I would give this place zero stars but it was very clean. If you like pretentious wannabes this is the place for you. I called ahead and spoke with a gentleman on the phone. He spoke of a free tour/trial. When I arrived approximately 20 minutes later a male with a very, very, very similar voice professed to not being aware of such a deal. Front desk not aware of what’s on the website? Selective marketing? Bait and switch? In any case it shows how unprofessional the staff feels they can be. The short overweight female with whom I spoke did not even try to connect me with a salesperson. I was willing to pay upfront. Just really ignorant staff unable to distinguish between a potential customer and a visitor. Here’s a hint, talk to the person and find out more about. By doing so you can weed out the dilettantes. In addition, the cleaning staff felt it was OK to try and stare me down. The cleaning staff! I have paid more at clubs on the East Coast. Those clubs were worth the price. This place is just a waste of effort and time.

I'm going to have to agree with P Vine, the previous reviewer. I went into the gym and did the tour with a salesperson. After the tour he said I would have a free pass to come in to experience the gym whenever I wanted. He said I just had to come in and mention that I had taken the tour with him. I came back a few days later, excited to sign myself and my sister up after using the promised free pass. The front desk told me that they were going to have to speak with the manager, Alex, since the salesperson was not in. Alex didn't come out to speak with me personally and sent the front the person to tell me that he did not approve my day pass. I asked to speak with him and was told to wait. I could see that he was just chatting and it was obvious that he was making us wait. Not only did he not speak to me personally when the issue arose he also made it a point to not speak to me when I asked to speak with him. A 25 dollar pass is nothing when I'm willing to pay over 200 dollars a month for 2 memberships but I felt so disrespected I refuse take my business there. Good luck with business with management like that.

The gym is great! I love it but I don’t like how they are not upfront about the trainers. I selected this gym bc I was having a hard time finding a trainer. We toured the gym and since my main reason was for a trainer we were told we couldn’t speak to them until we got a membership. Got the membership and the day I got my assessment with a trainer which the gym selects for you. Was told I had to pay for the sessions that day for the special to apply. The young lady was nice and I’m sure she will do a good job but I don’t decide which trainer would be best for me? Then was told I could train with another trainer but I would have to pay for that session! What??!! Maybe it’s me but I figured I would have the right to select my trainer without any additional charge. If that’s your policy okay but be upfront about it. Sneaky

Do not join. I have been at the gym since I was 15 (when it was total fitness) and rejoined when it was M Club. After sustaining a leg injury, the staff were both unhelpful and rude regarding and would not cancel my contract. This is a breach in contract law and advice of the The Competition and Markets Authority. I provided them with appointment letters etc to prove this. I have now managed to cancel my contract - obviously with a further payment because they are quick to take the money but not so eager when you do have a problem. I would like to point out that the gym has good facilities - however, this is a true and substantiated review when I sustained an injury.

Disappointed with management! Had to cancel my debit card because it was hacked, right around the time Kinnective auto-billed my cancelled card. I called them ONE DAY after the due date and changed the billing info to my new card. That is when they informed me I would receive $23 late fee. Management refused to remove the late charge, inconsiderate to say the least. Sad that a nice gym like Kinective is willing to have their name tarnished and lose potential future customers over a 23 bucks. I expressed my disappointment to front desk personnel and they would only relay the management's rejection of my request, they didn't bother talking to me.

Gym and pool member for just over a year from Nov 2017 to Jan 2019. Never encountered so much incompetence from members of staff in all the gyms I've ever been in. Changing rooms have privacy curtains removed for families without warning, pool sub standard and doesn't seem to be cleaned regularly, showers are a health hazards for children as drains simply fly off when stood on leaving sharp metal and gaping hole exposed. Some members of staff are disingenuous and most are unhelpful and rude. Bar / cafe rarely manned. Equipment is ok in gym, and instructor led classes are good. Not worth what you pay for though. Better Gym? Pure Gym. Better pool? Horizons. Better package for gym and pool for kid? Dimensions have £22 a month for all hours access to gym and pool for kids. Plus has a play area too as well as a decent place to sit and have a coffee.

Please do not give this gym any of your money, a waste of time and classes get cancelled, plus they delete all the negative reviews on Facebook! I've dealt with both Debbie and Julie and they are so arrogant and rude, the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life!!

