Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Nice pool. Clean room. The staff in the reception/pool bar all speak English. ☀️ We wanted to go up on the mountain to see the Belvedere (lookout), so we asked if they could help us book a taxi. Instead, one of the hotel owners offered to drive us there himself. Very appreciated! 😍 We're super happy with our five night stay at Marina di Petrolo, in beautiful Castellammare del Golfo! ⛱️

The hotel and staff are wonderful. The staff is exceptional. They even found me a hair stylist so I could have my hair done for a wedding. The breakfast is great with many selections to choose from and the view from the breakfast room is beautiful. We would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Very nice, modern and welcoming interiors. Beautiful infinity pool. Exceptionally clean. Breakfast just amazing - definitely much more than Italian standard. But what I liked the most were people. Nice, friendly, helpfully. Because of them my vacation was just perfect.

Great hotel. Clean and delicious buffet breakfast!! Room with balcony is worth it. Front desk is super helpful and recommended amazing restaurants, a winery, and helped get a taxi to the airport. Would go back! Amazing view from pool and easy walk into town! We had a triple room - smaller bed is a twin. Need to ask them to make the bed for you and provide linen.

I would not recommend staying here rude and unprofessional. I and my friend had decided to stay here but unfortunately, I arrived while my friend was on his delayed flight over from London with the booking details. Needless to say, I arrived and asked nicely if I could leave my bags at the front desk. There were two young personnel there that agreed to host my bags while I’ll wait for my friend to arrive. I grabbed a drink at the bar and asked if I could stay at the pool while I waited they said that was ok. I made sure to not use the pool just to make sure that they did not presume that I was just there to use the pool. I went up to charge my phone and I was met with the “manager” who insisted that I would show my booking confirmation. I explained that my friend had the booking details and that he was still on his flight. I went back to my sunbed to relax and wait for my friend. After 10 min the manager comes out again and I once more explain that I don’t know the booking details. She insists that I would leave the pool within 10 minutes. Of course, I found that rather unnecessary but I still agreed and left for the front desk ones more. Thereafter she made sure to give back my bags and I asked if I could stay at the entrance while I waited she reluctantly agreed. For someone that travels for a living, I can say that this would never happen at a 4 or 5-star hotel. I’ve been in this situation countless times and I’ve never gotten treated with this kind of judgement and rudeness. Thank goodness for the consigliere at American Express who sent a taxi to pick up my friend and rebooked for another stay. I still recommend castamere the golfo just avoid this hotel.

This was the best hotel experience in all of Italy. 5 stars to the staff and the owner that were all very friendly and attentive. Clean rooms and modern amenities.

Amazing place to stay! Beautiful sea view, tasty food and the staff was so friendly, especially Rosalina ☺️ They also offer wellnes and spa centre which is excellent. Highly recommend!

Lovely staff, great breakfast in a room with fabulous views. Clean and welcoming hotel. Disappointed with the self catering apartment - sea view was over a car park/ building site and the pool area was closed.

Lovely modern hotel. Building work next door so a bit noisy! Ideal position for walking and food. Not very convenient to go anywhere if you don't have a car. No regular bus or trains!

We had a room with the view!!! Staff is very friendly and pleasant, room is spacious and very clean. Breakfast room also has an amazing view. Easy parking.

Beautiful place to stay and the staff was so accommodating- they got us early check in and even packed a breakfast for us when we had to leave before breakfast to get to the airport. Would 100% recommend this place to friends and family!

The breakfast was amazing and so fresh every day and the staff at breakfast, especially Gabriella, were so helpful. The rooms are spotless as is the whole hotel. The pool is relaxed and we never had a problem getting 4 sun beds together every time we needed them. The entire vibe in the hotel is happy and friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back here if we come to Sicily again.

My wife and I got married in Castellamare del Golfo and needed an accommodation for us and our closest guests who are used to a certain standard. After much research and visiting of other hotels in the area (prior to our wedding visit) we decided upon Marina di Petrolo. I can say, without any hesitation, that we made the best decision. Francesco and his staff were so welcoming and accommodating both prior to our stay and throughout. The staff was so friendly, from the reception, to the breakfast, to the spa, even room service. Their attention to detail is unmatched. The rooms were clean, modern, well maintained and spacious. The breakfast was fantastic, with a beautiful view over the coast. The spa facilities were clean, with professional staff. With most of our family staying at the hotel, the pool (and poolside bar) was the perfect spot to cool off under the warm Sicilian sun. The location of the hotel was very central, yet away from the loud street noises that other guests (staying at other hotels) experienced. Francesco and his staff were extremely accommodating and efficient with shuttle and transport services (no easy task with a group our size). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Castellamare del Golfo, and my wife and I will absolutely be back. Grazie mille! Nabil & Sabrina

A super boutique hotel with a great fantastic team - always smiling and helpful. Location benefits a superb view of the bay from its infinity pool, as do many of the rooms, as well as close proximity of some excellent restaurants. Facilities are very good - and even offers a wellness/fitness centre. Thoroughly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Most of the staff were really friendly and accommodating and the complimentary breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The views from the balcony were great and I used the spa services while there which were excellent. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed, despite saying it was open year round on the website.

Had a fantastic holiday here. Super convienient location, staff are great, lovely accomodation. Pool is a good size and not overcrowded for the size of the hotel which is a big plus. Has parking for guests off street. The spa is lovely as well. Could not recommend this place more.

Still our favorite by far and amazing value. It's proximity to PMO airport and easy highway access for day trips make it perfect for renting a car. Parking is easy and gated at night. Great breakfast and quick scenic walk to the city center. Can't wait to go back thanks!

This is one the best (if not the best) hotel we have stayed at in Europe. Everything about this hotel, from the welcome at the airport(paid extra for transfer) to the large metal sunbeds, shout quality. The rooms are large, well decorated, well equipped, have efficient air con and large comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the views certainly give you the wow factor especially in the breakfast room and from the far end of the pool. The photos on the website do not do this hotel justice as the whole place is spotless and the linen in the room have that just fresh just washed clean smell. This hotel is exceptional value for money, we would highly recommend it and look forward to a return visit

Amazing view, great location, close to PMO airport, I loved the infinity pool and jacuzzi, perfectly clean, modern style. On the top of everything, the stuff is adorable, so welcoming, always ready to help and very flexible, anticipating clients needs - which is a rare feature. I had a great positive feeling while staying there and I am looking forward so much to be back there - I even consider the option of renting a flat from them and stay over for some weeks. Miss Rosaria and Mr. Francesco are the most lovable people that I have ever met in hospitality - and I do travel a lot! I will recommend it to all my friends who want to visit Sicily. Thank you!
