Great spot in ancient temple

The atmosphere is as I remember when I was a child, very colourful, noisy and, somehow magical. The location is less colourful and more modern. I miss the old fish market location, on the other side of the old town.

Good place where to get local fish, fresh vegetables and fruit. But beware old or imported fish. If you cannot tell the difference, get help from some local. Vegetables and fruit are cheap and usually of high quality, but the quality of fish varies due to the weather (and richness of the catch of the day).

New location much better selection with prices lower than grocery stores. Fresh daily. . You need to know what type of fish you are buying. Fish mongers are friendly and will clean fish for you.

Very fresh fish and nice experience

Great fish market. But the smell of drains and piles of rubbish let it down. The drain smell was so bad it puts you off buying anything. I'd also advise the local authorities that they need to tackle the litter and household waste issues in the area.
