😠 I worked here for almost a year and have to say it was one of the worst experiences I have had. I am 21 and the management and staff here and not very kind at all (especially the younger girl life guards) for the price the members are paying. They also overworked minors like crazy. They also do NOT... People often mention staff, club, outdoor, pool, pools, kids, membership, indoor, great, family,

I am 21 and the management and staff here and not very kind at all (especially the younger girl life guards) for the price the members are paying. They also overworked minors like crazy. They also do NOT treat their staff fair in any way. I had to share my experience because it was that bad.

We've just returned after a 5 year break, we had to join as new members. But the great thing is that 4 personal training sessions were included, a family pass for friends, a spa coupon for a free massage, and many others. I love the energy of the place and that there are people of ALL ages, babies to very seasoned, and everyone in the middle. I've started in the "oldies classes" with Joan and she is beyond inspirational and teaches so well, I always can follow, and she constantly reminds us of form and proper position. Our Personal Trainer, Brian, is also SO knowledgeable and we are learning the basics of proper posture and alignment, and how to use the machines correctly. All of our staff interactions have been kind and professional. The club is totally worth the fee and monthly cost, and you get so many classes from which to choose. So much better than spending the same fee for just one yoga class somewhere else. If I can't make one timeslot , there is another one I can do, or use my personal exercise plan. The physical property is well maintained and clean. The outdoor pools for laps and the other pool for kids are safe with life guards. Our kids loved hanging out and playing basketball. It was just great for them to be in a safe environment with no access to TVs, just physical playing. WELL WORTH THE COST!!!

A nice place but expensive. Front staff can be nice at times, but if you are not a member they treat you differently and you can feel it. I was asked "are you a member" at least four times in the 30 minutes on the property - it seems like everyone in the club is trained to ask this question before they answer a question. My kids were enrolled in summer/camp swim classes but the the treatment was not professional. We inquired about the swim level and what we were told at sign up time was totally different than the actual experience. Despite the fact we were told they would be able to move them up after first evaluation (and there would be space) that was not the case - but we already paid so there is nothing they could do. My kids did not want to return - they were a bit more advanced than the group they were in and did not like it. Disappointing as we were considering membership.

Edited to Add: After being a member for over a year I still like Liberty but think they could upgrade some things. The chairs by the pool look worn out, mismatched and cheap, not representative of a higher end club. They don’t have shampoo and conditioner in the locker rooms. Other similar priced clubs in my experience have these. We have been a member of Liberty Athletic Club for several years, it can be a little on the pricier side but the facilities are nice, and if you come here often it's definitely worth it. The gym is nice, and the play area, pools and outdoor pools and slides for kids are wonderful.

Shelby was absolutely wonderful.. other young lady has a Very Nasty attitude and is Extremely condescending… really wanted to join this club but now very hesitant after dealing with such a poor attitude, especially when dealing with a future member. Completely unacceptable and is very unfortunate. She should not be behind the front desk representing this club.

Nice facility, but the cost of it is not proportional when compared with other rec centers.

I was visiting the area for a weekend. I wanted to go to 2 classes....apparently this gym doesn't have day passes. It is the FIRST fitness center in all my years of travel to all different states (and countries) that doesn't have a day pass program. I was completely turned off by this policy that smacks of snobbery.

Our whole family LOVES Liberty. The family pools, indoor and outdoor, are fantastic. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and on the ball. The equipment and facilities are well maintained and up-to-date. The day care staff and space are excellent. It is well worth the membership cost.

Facilities are very good but some staff are really nasty. For decades, at the end of every year, they sent all members a free guest pass for up to 4 people. They said it was a holiday "gift" to members. I loved these, and saved them for special occasions when I was bringing a family. It was fine if I brought a 2012 ticket in 2013. But today, all of a sudden the front desk staff said I could not use my 2013 "gift" in 2016. Imagine if someone gave you a birthday present and later snatched it back from you. Nice facilities, just be prepared for occasional meanness.

Extremely steep membership sign up fees and monthly membership also steep, I don't think its worth it personally. $600 to get in plus the membership cost.. thats well over $700 wow. rediculous!

Great family friendly club with many outings for workouts. Some areas are a little more private in case you don't want to be in the open floor area. Outdoor and indoor pools are great for lap swim (outdoor for general swim too). At this time, reservations for lap swim are still needed (I believe early morning open lane option though). The lagoon is nice for younger kids. There is a wide variety of swim and tennis lesson options plus camps. The lobby area is great for eating or a little remote work before/ after your workout.

Not the best gym to go to. Every time I went last year something's closed or they close for employee parties or something's shut down.on on.like the pool and jacuzzi, or half the entire place! One rude blonde lady at front desk..idk Not worth the cost imo, dirty showers, and they charge for tennis?seriously . I paid $20 to get in and didnt get to use the shutdown areas and they dont seem to care. I've been to nicer clubs

They do have sign up fee plus the first 2 months fee upfront. The monthly family membership is more than most but you get more for you money. Life guarded pool times for kids, the child care, the play area kids over 8 do not have to be accompanied in the play area or if the pool is lifeguarded. In the summer time outdoor pool is life guarded. The facility is very clean staff is very courteous, and there have been times I have left my ipod on a machine even left my phone in locker room and it was returned to the desk. parking on site. I have tried the local YMCA which is less for a family membership but we went back to liberty they are more family friendly. I even checked into the local wellness center it is a nice facility but for a membership of 4 the monthly cost is not that much less and they are more restrictive on unaccompanied children.

Good club, great tennis courts, huge gym area, b-ball court, several indoor/outdoor pools - one indoor pool adult only. Two small waterparks indoor and out - huge slides. Free childcare and a kids' activity center to rival any with huge brand new climbing structure. The rock climbing wall is one of my children's favorites. Outdoors can get crowded in summer so get in early but there are always loungers available in grassy areas, the poolside ones get taken pretty early. Indoor/outdoor cafés are good and women's lockers huge and modern, good showers. Like the towel service. Dislike: indoor courts too warm in summer, food prices are a bit steep but you can bring your own picnic for outdoors. Other than that it's a good value for families who use it often because you don't need to go anywhere else for a huge variety of activities. We pretty much live here for the summer and then use it fairly often during the other seasons.

Incredible facilities, especially the pools and the tennis courts. The childcare is awesome, and the staff is extremely friendly. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

Very nice facilities! The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. We love the cafe and the pools too. The child care options are great too and add so much to the membership value. We really enjoy the club and it is perfect for families!

Clean, well equipped, and nice amenities. But my favorite part is the staff. And the MyZone device they have is pretty cool.
