Avoid at all costs! This was the the absolute worst restaurant I have ever been to. The fish was uncooked, the shrimp was not cleaned of outer shell or legs, nor insides, and it was too small to clean myself. My partner ordered pasta who had ingredients not even put on the menu (allergens!!!!). The pasta itself was undercooked. Not al dente, simply undercooked and overall horrible. We paid a fortune just so we could go to another restaurant to eat. Run away from this place!!!

Absolutely terrible. Avoid! The bread we got charged for was beyond stale, it had no taste and was as hard as a brick. My shrimp pasta with pastacchio and truffel was semi warm, the sauce tasted store bought at best, there was little to no shrimp (mainly a shrimps head which you can't eat lol) and the pasta itself was dry and undercooked. Shameful especially considering this is Italy.. The fried sea food plate we also got was okay at best. The seafood wasn't cleaned and some of the fish didn't seem fully cooked. And on top of all that the service was unpersonal and unfriendly. My food also arrived 5 minutes later which is odd, the waiters didn't come to check if we liked it. Absolute waste of money, had to go elsewhere to satisfy our hunger. Please avoid, so many amazing places in Trapani, unfortunately, this is not one of them.

An absolutely fabulous place to stay in the heart of Trapani. Beautiful rooms in an historical building surrounded by lovely restaurants and cafes. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Definitely going to go there again.

A friend of mine recommended this place. Great location, fantastic food and welcoming spirit of the hosts. The owners are really nice and helpful in any way they can. We stayed for two nights, and it was a great, memorable experience.

We payed a visit to the restaurant only, but that place is definitely worth five stars!! The pasta’s - busiate pesto trapanese, spaghetti with lamb ragout - were the best we had on Sicily (and we had quite a lot, haha). And wow, that lemon tiramisu! Honestly impressive.

Food was ok, all 3 items we ordered were well presented. But 2 dishes packed flavor. Paccheri gambero tartufo zafferano was good, pumpkin flowers and involtino zucchini lacked taste, no noticeable flavor. Location very nice... On the main street of old city Trapani. Service efficient but not personal or enjoyable, almost too efficient (do you want us to leave quickly?). Annoying music across the street but not loud. Menu rather limited. Wines were drinkable, not at all memorable. Price with 3 glasses of wine, 65 euros. We will not return. On the upside, bathrooms are large, well lighted and very clean. Inside dining space is beautiful and had nice paintings. Too many other good and better restaurants to try. If this helps you let me know and click on HELPFUL.

Had a lovely dinner with families of four adult and four children. Very good food, large portions and not expensive. Great wine!

The service here is absolutely horrible. I asked for some information about the wine and I was met with an absolute grimace and dismissed twice before being told I should just pick one. It was actually so abrupt it made me tear up out of shock. The food came so quickly we had no chance to enjoy the atmosphere and we were eating at 9:30pm so there were several empty tables. This place is clearly only interested in turnover. We told the host we were unhappy with our treatment by our waiter and he pretty much just shrugged. The food was ok, fairly average, honestly nothing to write home about and it's not worth it for the treatment you get.

Used only restaurant part, did not stay overnight. Recommend highly. Calm, relaxing atmosphere, friendly and professional service, all ordered dishes were very delicious. And at the end- refreshing lemon sorbet!😋😋😋

Lovely setting, pleasing ambiance. Great front of house manager, friendly efficient. Meal was very enjoyable. Only improvement would be that the rucola for my beef course should have been fresher. Overall good experience.

RESTAURANT: old school spirited spot that really knows how to run a quality spot and takes pride in it. It can be hard to tell a quality place from a place dressed up to look quality here in Sicily. I ate a whole fish (I’d been searching for a spot in Sicily for 11 days that would do this!) and Ai Lumi seriously delivered. Emanuel took amazing care of my wife and I. Fresh ingredients, great execution — and all super relaxed about delivering the goods. Great recos from staff. I wish they had wine from some smaller producers (it’s mostly Cusamano wines here) but the price point is so reasonable for the quality that it’s hard to be upset with any of their offerings.

