Accidentally came here on a cold, windy and foggy day in January. Literally couldn’t see 2 feet in front of you but saw people inside and had to get warm. What a mistake! The two people turned out to be the family that owned the place. Service was pathetic and we were the only ones there. I think they ran and got our food from a different location. The soup tasted like it came from a can. They staff was not friendly. Worst meal in all of Sicily.

The worst food in Sicily, Caponata made from caned tomato without any flavor. They even manged to made bad pizza. Run from this place

Really really bad service. Foreigners receive a worse treatment than the Italians even though Erice thrives from tourists. Do not go here!

I can only recommend to look for some other place to eat. Servants are extremely unfriendly and let you know that even taking your order is absolutely not what they want to do. Food doesn’t even deserves one star. I’m still wondering how you can actually cook pasta that bad. On the other side prices are higher than in 90 % of Italian restaurants in Germany and at least double the prices of Sicilian standards. To sum it up: worse food at the highest prices we had in Sicily. Sad but true...

Incredibly good and smooth cous cous with seafood and fish soup as a sauce. My bf had a great pizza. Highly recommended. Great friendly service as well.

I didn't really dislike this restaurant in comparison to a lot of reviews present here. Me and a couple of friends ate here recently and we all ate well. Luckily, this is one of the few restaurants that doesn't close too early during lunch, which is something to take into account whenever travelling to Southern Italy. It was serviceable and enjoyable as a whole. 3.5/5

Tasty arrancini and friendly staff. The location is perfect.

We enjoyed the egg and cheese omelette, fries and tuna salad. They weren’t offering pizza at lunchtime that day. Be aware, the “hot cocoa” is more like warm pudding rather than the a liquid drink of hot chocolate. We were there in the off season, February, and were so grateful that they were open.

I do not understand the bad reviews. Some competitor maybe wants this place eliminated? We had fast service, good drinks, veil steak and calamari. All totally worth it!

Don't go there. Me and my partner both ordered pasta with meat ragu, expected flat broad pasta but got big spaghetti. At first they only brought one dish, so my boyfriend ate white the lady made another one and I waited. no apologies. Saw her pass by several times with plastic containers so am pretty sure the sauce was just heated up. Tasted very bland as well. Pastries were obviously not fresh, the refrigerator boxes were in the fridge right next to our table. Awful experience

We took Aperol Spritz and caffe il banco. We did not took anything to eat as it wasn’t looking much convincing. But drinks were ok

Perfect location but a/ the worst ice cream I've ever had in Italy, and I really mean it and I've had quite some ice-cream experience there ;) b/ the waiter (owner) was unfriendly and, last but not least, c/ he tried to charge us more by playing with the bill, changimg it three times and, finally, not apologizing whatsoever for the mistake! A terrible experience in an otherwise beautiful town...

Limoncello, granita limone, montereci, amaro - dilutted with water. Incredible that Italians can cheat.

The service was verry poor, had to wait 10min before getring a menu. Even tho the waiter saw me looking at him several times. I took a pizza. Simple. But the pizza tasted like frozen pizza from home. Not at all mike sicilian pizzas i have been eating this trip

Price for sandwiches totally not worth the experience.

Food and speed of service was OK. Staff politeness and competence only worth one star though.
