I don't think these guys need any more reviews, but I want to emphasize that the food is delicious, fresh and they have many options on the menu. The service is attentive and very good with recommendations more than trying to sell the most expensive wine or the most expensive dish, they take into account what the diners order to also make suggestions. The owner is a very charismatic person, he came over to see if we had any doubts with the menu and took our order to the point! And he recommended us a place to buy some of the ingredients they use in their recipes, because I was fascinated by their smoked tuna. Just try it!

TL;DR: Fantastic Sicilian restauraunt that is a MUST TRY for Seafood lovers (I think most reviews skip over this point). Also, you should definitely book ahead of time if you are set on dining here. This restauraunt hardly needs more positive reviews, but the food and service we experienced were excellent! This is absolutely a seafood restaurant first and foremost, and if you want to try local cuisine/preparations, this is the place! Highly recommend the mixed seafood platter which was probably the highlight despite the delicious mains, due to the variety of dishes and flavours that came on the plate(s). We chose to pair our food with a bottle of local Sicilian orange wine - Aremi, which was absolutely delicious (on the drier side). The service was fantastic from the moment we sat down, we were even provided two complimentary serves of the almond liqueur and biscuits to end the meal mentioned in many other reviews. Would definitely return again and recommend to anyone visiting Trapani.

This is by far the worst restaurant I've been to in Italy. It was recommended to us by our hotel host with the note that we should reserve as it is usually full. Indeed it was full - maybe the place is paying hotel owners to recommend their restaurant. The atmosphere is really not nice, compared to the many cute restaurants in the center. The service was slow and not good at all. But by far the worst was the food. Never coming here again.

We had the lobster soup with pasta. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Fish was over cooked and as a result very dry. Portions are small. I had pasta with clams and zucchini- were very salty and pasta was very oily and burnt. Quite expensive- charged even for bread. Pistachio tiramisu - the base a little bit watery, everything was so so, not too bad but not definitely good enough to come back to. Staff not very nice but most of the waiters here are just rude.

A Gem in Trapani! Reservations highly recommended as people were turned away at the door. We had our stay make reservations for us. The restaurant crew were fantastic & friendly besides one server who clearly didn’t want to be there… Outdoor seating in the summer is classy, not with plastic furniture like old photos. Mind blowing seafood cous cous with the carafe of fish broth is a must try of course.We cold have shared it as a secondi each! Raw red prawns were creamy & flavorful along with the assorted fish antipasti. Sardine & fennel meatballs in tomato sauce were out of this world delicious. The grilled swordfish steak is flavorful perfection. Try the caponata or accompany with the swordfish. Sicilians blow you away by what they can do with eggplant! The seafood pasta was delicious. Chilled Grillo white wine to wash everything down on a warm evening. We dined twice but wish we did all three evenings… The portions are large in Italian terms. Don't forget the beautiful rustic bread to mop up the sauces! Complimentary almond wine shots & sesame biscuits for dessert. Perfetto! Grazie Mille!!!

The place was beautiful, the food amazing! The quantity of pasta was too much for me, but maybe is because we ate too much in the beginning, the entrance. The wine excellent, the background music perfect! And in the end they offered a almond liquor with some biscuits. We love it!!! Totally recommended!

Taste / Value vs. Price Ratio was not what I expected. Fresh fish - but the taste for me was missing in overall standing. The Tiramisu dessert will not be mentioned.

Good food, not excellent. A bit costly. Service for sure is bellow average. Nothing particular to complain but also nothing particular from food which made you exited and willing to return back again.

The pastas were very good and tasty (solid portions!). Coperto - 2,50 per person, the most expensive so far in Trapani but we got wine and snack to taste at the end of the meal so it balances out.

Excellent and tasty food, prepared with regional recipes. Fish and other seafood super fresh and tasty. Pleasant atmosphere, sitting under the trees and the pleasant bustle of the Sicilian street.

The reviews do not represent the restaurant at all. The food was not good, especially for the price of it. I got grilled squid which was extremely rubbery and hard, the prawns were in their full shell, it was very unpleasant to clean them and then eat. The whole dinner was just a waste of money.

The food, what we have ordered, was good, but nothing special. I saw, that a lot of people have ordered seefood soups and couscous. Perhaps those are main dishes why people are comming here 🤔. It was very crowded and we had to wait an hour to get some starters 😳. This part was a bit disappointing.

Great crudo of red shrimps. Couscous is delicious, but beware it's a dish for two or even three people. In the soup there is a whole fish, another piece of fish, a squid, prawns, a variey of mussels.....So it's definitely too much for one, and I wish they would warn before taking the order. The broth is tasty, too. Marsala as digestif is a nice gesture.

Very pleased with the service and enjoyed the lobster pasta. The food is well above average. I look forward to go there again.

Excellent local restaurant, staff polite and helpful, they also speak good English , I ordered a pasta with red shrimps swordfish pistachio, while my friend ordered a local pesto sauce pasta, reasonable prices too The waiter Marco is friendly and professional at the same time. Highly recommended, will go back in the near future .