They have a fixed contract that takes a year before you can cancel even if you cannot use the gym anymore and then when you are able to cancel they still take another month payment from you even though your not allowed to use the gym

I’ve been attending the Kinective fitness center for nearly a month now and I initially enjoyed the facility until I noticed that there had been some strange experiences that began to grow my concern. I noticed that when it came to being greeted at the door there was a little to no interest in personally greeting me by my name, or anything of that nature. Yet I did notice that the other non-African-American Clients were treated significantly different. This mistreatment was only the beginning of a series of concerning situations. I began to notice that I would be followed all around the locke rooms. Bags would be strategically placed right next to my locker almost as if to monitor what my locker had in it. I ignored it until I began to feel a significant concern for my personal safety. I began to feel as if I was being studied by the members at the gym. I attended one Wednesday and it happened to be for a yoga class at 10:55 am. While being there I noticed that people almost couldn’t control themselves in regards to my outward appearance. I then went on with the rest of my routine that day, and the keys to my Mercedes Glk were, a floral scarf, crystal necklace, water bottle, and Sandals were stolen right out of my locker. Upon requesting from the staff members if any of them had seen ANY of the items they all had dumbfounded appearances and proceeded to question if I myself was ok and needed any help. They began to pretend as if they did not even know who I was. With all my things that began going missing I genuinely felt that I would be the next missing individual. I spent over 4hours there waiting for any of the items to show up. Nothings ever did and it reached the point were I began feeling a large amount of concern for my personal safety. I have a strong feeling that Kinective Fitness center is a massive money Laundering organization and the owners may in fact be a front for who may actually be running the organization. Oddly enough this all began occurring after I had a body scan done at the facility. It would incredibly odd if there was any kind of trafficking that may be occurring at the facility itself.

I was just rudely accosted by an employee, Chelsea, at the front desk. My daughter has the Edge Total membership. This allows one guest to accompany her (i.e me). As we walk in my daughter opens her app and scans her membership code. Immediately after, an employee loudly asks me if I have a membership. I explained that I am my daughter's guest. The employee (Chelsea) raises her voice louder and states that she needs to see my ID before I can workout with my daughter. She then turns to my daughter and asks if she has a membership that allows guests. My daughter scanned her membership code in front of her on our way in! Employee further explained that I must leave my ID at the front desk when I come with my daughter to work out and pick it up on my way out the door. My daughter has had her membership since December and we were never told about this ID policy. I don't have any qualms with policy. What I object to is being treated like a criminal. During the discussion the employee went from loud talking to shouting the same phrase over and over. It's not crowded today so it's safe to say she was on the verge of making a scene. I felt very uncomfortable. She asked another employee to help check me in. The second employee was able to explain the ID policy in a lower tone which helped but employee Chelsea was still at the desk shouting the same phrases over and over as the other employee was checking my ID. This was not only disrespectful but also inappropriate. It felt like Chelsea was purposefully drawing attention to my daughter and I. Overall, this gym needs a better check in system/policy that is more inclusive and doesn't make their guests feel like criminals.

More kids than waterworld in the pool at 5pm in the school holidays! Okay its lessons but in both lanes and the vale lads in the main bit, I pay £42 per month and can't get a decent swim unless I go between 9-5, when im at work! I may as well join Newcastle for half the price because all this is place cares about is getting more money out of members! :(

The PROMISES of an upscale gym was exaggerated. I signed up back in January paid my membership as stated in the contract. The times I stepped foot in the gym the 3 floor hadn’t been finished and I still signed up because they kept saying two weeks, one more month blah blah. Granted I still paid my membership unfortunately I can’t ever do a full workout if one machine isn’t down it’s 5. Classes are always full can’t get a constant class scheduled. Membership is 100 to walk into something always wrong with the gym. the cancellation fee is 200. Not worth the 120$ membership

I absolutely love this gym and their members. I’ve been a member of other gyms for decades but Kinective Fitness is definitely the best. Don’t be intimidated by the size. Kinective has great sale reps that show you how the equipment works and show you the endless possibilities of classes. The instructors are phenomenal and take the time to make sure you understand the class and/or the equipment but most importantly they make sure you enjoy your workout. The equipment is top of the line equipment and heart rate monitors are provided if you choose to monitor your heart as you workout. I’ve met so many great people during my workouts that it keeps me motivated to come back. I can’t post on my favorite class because I jump around throughout my week between circuit (orange room; same concept as orange theory….just more affordable), skill runs, cycling, and body pump. Oh, there’s also a track on the roof!! I promise you won’t be disappointed! -Molly_Marshal One more thing!! The entire staff is friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cleaning crew. Your treated like royalty! Can’t beat Kinective Fitness! 💪🏼

