I ate there 3 times in a week. Outstanding kitchen and service. The artichoke pasta was to die for. The stick to the roof of your mouth cheesecake was dense and not overly sweet. Outstanding pasta vongole, swordfish, involtini, and calamari. Service was very friendly and helpful. Just a great neighborhood restaurant!

We just liked their food so much and appreciated the hospitality of uncle Gabriel during our stay in Palermo last Nov 21. He even offered us orange from his own garden when he knew we were leaving Palermo that night. He wished to meet us again someday somewhere. 😌

It was an incredible experience. The food was amazing and I think it was the best spaghetti I have ever eaten. The staff was super nice and they really deserve 5 stars. When you are in Palermo, you have to visit this place.

Excellent food, excellent staff and great prices! Very traditional restaurant, a great family business. The two waiters were amazing, always open for some talking, explained all the menu for us and even offered us a typical antipasti from Palermo! We had two pastas (one with sardines and one with mussels) that aren’t usually on the menu but they were serving them that day and were probably the best pastas we had during our stay in Italy!

If you are after a traditional family restaurant this is the place to go. I believe the father and son are front of house, the mother is in the kitchen with another cook. They have plenty of space in the venue and could squeeze more tables in however they haven't so they won't compromise on the quality. They explained the menu and gave us some traditional Street food for free which was very nice. We later tried this same street food the next day and it wasn't as nice as it was in the restaurant. We ate the swordfish pasta, the spaghetti bol, grilled prawns and the cheese cake. All of the dishes were amazing however if i had to choose what the highlights were, they would be the grilled prawns and the cheesecake. The prawns juiciest grilled prawns I have ever eaten. 10/10. The cheesecake was the best cheesecake I have ever eaten. It wasn't too sweet and had a light tang. 10/10. The son went out of his way to ask us and the other customers "How our time in Palermo has been". We asked where the street food markets are and he wrote them on a piece of paper.

Had a great experience here, would definitely be back if ever again in Palermo. Great food, and the service was impecable. Our guy was always smiling and very polite. They offered us pannele on the house. The restaurant is family owned from what I understood. The prices are really good and the food is delicious. Strongly recommend.

Highly recommended place. Great stuff, pleasant prices. But first of all is a taste of the dishes! It is amazing. I haven't ever eaten such tasty pasta like this. 😍

The seafood spaghetti was fantastic, cooked to perfection. The delicious sauce clinging to the pasta. Gino DiCampo could learn a lot from this venue.Service was brilliant, a full experience, interesting conversation, friendly, attentive owner and nephew. Food, wine, conversation, service, location totally faultless. A must visit !!! Now the negative.......its not open at weekend. I know we will struggle to match this venue.

I very rarely bother to leave a review, but this place deserves an exception. Palermo is famous for its food. Hence it is even more remarkable that we decided to have dinner twice at this place during our 2-day stay in the city. It was simply EXCELLENT. It is a simple and modest restaurant, with down-to-earth staff who are eager to please without any hint of pretense or fancy presentation. Everything we tried was as good or even better than any meal we had during our journey through Sicily, and we had plenty of great meals. It feels odd to write such a gushing review, and perhaps the place isn`t for everyone, but we absolutely loved it, and will remember our meals there very fondly. When we return to Palermo one day, this is where we will go for our first meal.

Must Visit!!!!! Hidden Gem! Best pasta in Palermo Best food we had In Palermo. Absolute gem of a place so sad we only found on our last night. Prebook if you can. We were lucky to get the last free seat but saw so many turned away. Really cheap and affordable, super friendly staff and delicious food. No matter how full you are order the cheesecake. You won't regret it.

We went there two times during our stay in Palermo, and both times were fantastic. The service was more than nice! The food was so delicious. I had the best cheesecake ever there. And the prices are more than fair. We will definitely visit again if we are in Palermo again.

The feeling of home cooking in Sicily. As two guests without a reservation we were delightfully welcomed in by a father and son team. They were friendly and warm, explaining the entire menu to us in English. The food was all delightful. The tomato salad was simple yet exceptional in its flavour and the pistachio pesto and gamberi fettuccines felt homely and delicious. For dessert we went with the cheesecake, based off other google recommendations, and we tasted what the fuss was about. The cake was perfectly balanced without being over complicated in its flavours. Thank you for the delicious meal and wonderful service.

Horrible service: this goes to the old man who runs front of the house that speak little English & just has a rotten attitude from start to finish. All the guests that were tended to by the younger fella who's multilingual were treated quite well but this old guy (who apparently from the young fellow is not his father...not sure what the relation is) has got a major chip on his shoulders. I try to give him the benefit of the doubt but from the moment he told me to go back to the front of the room after signaling me to follow him with the menu, to just saying "have the swordfish" without any humor at all, to the end asking me why i dind't have cash and wanted to pay with card. Food was just mediocre but the few times when the younger fella served the food it was pleasant and felt like he was genuinely interested in knowing about his diners, where they came from, and how they like the food. Not sure why the old man is put in front of the customer as it really degrades the whole dining experience. If you do visit, ensure you are waited on by the English speaking younger guy. Avoid the old man or you will walk out regretting even dining there.

Delicious!! This place is run by lovely elderly man together with his family (a grandson? Young guy speaking fluent English- very nice). They serve delicious pasta - every time they have some dishes that are not listed on the menu. We ordered pasta with shrimps and with sword fish - amazing! And do not miss the dessert - cheesecake with strawberries jam on top. They also give you a typical Sicilian snack to try as a starter - the so called panelle made from chickpea). We’ve visited this place many times and will come back again for sure :)

My girlfriend and I came and the pasta was honestly amazing. I would say some of the best pasta we have ever had, along with the best cheese cake ever. The service was amazing and they were ever so friendly. If you are in Palermo, then you are missing out if you do not come here. 10/10

Best place we ate at in Palermo!! You have to go here!! Great, lovely service. The food and atmosphere is very simple but in the best way. Ingredients were fresh and all the food was delicious. We were even given free appetizers (panelle) which were great. 100% recommend!

Best place to taste delicious well cooked food, in a really reasonable price. The atmosphere is traditional and the staff so friendly and nice. We ate pasta and fish, drinking local produced wine. Everything was perfect and taste homemade. We visited the place two times in a row.

Wow wow wow. We didn't expect to get such amazing place. The food is honest, without any fancy things on it, but the price paid was quite reasonable and the food was good. Also five stars for the service

Fresh & tasty food. What matters here is the restaurant staff wants to serve freshly made food like you are at their house, you can even taste the quality of the oil, they use for cooking, all fresh. Try pasta with seafood of the day. Must try place in Palermo City.

👍👍 Very service minded, we ordered 4 different and they just sat all of them on the same plate - we looked confused and the waiter just went - look here and on the button of the wrap the type was with a sticker - so simple. Taste is very special - the normal and BBQ was my favourites
