Disappointing place, is not cheaper than a restaurant and the quality of the food is not very good.

Awesome idea to get food and eat by the sea. We tried for the first time the fish couscous, and the fried seafood mix, all very yummy!

As someone with a nut allergy eating out in Sicily can be difficult it is only down to attentive restaurants such as this that is possible. Fantastic fried fish available to eat in or take away!

I had the pasta and I immediately told the owner that I’ll come back in an hour to try more, that’s how nice it tasted. The service was top notch, looks like a family business, everyone were extremely friendly and sweet, the lady speaks great English and the little boy was very adorable 😊 just makes you feel like home💖 推荐！

Best local food in Trapani, the dishes depend on the fish of the day and when we went, it was octopus. We tried the pasta Busciate (with octopus) and Fish (fried octopus) cous cous, and both were delcious!! The cous cous comes with a sauce that you serve on top, I totally recommend it!

Compared to the other restaurants offering the same kind of food, it's clear that the quality is a little bit below the other restaurants. For example, the couscous is only servers with small shrimps, nothing else. My wife took a misto mare, and it was ok, but the fishes were quite small. Don't go there for the couscous, there are better at other places. The rest, I honestly cannot say.

An authentic bistro to stop by for a quick lunch when in historic centre. We ordered the fritto misto in a wrapped paper. Unfortunately these were quite small portions, we expected more for the price. (See in the whole portion in the picture) However, the seafood was fresh and delicious in taste.

Fantastic seafood restaurant with Wi-Fi and outlets for travelers! They didn’t have cappuccino but they gave me one anyway and it was delicious. Also the pasta was delicious. They did turn up the music and I think it was the owner who serenaded us with the guitar and he gave me a dance. Lovely atmosphere.

My partner and I had our trip made with the time spent at Alberto's Maree. From great fried seafood and couscous with generous portions paired with a wine pitcher, to the great music, to Alberto's stories and incredible desert wine - our experience was invaluable. Super recommend, so glad we stumbled across this place. Also practical for taking a cone of fried seafood to go for take-away which we did one night.

Fresh food cooked from an artist

We were a couple. One had the pasta with fish of the day. The other had calamari with cous cous.

Good couscous but really nice cone of calamari. Small portions but ok

The owner was lovely and very helpful getting another diner to assist us with translating the menu. He has fantastic recommendations of the local beer, fresh fish platter from the local fish from the fisherman & fish cous cous with a brodo that he cooks for 4 hours. We also loved the prawns. Highly recommended authentic high quality experience.

Delicious food and good value. Everything we had was really good quality, good selection of different seafood and fish, and I particularly liked how the batter on the fish is so light and crispy so it doesn’t taste greasy at all. The red shrimps, both the fried ones and the raw ones, were heaven. Also loved the baby squids. Shame the pulpo and fish cous cous were not available , although we did arrive late. Great for a quick lunch and good value too.

We had fish couscous, busiate with catch of the day and a small portion of mixed fried fish. It was good, a bit expensive, also considering that dishes etc were all disposable . I expected to find fish within the couscous instead there were only kind of mini squids on top of it. Still the fish was very fresh and well cooked and portions were ok so on the overall we ended up satisfied. The waiter who attended us was very friendly and kind.

Ordered the pasta and couscous for takeaway. It was not tasteful, very bland. Worst food we ate in Sicily (1 month trip!)

More like a fish fast food. The food was good but the small portions were really really small and all the cutlery was plastic.

I don't know why they have such a good score, the food is less than average, they serve the food from plastic and paper. Not that tasty, not that cheap. They serve the wine in paper cups, just saying 😂

See food was good as for a street bar. We receive food on paper plate with plastic cutlery. The service (lady) very nice, but the other service guy was arrogant and not friendly. We change this bar early after finishing our dinner.