Weights, cardio, cycling, yoga, pilates, meditation, fitness classes and even an awesome rooftop to relax and watch the sunset. This is definitely the BEST fitness club in El Paso and ANYWHERE! UPDATE - I reached out to the email provided in response to my review and the Edge refunded both the month that was taken out and my personal training credits. The agent I worked with was helpful and easier to deal with than ABC financials. —————————- The gym itself is very nice and clean and the staff (for the most part) are professional and courteous. Their sales team can be pushy. The reason for my one star review is that they are HORRIBLE when trying to cancel a membership. In the midst of a global pandemic with an egregious death toll, you would assume the gym would be more lenient with their policies. It was my full intention to cancel for the time being as I have an autoimmune disorder and am not risking my health to "work out" in a public space, and return once it was safe. Their standard cancellation policy allows for cancellation if you move within 15 miles from all club locations and/or are a college student. They also allow for a Medical cancellation if you can show proof of a medical disability or if your physician provides a letter stating you are not allowed to workout for six months or longer. After several email exchanges explaining that in the midst of a pandemic they should reconsider their policy for those who can prove an autoimmune disorder, I opted to reach out to my physician (and continue to overwhelm a health system that has more important things to take care of then a ridiculous letter). My PCP provided a letter clearly stating that I was unable to workout for the next six months or until the pandemic was over; I submitted this letter to the RIDICULOUS third party they use. The one agent (names are never displayed so you don't know the customer agent you are communicating with), said it was approved. A few weeks later I looked at my bank account and noticed I was charged again, I followed up with the third party to confirm my cancellation and they attempted to back-track on their response and say that the letter was not sufficient. At this point I was baffled by their unprofessionalism and had to copy and paste their own cancellation policy into the email and ask them if they are no longer complying with their own policies. Apparently this agent confirmed cancellation, but I guess I will have to wait until next month to see if they will try and play the same game again. Additionally, the club was not willing to reimburse the personal training credits I have and I am unable to use them without a membership. I will never pursue a membership at this gym given the horrible experience I have had in the midst of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Some people are comfortable going to the gym, and that's great because I understand that those who work at the gym need to make a living, however as an individual with a high risk of falling extremely ill and/or dying if I contract the virus, I am not willing to risk my health. Given that my cancellation was for MEDICAL purposes, the gym should be understanding with reimbursements. I even suggested a partial reimbursement. At this point there is nothing I can do other than lose my money because I am not able to use the personal training without a membership (and I would not enroll in a membership), I can't receive a reimbursement (not even a partial one, and my only potential option is to transfer those credits to another member (which I will no longer do because I would not recommend this gym to anyone-which is a shame because I had recommended this gym in the past with the disclosure that their sales team is pushy and tries to up-sell everything). In conclusion, I would NOT enroll in this gym because they are not considerate of this odd time in history we are in , and they will not care for your health. They prefer to continue to take your money than work with you to ensure your health is a priority (ironic).

Too many young gym rats posting selfies and videos occupying machines while making videos. It's SO bothersome because I'm waiting to use the equipment and their too busy making duck faces on their phone. No gym etiquette. Also I thought because of the price of the membership it would be a more professional crowd but it's not, it's a younger social media crowd.

When I verbally told the staff I wanted the membership canceled they looked confused like they didn't know how to do their own jobs. No one else is responsible for your health and wellness except for you. I struggled with the motivation to go to the gym or exercise consistently at other places but at Kinective I have been consistently going since January 2021. The atmosphere is great. The staff are helpful. I love the options in the classes they offer so that I never get bored. The amenities are top notch consistent with a spa feel. There is a wide variety of equipment to meet any skill level. Joining Kinective has been a lifestyle change and well worth the price for feeling good about yourself!

I look forward to going to Kinective every morning. It is a very comfortable place and there are so many kind inspiring people there. The front desk staff is always there to help and very knowledgeable in many questions that I’ve asked. The CrossFit and Spin classes are my favorite by far. The amenities in the gym are amazing. The sauna and steam room are the best for post workouts. The locker rooms are top notch and have so much space. I have really loved being a member at Kinective.

