We didn't like the feeling of this location. Our room was dark and full of flies. The air conditioning wasn't working properly. The food in the restaurant for dinner was mediocre. This place was trying to be rustic but they are more corporate and less local. When traveling in Sicily you'll find many opportunities to stay at B & B locations. Many have charm and you are greeted like family. It feels more like a motel and less of a quiet B&B. I must admit that the pool area was nice but we were told that the pool closes at 7pm. As we were swimming, I realized why the pool was early closing early. The staff was setting up for a private pool party. Also the staff was blasting music during set up for their enjoyment. The room was very dark. My wife referred to the room as a military barrack. It was defiantly not cozy at all. The air conditioner in our room wasn't working good. Our room was also full of flies. In our 3 weeks in Sicily this was the only place we encountered a fly issue. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant because it looked amazing. I will say that this place is great for the view of the sunset. The evening sky lit up like it was on fire. The food was just okay and I was really let down. It was kind of the first underwhelming meal we've had in the last 10 days of traveling. I'd recommend the free house made bread with there house made olive oil. I'd also recommend the Gnocchi al pistachio and grilled chicken. The pork chop was over cooked. The veal isn't really veal, it was chewy with a lot of fat. The sausage dry & over cooked. The house made pasta was not good. The team of waiters were nice but they kept trying to take our dishes away still with food on them without asking our permission. Some other notes about dinner here...the bugs are bad and a mouse was running around the restaurant. I understand it's a farm but you never want to see a mouse in a restaurant. It was the only mouse we saw in three weeks. They need some farm cats here. I did not see any of those here. The locals must like this place because they had several large parties including the private pool party. I didn't understand the kids 2 year old birthday party at 9pm in the evening. I know Sicilians eat dinner late but 9pm is too late for a small kids party. Forget about a romantic dinner watching the sunset while on vacation. One child ruined that for everyone dinning here. His parents just gave up as he screamed and yelled and ran around the restaurant ruining the evening for all. I'm also glad the Mom was able to leave the restaurant and go for a relaxing cigarette break. We appreciate you and glad you abandoned your child in the dinning room for all of us to enjoy. Breakfast was just okay. You had to cut your own salami & bread with the dullest knife in the world. If you could cut it, then you could eat it. There were definitely health code violations with everyone touching the bread and meat with their hands. If you wanted orange juice you had to cut the oranges and squeeze it yourself with a full knife again. We had to work for our breakfast and it wasn't relaxing. We stayed at many B&B's in Sicily & the breakfast here was probably our least favorite as well as the room. It just didn't feel special. On our next visit back to Sicily, we will not be coming back to this location to stay.

Thank you so much to the family owners and staff at Agriturismo Vultaggio! We had an excellent 4 night stay, including terrific meals and a lovely massage. Special thanks to our food server, Adriano, who took wonderful care of us. Only one thing I would change: the bed in room 9—very uncomfortable. But all else was good!

Fantastic local and authentic sicilian food. A plus for me was that they are a slow food restaurant and respect the slow food philosophy. The quality was perfect and the price is very very fair. I would recommend this restaurant at 1000%! Go there and experience the REAL authentic sicilian kitchen and a restaurant who respects the quality and the origins of their products!

Nice place to stay (we had the glamping experience) and very good restaurant with friendly staff. Restaurant can be busy (lots of local people stopping by to have lunch or dinner) but this didn’t bother us. Prices for food are very good as well.

This place is a perfect example for a restaurant with a great view, but rubbish food and service. Perhaps due to the covid situation there was a limited offer. Our waiter only spoke Italien and couldn't explain how the menu worked out - due to that I was literally not able to anticipate what will be on my plate lateron, so I took the safe path and chose a pizza. Eventually I was right and happy to do so. The view was exceptionally, although we were a bit late and could not enjoy it. If you are the guy enjoying crowded, large scale restaurants with no personality at all, go there - this restaurant is for you. Everyone else - stay away!

We were a party of four who stayed for two nights. We found that the surroundings were heavenly: quiet, relaxing and beautiful. However, the meals surpass any level of description! There were very generous portions of the most delicious food one could hope for. Definitely exceeded our expectations!

I just got back from a wonderful 10-day trip to Sicily, and Agriturismo Vultaggio was definitely one of the highlights. I was travelling with three other people and we all agree that the food we ate there was the best of our trip. It was wonderful knowing that much of what we ate came either from their own farm or farms nearby. Dinner was just lovely and I would not hesitate on coming back. The rooms were nice as well, with their own refrigerators. My father-in-law did say that he was woken up early by hearing some of the farmworkers get started with their day, but this only underscores the nature of this real working agri-tourism location.

We booked for New Year's Eve dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed with a glass of fizz and some finger-food aperitifs. The menu was a big variety of small, local dishes - like a tasting menu and, despite the portions were small, the waiters (one of them speaking a good English) kept coming to ask if we wanted some more. We had a cocktail, there was a lovely bottle of red wine already open at the table and when this finished they promptly brought another one. The entertainment of the evening was a duo of musicians performing Sicilian and other regional folk music. Everything was nice and there were only a few children all well behaved. The only criticism I feel to raise is that the fizz to toast the new year was... sweet. We will be back

We were only there for dinner so just a review of the restaurant. The food was amazing with fresh local products. The (I assume wooden) grill is amazing so dont miss out on your "secondo". Atmosphere and service were very charming. We will be back :)

Oh what a place. Food is excellent and their hospitality is impeccable. Living in a tent was a new experience and we enjoyed it.

Lovely place to stay not far from Trapani, Marsala, etc. Dinner is just perfect. Breakfast is really nice. Only small problem. English language. But hands and face expression very helpful. Definitely return to this place
