I
went
there
last
night
after
a
long
trip
to
come
to
Erice.
So,
I
arrived
hungry
and
with
a
wish
of
just
treating
me
to
a
nice
dinner.
The
place
is
beautifully
made
and
although
it
has
no
windows,
the
atmosphere
is
nice.
The
waiters
were
polite
but
one
could
tell
they
were
tired
and
not
in
their
best
mood.
Probably
due
to
the
long
season
tiredness
or
managers
mistakes.
The
bread
and
the
wine
were
exquisite,
although
I
opted
for
the
house
wine.
The
grilled
eggplants
were
half
grilled
and
lacked
of
any
seasoning.
Definitely
not
a
plate
one
should
bring
to
a
table.
There
was
a
mistake
in
the
order.
I
opted
for
the
fish
salumi
as
they
were
made
from
them
and
I
wanted
to
try
something
new,
a
plate
came
which
was
a
different
dish.
I
made
the
mistake
to
take
a
bite
before
checking
it
closely,
as
there
was
a
sauce
or
something
over
the
ingredients,
so
I
could
see
only
the
around
thing.
Anyhow,
I
asked
the
waiter
to
take
it
back
and
bring
what
I
asked
for.
He
insisted
I
asked
for
what
he
brought,
which
had
he
known
me
or
where
I
come
from,
he
would
have
known
I
would
never
go
for
frozen
shrimps
of
questionable
origin.
Anyhow,
they
brought
what
I
asked
and
on
the
bill
charged
fully
both.
During
the
brief
discussion
with
the
waiter,
as
he
said
I
should
have
taken
a
bite,
and
he
was
right
on
that,
I
told
him
that
I
could
take
over
the
cost
of
the
dish.
Instead,
they
charged
the
full
amount.
It
was
20
euro
for
that
dish.
They
put
it
on
a
doggy
bag,
I
left
it
there
as
I
never
wanted
it.
I
paid
the
full
amount
and
left.
The
manager
never
showed
up
to
address
the
matter.
The
manager
didn't
even
bother
to
balance
things.
I
had
no
written
order
in
my
hands
to
prove
my
point.
So,
after
a
long
day,
I
wouldn't
pick
up
a
fight
with
a
waiter
who
clearly
needed
a
break
and
was
not
to
be
blamed
for.
So,
to
sum
it
up.
If
the
cook
and
the
manager
change,
this
place
has
a
future.