Pros: The gym floor for the most part is extremely clean and machines left loaded are minimal. They have a good selection of equipment and work out options. They have tons of classes and social events so that's fun. If you need a personal trainer that are many qualified professionals to help you achieve your goals. Cons: On multiple occasions the front desk and been rude and oblivious irritated when asked questions. Many of the machines only adjust in one position so there can be a limited range of motion on the machines. Many of the people on the gym floor specifically in the free weight area do not follow proper gym etiquette and lack mutual respect for others and there really is not a gym culture or camaraderie, but that's subject. One negative thing to note; never have ever had something stolen from gym except here, the items were left unattended for less than a minute, while I understand that is out of the control of the facility with a membership fee of over $100 I would not expect something like to happen and the staff to blow it off saying "maybe it show up later". I recommend getting a day pass and trying it out for your self, this facility can be just what you're looking for however for me it was not a good fit for me and the cancelation cost with notice is about $400+ , I deeply regret signing up here.

I absolutely love Kinective! The amenities are huge, beautiful and clean. I never want to leave. I love all of the classes, esp yoga and body pump! I’ve made so many new connections at this gym too, which is great for me since I didn’t know that many people in El Paso anymore. I’m also very impressed with their non-profit program that they do every so often, KIN. They definitely are doing a lot for the community. I really appreciate the staff, Kraig, Arlene, & Brandee are amazing. They always answer any of my questions with patience. Super happy to be apart of the Kinective family! Thanks guys.

I am so excited for this gym to open soon! The facility itself is so great and they have some of the best fitness equipment I've seen at any gym in El Paso. From what I've read, you'll be able to get stats on your workouts straight from the equipment to your phone so I'm super excited to see how that works. The rooftop is insane, not only can you run on the track, but they're going to have a bar area! Also, don't get me started on the view, they are creating a really cool vibe up there. Lastly, they have amenities for DAYS and they're taking COVID precautions seriously. They have some of the most high-tech anti-COVID systems I've seen in any establishment in El Paso, this includes their showroom. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is interested in multiple areas of fitness, but also values having a community in their fitness life. Take a tour with them if you can to see it all for yourself!

As someone who has lived in multiple cities, I have had the opportunity to try many different gyms and I can honestly say that Kinective is by far the most comprehensive, cleanest, and all around top-notch facility that I have been a member of. A gym of this caliber can easily charge more for the value that they provide. All of their equipment is state-of-the-art. The highly customizable and diverse programs that are available are great for all different levels whether you are an experienced athlete or a newcomer to the gym setting. The friendly staff make you feel right at home and are happy to help with any questions. Lastly, I have to include in my review that there is a cafe inside of Kinective that serves some of the best tasting AND healthiest food that I have had and I brought a friend in with me recently to verify and she agreed. She ended up taking two more orders to go.

So here is the deal. I followed my husband military order and move to ft Bragg for his new duty station. I called ABC Financial to cancel my membership due to no location available in North Carolina. I was told that my account would be charge for the last month of 12 dollars then it would be canceled. 1 month later my account was finally pending canceled but I was charged an additional 28 dollar with no clear explanation. Avoid this kind of club at all cost.

They won’t let anyone cancel the membership during COVID. You don’t have to pay for 3 months and then pay more monthly after that to pay for those 3 months. You are stuck in a contract for a year. It’s a shame because I really liked this gym.

