hair
(from
previous
guests
I
guess,
but
who
knows);
here
too,
I
guess
there
has
been
a
progressive
worsening
over
the
years,
also
reading
the
reviews
of
other
users;
bedroom:
wardrobe
and
TV
were
missing;
terrace:
unusable
as
it
is
too
dirty;
building:
on
the
first
floor
the
light
did
not
turn
on
and
the
lift
took
about
2
minutes
to
make
4
floors
(among
other
things,
you
had
to
hold
down
the
key
relating
to
the
destination
floor
all
the
time),
which
was
very
inconvenient
if
you
kept
something
at
the
same
time
(for
example
shopping
bags).
These
negative
aspects
are
contrasted,
as
already
mentioned,
by
a
very
kind
and
helpful
host,
and
a
structure
that
gives
the
impression
of
having
great
potential,
unfortunately
unexpressed.
The
terrace
of
the
super
attic
of
the
rais
(one
of
the
two
rooms
we
booked)
would
be
an
exceptional
strength,
but
the
lack
of
cleanliness
does
not
put
the
guest
at
ease,
who
therefore
does
not
use
it
(as
in
our
case).
The
rating
then
stands
at
3
stars,
which
I
hope
can
serve
as
a
warning
to
the
managers
of
the
structure
to
improve
the
points
I
have
described.
Overall,
for
the
price,
I
don't
want
to
advise
against
it,
even
if
you
have
to
make
more
than
one
compromise
to
get
some
flaws
down.
(Original)
Bene
ma
non
benissimo.
La
struttura
è
situata
in
pieno
centro
storico
di
trapani,
a
pochi
minuti
da
qualsiasi
luogo
di
interesse
e
dal
porto.
L'host,
Domenico,
è
gentilissimo,
ci
ha
sempre
dato
consigli
impeccabili
(soprattutto
in
ambito
culinario)
e
ci
ha
prestato
due
ombrelloni
per
il
mare,
facendoci
risparmiare
di
acquistarli
(spero
di
esserci
sdebitati
a
dovere
lasciando
una
sdraio
che
probabilmente
sarà
messa
a
disposizione
dei
posteri).
Ciò
detto,
la
struttura
in
generale
sembra
soffrire
di
scarsa
attenzione
su
alcuni
particolari,
che
nel
complesso
peggiorano
l'esperienza
dell'ospite.
Leggendo
le
recensioni,
già
prima
di
arrivare,
abbiamo
visto
che
c'era
stato
un
calo
negli
anni,
segno
del
fatto
che
l'invecchiamento
della
struttura,
evidentemente
non
accompagnato
da
un'adeguata
manutenzione,
ha
inciso
sul
giudizio
finale
degli
utenti.
Tra
le
note
dolenti
ci
sono:
-
la
pulizia:
quando
abbiamo
prenotato
c'era
scritto
che
era
prevista
tutti
i
giorni
(testualmente
"servizio
di
pulizia
quotidiana"),
ma
quando
siamo
arrivati
ci
è
stato
detto
che
non
era
prevista
affatto,
e
che
ci
sarebbe
stato
solo
un
cambio
biancheria
a
metà
soggiorno;
-
la
cucina:
tutte
le
stanze
sono
veri
e
propri
appartamenti
provvisti
di
angolo
cottura,
che
però
non
abbiamo
sfruttato
in
quanto
veramente
vecchi
e,
ricollegandomi
al
primo
punto,
sporchi;
la
cucina
dovrebbe
essere
la
parte
più
pulita
della
casa,
ma
così
non
è
stato;
-
il
bagno:
la
lavatrice
era
troppo
vecchia
e,
quando
azionata,
puzzava,
il
chè
ci
ha
impedito
di
utilizzarla;
la
doccia
si
otturava
dopo
circa
tre
secondi
di
utilizzo,
creando
subito
una
sorta
di
piscina
piena
di
sabbia
e
capelli
(degli
ospiti
precedenti
immagino,
ma
chi
lo
sa);
anche
qui,
immagino
ci
sia
stato
un
progressivo
peggioramento
negli
anni,
leggendo
anche
le
recensioni
degli
altri
utenti;
camera
da
letto:
mancavano
armadio
e
televisore;
terrazzo:
inutilizzabile
in
quanto
troppo
sporco;
palazzo:
al
primo
piano
la
luce
non
si
accendeva
e
l'ascensore
ci
metteva
circa
2
minuti
per
fare
4
piani
(tra
l'altro,
bisognava
tenere
premuto
per
tutto
il
tempo
il
tasto
relativo
al
piano
di
destinazione),
il
chè
era
molto
scomodo
se
si
manteneva
al
contempo
qualcosa
(ad
esempio
le
buste
della
spesa).
A
questi
aspetti
negativi
si
contrappongono,
come
già
detto,
un
host
molto
gentile
e
disponibile,
e
una
struttura
che
dà
l'impressione
di
avere
un
grandissimo
potenziale,
purtroppo
inespresso.
Il
terrazzo
del
super
attico
del
rais
(una
delle
due
stanze
che
abbiamo
prenotato)
sarebbe
un
punto
di
forza
eccezionale,
ma
la
poca
pulizia
non
mette
a
proprio
agio
l'ospite,
che
quindi
non
lo
utilizza
(come
nel
nostro
caso).
Il
giudizio
quindi
si
attesta
su
3
stelle,
che
spero
possano
servire
da
monito
ai
gestori
della
struttura
per
migliorare
i
punti
che
ho
descritto.
Nel
complesso,
per
il
prezzo,
non
mi
sento
di
sconsigliarlo,
anche
se
bisogna
fare
più
di
un
compromesso
per
farsi
andare
giù
alcuni
difetti.