Just amazing: the service is top, the quality of food is next level and the staff there are chilled and friendly but also super professional. Couldn't resist going the second night in a row we were in Trapani, just so exceptionally good. Located in a perfect spot, too.

Meh.. the spaghetti lamb Raghu was the only decent thing that came out, but just about. The salad and cuttle fish where both sub par. Very disappointing indeed.

overally disappointed. squid was a small portion, only 1, average taste. the one you'd get in your own country in a decent restaurant. roasted potatoes great. pasta trapani pesto also average, like I am not in Italy...the wine was great, service good. prices average, 10-20 eur a meal, wine 18 eur. I would not recommend this place

It could not have been more Felliniesque if you tried. A balcony overlooking a street of restaurants, rooms that felt like our family belonged there and the courtyard that simply announced style. After our luggage was hoisted to our second floor suite by a pulley and basket we knew we were in Trapani heaven. Charming and gracious hosts, fabulous surrounding on palatial scale. The B&B is in the centre of vibrant Trapani, two street from the port and it’s boats, ships and tree lines avenue. Only the restaurant owned by the proprietors could top the stay, and it did. All of that in one Sicilian dream package. The rooms were spacious and charming, exhibiting the best of the family atmosphere. The suite contained kitchen area which would have been useful if we were staying longer and not succumbing to the Sicilian cuisine on the Street below. Aside from the generosity and graciousness of the hosts, the street bellow our balcony was alive with diners and passersby with real sense of community and vigour. Just lovely place and experience.

Family owned and operated, the chef was very talented, he makes wonderful delicious food. We ordered different dishes to try from the menu, and each one was delicious. Don't miss out on this experience.

So I rocked up on my own. In the mood for a steak. It was priced at 22 euro which is a bit more expensive than other local restaurants. Had to pay another 4 euro for a side of potatoes. Asked for medium rare. . It was sublime. Came smothered in a peppercorn sauce which I was not expecting but worked really well. The steak was exactly medium rare. Looked rare but tasted just right. The side of potatoes were roasted perfectly. I had two glasses of house red, very tasty. I was not planning on dessert but as the main was so good I thought why not. Ultimately disappointing, bit too dry and when I asked if they had any cream they pointed out the it was already drizzled with chocolate. I found it hard to attract the attention of staff, usually a raised eye brow in a good restaurant is enough. Here you have to be a little forceful, I left with the be impression that the staff were doing more important things than looking after me. Coffee was excellent.

This lovely restaurant served beautiful home cooked, traditional, Sicilian food. Our waiter was extremely accommodating, helpful and gave us an excellent recommendation for wine. Deserving of their place in the Michelin guide!

Food was okay but they charged us 5€ for stale bread which we assumed was complimentary, weird! And the salads had no dressing

Good dinner, fast service even though they were very busy. Lovely lemon tiramisu

Starting from the beginning you'll find a good location, friendly staff, a nice place to stay, decent wines. On the other hand, you'll be served pretty basic dishes without any clue about the plating; it feels old, I'd say '80s or so. I kindly suggest to move on to another restaurant

The food is ok but nothing incredible. The service is very mechanic and industrialised, the guys that brings your water is not the same as the one that takes your order - so it is you and your luck when it comes to when you eat. They don’t serve plates at the same time, so you could be eating while others at your table are watching you. Their is a street singer just at the corner that prevent you from talking to the person you are with so that’s very annoying. In conclusion I do not recommend

I Had my fair share of pasta, but this one was not even OK. I Had the Tagliatelle with lamb ragu, If you Want to call four tiny pieces of meat a ragu. The souce tasted Store bought and on top the dish was Not even Hot, Just warm... But i guess Sicily is more famous for its fish anyway, which was just ok here.