The gym itself: Spectacular. The staff is pretty friendly, the workout equipment is good. There are a lot of cool features that the club has. But the company and the business engages in skeevy business practices. When I signed up, I signed up for the 1 year contract, and told them to not auto renew. I looked on my account and the worker who signed me up set it to auto renew. I called the club and asked them to change it, which they then gave me the runaround and told me I had to call their financial company - ABC financial. So I did just that. I got a call center representative and he also gave me the runaround - even though he was perfectly able to change the auto renew on his end, he told me that I needed to send a written notice in to the company via email. I then asked him why I need to send an email communication, which is slower, when I'm on the phone with him right now? More runaround "This is the procedure of the club and I can't go against it." I sent in the email request which I'm absolutely positive will be intentionally not processed until after the contract renews again, which will force me to either pay another year + fees or pay the exit cost of the contract. I've read the other reviews about how this gym does sneaky financial things with the billing and chose to take a chance and overlook it, and now I can say that all of those reviews are absolutely legit and you should not enter into an agreement with this club. The gym itself? Fantastic place. The company that owns it? Liars, thieves, and extortioners hiding behind the faces of friendly salespeople. More than anything, I supremely didn't appreciate the "hot potato" treatment everybody I spoke with gave me regarding this matter. 2 star because: As I said, the gym is a great place and decent environment. Edit: Tip for anyone else trying to cancel their auto-renewal or any other cancellation: The call center will hold onto the contract tooth and nail, and will do everything they can to give you the runaround and give you excuses why they can't process it. The call center rep isn't able to hang up on you, so as long as you stay on the line, they'll be forced to deal with you. They will do small tricks such as: putting you on excessive hold times, giving you the runaround. The rep I talked to tried to change the subject and divert the topic. She even outright lied to me about the date the contract started, to which I told her I have the information right in front of me and that she's lying. They'll ask you to send an email as a 'written request." Do so, and when you send in the email to cancel the auto renew, call them back immediately and ask the representative to process it. If they tell you they can't, ask them for an email from them that the contract will have auto renew disabled and/or an end date. It's legally binding and the company has to honor it. Wait on the line for them to send the email and don't let them off the hook until you receive the email. Also, check the wording of the email. The first email I got was that "the request to cancel auto renew was received" but did not mention anything about it being honored. After another 10 minutes of carefully chosen words and her putting me on hold for 5 of those minutes, she did eventually send the email that included the ending date of the contract. Wait on the line until you get the email, and check that the email is properly written as you requested. The representative will do everything in their power to convince you to hang up, but don't until you get what you came for. It took me 47 minutes to get the representative to do all of this, something that is possible in about 5 minutes at the absolute most. Stay on the line, stay vigilant, and stay on point. Edit 2: Culled some of the review to put this: If you're trying to get them to stop stealing your money, go on their portal site. Change your card/bank information to a nonexistant card, dead card, OR a gift card. 1111111111111111 (16 1's) works for a card number. They'll be unable to process the payment due to the card not actually existing.

Trying to cancel my membership has been a nightmare ... you can’t force people to come to the gym when they don’t feel comfortable due to COVID. Stay Far away from this Gym. I will finish my contract not because I want to but because you have made it difficult to cancel. I will Make it my mission to tell everyone I know And share on social media to not sign up for your gym. They value money over people.

The gym is completely overpriced. Good luck trying to cancel. They do not respect what cancel means. Valet parking. Like really? It's a gym. Staff is too good for their members. This place is ridiculous for a gym that overcharges and treats it paying customers the way that they do.

I love this gym. Extremely clean, machines are always running. Finally after several months I can have a coffee after my work out! The only complaint I have is people parking in the charging spots without charging or not even an electric car!!!! Otherwise would be 5 stars.

Amazing gym! This is the best gym anyone can go to. Love the environment it really motivates me to work out. The guy sold me the membership was named Xander and if you are interested in a membership I highly recommend seeing him. He is very passionate about what he does and will explain how the gym will help you meet your goals.

Kinective is a not so hidden gem on the westside of El Paso! I have being a member for 2 years now. The front staff is always welcoming and friendly. I decide to get the membership because of Metcon classes. Blanca Reyna is a one of a kind instructor. She is very knowledgeable and is eager to help everyone who joins her class. I enjoy their Surge classes! If you want to get your sweat on! They have a one of kind indoor cycling studio. You can choose from spinning, to rhythm ( almost dancing in the bike) and The trip class by Les Mills! I am hooked on cycling at the moment. Robert Martinez is one of the instructors and I absolutely love his classes! Other classes that I have tried are Hot yoga! Yoga on the rooftop ( a favorite of mine!), Barre, Pilates, ladyfit ( women only classes) and so much more! Once you become a member you can enjoy the sauna and the steam room as well as the massaging chairs in the locker rooms! The Cafe is really good too, my daughter and I enjoy a smoothie after a hard workout. Last but not least, I did a deep tissue massage which I really enjoyed. The masseuse listen to what I need it and he didn’t not disappoint! I am very please with Kinective:)

I’m thrilled that we have such a high quality gym right in the neighborhood. Class instructors, whether yoga, kick-boxing, body pump etc. run high quality classes from start to finish and they start on time and end on time. The place is super clean, availability of free weights and machines top notch. You’re greeted at the door, staff are friendly and professional. I’ve been a member at a lot of gyms, this is my favorite by far.

She gave a very detailed summary of the classes they offer, as she guided me around the facility. She also had answers for all my questions regarding the memberships they offer. I had an excellent experience at this gym.

Now I can't even work out do to the hour changes, no showers, no sauana, wear a mask, etc. This is NOT what people signed up for. I know you guys didn't pass these crazy guidelines but you should LET PEOPLE CANCLE because of these changes. It is not what I signed up for. Now you are stealing my money.

