We tried it because of the high rate. It has a lot of small rooms that are very plane with no real ambiente so we prefered to take the pizza home. But the pizza was not what we expected. It tasted like nothing. Even the cheese did not have any flavour. A mistake for sure! How did people like it?! No idea! Two good things are the low pricea and a central location.

Way too much salt. The choice of pizza without anchovies is small.

Very centrally located hidden gem! Frequently visited by the locals. It looks totally unassuming from the outside and has a cozy house like interior. The pizzas are available in small, medium and large sizes. Beware that small size is just perfect for an individual. Medium and large can done with multiple choices in the same pizza. Coming to the pizza, one of the best pizza I ever tried over the last 4 years of living in Italy! The menu is also in English, the people are quite friendly and can assist you in your choose. Totally an incredible experience.

Lived in Sicily for 6 months back in 2018. Today I was thinking about this place and craving their Norcina pizza, and felt it would be disrespectful to not share my love for this place. Still the best pizza I have ever had.

For me it was not a pizza more like baked frozen pizza. The dough was very thick and cheese was fat. I know this is rianata trapanese style pizza but, it’s was awful. I prefer Roman style pizza much more. And the waiting time was 30+ minutes after we order and we waited 20 min to order. Waiters were nice and friendly, they speak English pretty well. We made a reservation to sit inside the decore is bad. Our first thought/feel was hospital. Withe bright lights, paper tablecloth, plastic cups. And we paid 2 euros per person for service. If you need to try it just order it to go.

A must when in Trapani. Unique pizza unlike anywhere else. Gets busy every day and fast, but worth it 👍 Read about the history of the place, upon visiting.

Not a good pizza... Burnt crust and no flavour. Very overrated on Google reviews. The dining decor is also poor.

Great quick service given how busy they are. If yiu want table I think you need to make a reservation, otherwise you can be served and eat in the ordering area where there is a perimeter counter with stools. Oh the Pizzas yiu will remember for life👍

I was a big fan of this place. It was always my have-to-visit place while in Trapani… and I’m here 2-3 times a year. Unfortunately yesterday something changed. Pizza wasn’t as amazing as it used to be and I paid much more than I should. Pizza on a bill was more expensive than at the menu and for two glasses of house wine I paid 10€… for this price you can get almost 1,5L of house wine in many places in Trapani. Probably due to the sentiments I will give them a chance again in a while… but this time only four stars. Should be easy five but not sure if they deserve anymore!

I am not a pizza person. Don't mind but not my favorite meal. However , during my stay in Trapani I went to Calvino as it was close to apartment we rented and belive me, it was best culinary experience I had in Sicily! Their pizza is so addictive and I mean it :)

The margherita pizza was just ok, there wasn't any passata on it and I love a good tomato base pizza. The potato vastase was really nice though!

We went here twice, both times the pizza was excellent and the staff are nice! Get the rustico ai fungi. Good topping and importantly - crispy base! Also, the pizzas are huge, a piccola is enough for one person. Some staff speak some English, but its not hard to use a few italian words to order. Despite the big sign saying No take away, they definitely do take away. Ignore the sign they told me. We ate at the 'bar' which is a fun way to watch Italian culture for half an hour while you eat..

Trapani is the gift that keeps on giving… this pizzeria was amazing, so many beautiful flavours in our pizza. I can see why the locals are crazy for this place. Also very reasonable prices

We were fooled by reviews. We ordered pizza Diavola & al Gorgonzola and they both tasted identical. The pizza met Gorgonzola and salami somewhere on the way for a short second and forgot to take them with. On top of being delivered in 45 minutes. We would consider this very regular pizza.

This is not typical pizza that you want to eat while visiting Italy, but it’s original and traditional so its worth trying :) Place is even more original than food :D

Very friendly waiters, no waiting time even without reservation. The restaurant is very charming and looks unique, the prices are fair. The pizza itself is very good and perfect to share. All in all, best pizza we've had in Sicily so far.

Delicious delicious pizza! Reccomend to book if you want a table as it was so busy. They accommodated us at the reception / takeaway area, because tables were full. Always a good sign. Glad that they could because the food was delicious and a lovely glass of house red to go with it. Staff so friendly even with our minimal Italian 😊

Although we couldn't be seated in the dining area, there was some place at the counter so we could observe how packed this place is and how many pizzas are leaving the kitchen (and there were a lot!). The pizza is really something else and is really good! When in doubt, order Mista Calvino to get two amazing pizzas in one! 🍕

Waited more than 30 minutes in line to order a pizza to take away. Not a single word from the people there to tell me how long it might take ; and when I asked, they answered quickly in italian while walking away. Had to left without being able to order. Too bad, the pizzas actually looked fine !

Great no-nonsense pizzas with a straightforward service, seat, eat, enjoy and leave feeling like you just had a little piece of heaven.

Very good quality products but thick based pizza (not our favourite), very fat and when u order pizza with anchovies is very salty. We didn't finish even 1 pizza each. We have our pizza inside and on the end they charge us 8 euro for the service.

One of the oldest and most respected pizzerias of Trapani. Note for Indian traveller : Pepperoni pizza gets your a veggie pizza with red peppers.. but NO SALAMI. (Order the Diavola instead)

Takeaway only! The prices are okay but i would expect more from the food. The place is well visited i think mostly because of the Google-Reviews... About the Pizza: The dough is pre-made a bit chewy 3/10 the toppings and salsa are much better but the whole thing is soked in olive oil :/ I had the Pizza Mare e Menti (salmon with mushrooms). I would rate the whole thing considering the price waiting time/service and TASTE at a 5/10.
