Easily the best meal I've had in sicily. The chef is the owner, and he cares more than a neurosurgeon saving his own kids life. The pasta, antipasto, calamari and dessert were all top notch cookery. Surprises were always there and always pleasant. In a town that has some heavy hitting restaurants, on an island where food is life and death important, this place takes flavour as seriously as a loan shark collecting a late payment. This place pays off huge.

Great food and service, but for 5 stars we missed something extra. The portion were neither small nor big as well as the prices. The ambience did not suit me and the music as well.

After reading reviews on here we took a 20 minute walk to this place and it was worth it! Nice atmosphere and super friendly owner who explained all of the dishes to us. Food is super but the owner made the experience complete and made us feel really welcome.

This is possibly one of the best restaurants in Naples. If you're looking for a place that respects the tradition while also re-inventing it, this is the place! The staff is experienced, warm and funny, the prices are low considering the quality of the food (try and go to Northern Italy and you'll see the difference in prices for the same, at times lower, quality). Suggestion: have a chat with Marcellino and Marco (head waiter and chef) they are the heart and soul of this place.

We found this place by accident but it was the best restaurant we’ve been to in Sicily! The staff was very friendly and there is no word to describe the food!! Thats how good it was. When we were there we found ourselves amongsts only local people and there were three guys playing old Italian songs that everybody in the restaurant was singing along to.