I have been a member for 12 years, first when the gym was owned by Total Fitness and then reopened by M-Club. I live in Keele and it is convenient, has great parking and a good range of equipment, a 25 m pool, sauna, steam etc. The gym is spacious, light and airy and reasonably quite. They can struggle: the music policy was dreadful, the changing rooms are being updated but the schedule slipped by many months, the TV's on machines may not get a signal but hey, they do respond as well as they can to requests. As for the staff, they are just fine. I lost my wallet a few weeks ago and had it returned to me through my gym who acted as a point of contact with the guy who found it (with my gym card in it). They went the extra mile to help, now that is good service.

When i asked if they would work with me on the cancellation fee, they said no. Anyone looking to get a membership here, this place is way over priced and will not work with you if situations in your life arise..... Think twice about doing business with this establishment!!!

TL:DR Rude people. Sketchy business ethics. Incomplete / mixed weight plate sets. This is not a club. Management thinks their members are a bunch who pay their dues no matter what. At the very least poor member communication and extremely dubious business ethics. Culture is extremely snobby by design. There’s a lululemon store inside, so use that to picture it. It’s cardio and cult fitness oriented (think crossfit, spinning, zumba). Never took a class or personal training, so can’t speak to that. Main space is covered by cable machines and a big crossfit space. Hundreds of dumbbells for some reason, but only two racks with safeties. One thing about plates: no one rack has a complete set—so you will need to go around to find the weight you’re looking for. There are same weight plates that are different size, type, brand. Don’t know what the deal is if it’s a brand new gym. The first day I was there, I noticed some lockers were marked as taken. Others were marked as available, and others were unmarked. When I asked about available lockers no one could give me a clear answer. Not a huge problem, since there are ~15 lockers open for use. I can just lug my stuff around, not a big deal; but definitely made me feel wrong as it was just offered to me before paying membership fees. Showers are not nearly cold enough considering the steam and sauna. I cannot stress enough how it does not make sense to not have an ice cold shower paired with the hot rooms. I prefer hot rock sauna and it’s the single thing I signed up for. Its proper heating system worked ok even with the massive gap on the bottom of the door. A towel on the floor failing to cover it up every single day. Yesterday, I found the sauna rock heating sink gone. Apparently not coming back because people were dumping water on the hot rocks, and the steam can damage the wood. Hot rock saunas are meant for controlled steam. Yes, eventually you’ll have to shell out to replace the wood, but that’s even without the steam. I never saw a “no water dumping” sign yet they remove the thing without notice. What are they doing with that equipment? It’s all wrong.

Excellent gym and facilities. Very clean. Excellent equipment. Friendly coaches, trainers and staff. Tons of great classes to choose from with lots of class times to choose from. More pricier than most gyms, but if you take advantage of the group classes and facilities, it more than makes up for the price (as compared to the same from other facilities).

We can all agree, the gym is beautiful. There’s nothing like it in El Paso, and I already recommend this place. How could I not. And! I’ve loved all the classes I’ve attended so far. The steam room alone, does it for me. I love it. The staff at front are always so friendly and helpful. The one thing that bothers me about this gym, and it really bothers me, is gym etiquette. It seems like it almost doesn’t exist here. I’ve had people, including the instructor, nearly step over me or brush up against me during workouts. It’s dangerous! Especially if I’m in the middle of lifting something heavy. I stay as close to the side as I can so I’m not in the way, but once the “CrossFit” class starts, they totally disregard your space, they act like you aren’t even there, again, to include the instructor. There’s no, “hey guys, I know it’s a tight space but please be mindful of the people around you”. It makes for an alarming and uncomfortable environment. I haven’t experienced this at any other gym. People are usually aware and considerate of other people so as to avoid a possible injury, and they tend to be friendly and extremely helpful. I have yet to experience that here at this gym.

I noticed Iliana Chacon was working there. She worked at EP Fitness and got fired due to started rumors and stating false accusations! Then she went to Tru-Fit and started a whole mess over there, where she was fired because of her awful leadership. She would text clients where my friend showed me. Take people credit cards and literally sign for them. By law you can’t sign a contract for someone else. I tried canceling my membership there and I couldn’t. She screwed me over. Now she’s at this gym. I won’t be signing up here! My friends won’t be!! Lease get rid of her! She’s full of drama!!!!! What a waste!!!

