My review based on 1 visit. The food is tasty and the service perfect, I remember we tried the cous cous for the first time in Sicily and it was delicious. Anyway, the best part is the silence and the view of the salt flats, enjoying a good glass of wine from there is priceless. Very nice place, a dinner here in the evening outdoors is worth your visit to the salt flats.

Stunning place, bad restaurant. Staff pretty much snobbed us when arrived, they ignored an allergy request and added a dish we never ordered (although they removed it from the bill, when asked to do so). What a shame!

Location is beautiful, but the food is not that good there is of better

Very nice family owned museum about the still continued salt production in Sicily. Can buy made salt and there’s a restaurant.

Staff was cold restaurant was hot ... Food was good as was location, Priced reasonably for a tourist area , Museum around back was run much better worth a Visit ...

Asked waiter for menu, they told us "we are not a bar, we don't have menu" and served us our preferred beverage in plastic cups. At the same time, lady at the next table was provided with menu. Rubbish service.

Location is great, but food was nothing special. We tried salted fish selection and it was pure salt. Baked fish was simple, but good. Dessert also nothing special. Otherwise great views.

Great view (from outside - there are no windows when sat inside the restaurant). Distinctly average food that could of been better for the price. Service was beyond terrible, would give 0 stars if possible. Might be worth asking your waiter to not touch the hair of female customers without their consent. Did this to both of the women in our group that were within his touching distance when we were placing our food order. Unacceptable behaviour. Recommend turning up for the view and then eating dinner elsewhere at one of the many better restaurants in the area.

Great view at sunset and good atmosphere. Staff very attentive. They noted a calculation error and caught us up as we were leaving to rectify. Overall a satisfying experience.

The location and setting is certainly not common, between the salt pans and the sea. Excellent very fresh fish.

Always a pleasure eating by the salt pans, we took friends visiting from the UK and they loved it, the bruschetta fir one was adequate for all four of us, the Cuscusu delicious as were the Busiate with pesto Trapanese. A good wine selection too.

The place is very nice. At first we were at museum. The excursion was very interesting. The girl was very friendly and welcoming. And we decided to go to restaurant in this place. But it was our mistake. The restaurant is oriented towards bus tours. Don't expect good service if there are two of you. In short, the waiter did not help with the selection food when it turned out that only one dish was available from our order. You couldn't wait for him, although another waiter nearby was very attentive to his bus tour guests. The last straw was when your plate was thrown on the table by the waiter, after which we made sure there was no tip for the waiter on the sale receipt. This service ruined all the efforts of his colleagues from the museum and store.

Interesting place for a coffee, but the terrace wasn't very clean.

I've been here several times, my last visit was September 2017. I remember great service and food, not so much this time. The new staff is inexperienced and the food is prepared without the proper attention and love. I'll be back next October and see if this visit was a fluke, I hope so, because the location is truly magical.

We visited the place during our trip to the Salinas. Sitting outside was marvelous. Waiter had big problem understanding English but we have managed to order our meals. Nevertheless, some locals who have ordered after us were served first. Food was delicious, prices little bit hefty for the area. I have noticed the sticker confirming that they were candidates to 2016 Michelin's

A good trattoria, placed into an unbelievable beautiful landscape - especially at sunset! Good food, not great but good! There’s place for improvement for some of the main courses, but overall a pleasant experience! We had the local pesto, the fish soup and some seafood pasta, and as well as fritto misto!
