Beautifull historical centre of old town. Place for walking, eating and shopping. One from the best in Sicilia. From many streets is visible Erice mountain with old castle - this place should be on all visitors maps.

Magic place! Must visit, though there is a lot of waiting for the cableway, so it's better to book through an agent, then you go through a quick corridor..

Erice was something unique! The castle was literally into a cloud creating a great atmosphere. I had a fantastic panini there and some great sweets. Fantastic

Beautiful entrance to Erice. Spent a great day there. Be warned it is much colder than Trapani and it gets pretty windy up there.

You can take your time and stroll along those tiny and cute alleys. We just had 3 hours, which we found not enough to enjoy the beauty of this place. 100% recommendation.

Erice is such a beautiful town. Perched high on the mountain. Cable car up to it is spectacular. A must visit part of Sicily.

Erice is a beautiful place to visit. The beautiful hill covered by spring flowers and nearby sea-shore are amazing. Porta Trapani is an important place in Erice. The way to this place is made of old stone with beautiful arches/entrances.

This place is beautiful and the trip up to the town is absolutely stunning.

Trapani has the potential to be a beautiful seaside town tourist spot. Unfortunately due to the filthy beaches full of garbage and cigarette buts and the streets of rubbish (collecting around bins and simply tossed to the ground) we spent our two days driving to beaches and town further along the coast.

I would not put it on top of other places in Erice, where each house, each street is an amazing piece of history hidden high in the clouds.

Must see when visiting Tampani. The tower has a really nice view. Best to visit at sunset. Really great golden hour. Stunning views (see my picture). Bring your camera. Absolutely great shots.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Erice is surprising, it is far and hard to find, it's outside the Sicily you get used to love on your trip. At times it seems not to be there, but somewhere else in Europe. It is neat, clean, perfect, ancient... in short, a tile is not missing... and this is one of the most beautiful things: the per...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Beautiful area to take a walk and also admire the view of the Sicilian countryside and Trapani, the major city that is located on the coast. There are things for everyone. πŸ‘πŸ‘ Amazing gothic ceiling in this church. Nice view from the bells tower. I will say it’s the only two landmarks worth visiting, but for one euro more, you can buy the fulltour for 6 euros and can visit 3 others.