In one single month they took 223 dollars from my bank account. My membership supost to be 32. 33 the most. I was instructed to sign up for the Voorhees location at the deptford location. The club stated they would switch the home gym once opened. Now that Covid hit, they are not opening the Voorhees location until 2021. The kids club is not open and I am unable to go to the gym without childcare and restricted hours. They will only allow a 3 month freeze, and not cancel the membership with this huge inconvenience. Very poor customer service in regards to not being passive with the scenarios that have come up with COVID. The club can not provide a full service that was originally agreed to.

Beautiful gym, the barre class is the best! The only downfall is their class policy you have a 12 hour window or you get charged, which I think is a little excessive and considering it was not in the original policy when I signed up 🤷🏻‍♀️. But the facility is new and clean.

Nice gym. Equipment is new and there is enough for everyone. My biggest gripe is the way the gym is treating Covid. While required to wear a mask while "not actively working out", such as while walking around, in the locker rooms, etc., it has been my observation since joining that this rule is NEVER enforced. I would say roughly half of the people in the gym at any given time never even bother to put their mask on. I also don't see the point in removing mask requirements for people who are huffing and puffing away on the cardio machines. My old gym required masks from when you came in to when you left and zealously enforced cleaning before/after. There were some gripes, but for the most part everyone dealt with it just fine. Surely, the people at Kinective know that this is possible, but for whatever reason, they have decided not to take Covid seriously. Also, FWIW, they play the music in the gym WAY too loud. This is a general gripe I have about all gyms, but I've never been in KFC when it wasn't super loud. With 90%+ of people inside wearing headphones, I never understand why gyms do this.

My daughter organised for her birthday party to be held here. It was a joint 18th & 21st. The staff were incredible and helping us achieve what we envisaged. The theme was FAIRYTALE and the chef went extra mile to enhance the theme on the delivery of the food. It not only looked amazing, but it was the best Buffett myself and our guests had ever had. They also catered for our vegan requirements too. I cant recommend this venue enough and the staff's attention to detail was first class. Thank you to all.

Not just a great gym and spa but a perfect business meeting venue too with great meeting facilities. The private conference room we recently prices indispensable for our Business Portrait day when set up as a mobile portrait photo studio. Fabulous hospitality and we got some great images too.

I normally use the MClub in Newcastle but thought I'd give this one a go with it recently (re)opening. I was going for the pool but had a quick look in the gym and it looked great; definitely smaller than the Newcastle one but still had most of the machines and everything looked new and tidy. If you're just going for the gym - stop reading now, I'm sure you'll like it. Poolside though, it wasn't terrible but honestly, I thought it was a let down. Firstly, the changing rooms were really disgustingly messy when I went in - eaten banana skin / empty water bottles / mud from shoes / wrappers were littered over the floor. Hand towels used to wipe down gym equipment (in this age of covid) had been left all over the place. For some reason, they've decided to rip out the old battered lockers from the Festival Park MClub and stick them in this new building... even the broken ones! So there's one locker with the door hanging off and another that doesn't even have a door already. Not a gripe, but I just thought it was funny that they've not even bothered to take the Ipod Shuffle adverts out of the lockers during the move (a device that got discontinued about 5 years ago). There's missing skirting board in the changing rooms - again not a massive deal but not really what I'd expect from a brand spanking new building. The pool itself is nice, but probably about the same size as the old festival park gym (so significantly smaller than the Newcastle one) and not big enough for the amount of people that were trying to use it. Again, the hot tub is nice but a fraction of the size of the Newcastle hydrotherapy pool, and there seems to be no limit on how many people are allowed in it. I witnessed 8+ people sat in there shoulder to shoulder which is a bit concerning in my opinion given the current situation. Unfortunately there is no cold plunge pool like there is in the Newcastle club. I think if the guy who cleans the Newcastle club (not sure of his name, but he's great) worked here, I'd probably rate it a lot higher, but even then, the Newcastle club would still be the winner for swimming.

In transition from old gym to new facilities so some fixtures and fittings missing. Lounge area - no lighting so looked and felt a bit gloomy. Clean and covid secure.

  • 2/5 Daniela De S. 3 years ago on Google
Brand new gym, facility is beautiful and the equipment is great, everything is clean. Classes are awesome. No complaints there. The downfall is their class policy: you have to cancel 12 hours ahead of time or you get charged, which I think is excessive. Also, they have limited the amount of classes you can book to 3. Which makes it impossible to plan your week ahead of time. Specially considering it was not in the original policy when I signed up. Changing policies as they see fit and limiting the options you have, is in my opinion, unprofessional an unfair.

Like No Other! I have been a member at Kinective since May 2021, and have loved the experience. It is worth every penny you pay, I highly recommend you go in for a tour to see it for yourself! - The facility itself is always clean, equipment is top notch, and the locker rooms feel luxurious. - Personal training is phenomenal and has helped me to stay consistent with working out since joining. I have been working with ZACH and highly recommend you do an assessment with him, he has helped me make great progress. - There are so many classes to choose from; I personally like the Spin, Yoga and Mobility classes. There are a ton of classes in the mornings and afternoons, so finding something to work with my schedule is easy. - Spin/Indoor Cycling classes are the best! I highly recommend you go with Ariel or Robert, they are my favorite instructors! - Staff are knowledgeable and polite, and assist you whenever needed. - Rooftop running track is super cool! - Seminars are offered periodically to cover nutrition, working out, ETC. If you are serious about making a positive change in your life, Kinective is the gym for you to join! :-)

Best fitness center I have ever been too. Hands down. Amazing trainers. State of the Art facility. More classes then you can imagine with huge amounts of variety - Pilates reformer, yoga, cross fit, spin, Zumba, just to name a few! And if that isn’t enough - a fantastic smoothie /meal bar, an outdoor (rooftop) track (and soon to include a rooftop bar) and an option for massages. Seriously, for the price you can’t go wrong! Best decision ever!

The fitness instructors are super nice and knowledgeable. I had Robert Gutierrez as my personal trainer, he went above and beyond. You know when someone loves their job like Robert. The CrossFit instructors make you feel like family. David, Gerry and Blanca are super nice and work with you one on one with your technique. PJ is super sweet and energetic. She will bring out the best in you. These are just some one the people that work at Kinective. I’m very satisfied with Kinective.

This is the gym if you’re a spin/Zumba/Pilates/barre class taking junkie like me. They have it all. Also work in tech so really appreciate the high tech machines. Super user friendly if you don’t know your way around a gym. Have had a couple of great training sessions and amazed that they are required to have a kinesiology related degree so they actually know what they’re doing! Glad a premium gym finally opened up here in El Paso. Don’t think I could ever go elsewhere ever again. All they need now is a pool for laps! It’s the desert. It’d be greatly appreciated lol

Great Facility! Been to many gyms over the last 40 years here in El Paso and other cities and Kinective is Tops especially here in El Paso. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was there’s not a cold tub cold plunge. After the steam room or dry sauna it’s great to take a cold shower or cold plunge. The water in El Paso in the summer doesn’t come out cold in the showers but for only 3-5 seconds at best. So I give 4 1/2 Stars. Oh and the new timer for the Steam Room is great! Thanks!

Without a doubt the best fitness facility in the city! From the equipment, to the classes and personal training options, you can find everything you need to achieve whatever goals you have in mind. The staff is incredibly friendly and always attentive to anything needed. Something even more unique is that they offer a bunch of opportunities to socialize with locals through themed events every Thursday!

this place is fantastic. everything about this place from it's amenities to it's classes and to the app is perfect. it's very clean and well equipped, the lounge on the top floor makes it perfect for a bit of relaxation before or after a workout. the only thing I'd change is adding a MMA or boxing class, not replacing pre-existing classes just adding it. fantastic gym if you choose to take advantage of everything they offer and well worth it's price.

I’ve been coming here for over two years, and this place keeps surprising me with how much better it keeps getting. I’m writing this review now because I accidentally overexerted myself and went to the roof to stop the trembling, and a worker named Brandon noticed and helped me to recover. Other reviews can tell you how great the facility is, so I’m here to tell you that the staff is also top-notch. Everyone is so welcoming and excellent at maintaining this place. Keep up the fantastic work Kinective, hands down the best gym in the city!

Kinective has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! From the beginning, when you first walk into the gym, the front desk staff always greets you hello AND goodbye, making you feel welcome and excited to begin your workout! They are also extremely helpful when it comes to questions or concerns regarding anything in the gym. And if they can’t assist, they always help get you in contact with someone that can! Next, the classes are amazing, it’s hard to get bored at a gym like this when there’s such a wide variety of classes you can take. Not only that but the classes are great because of their instructors!! Some of my favorites (just to name a few because they are all AMAZING!) are Robert for his energetic spinning classes and Carla B. for her relaxing but challenging yoga classes! I also love how Kinective has tried to add in extra social events to create a sense of community at the gym!
