Waren dort an einem Sonntag (Kinder 4 und 8 Jahre) und obwohl viel los war fällt das bei der Größe des Zoos kaum auf. Wenn man auch die Safari mit dem eigenen Auto macht, sollte man die als erstes angehen ... hier merkt man noch am ehesten die vielen Leute, da sich eine "Auto-Kolonne" träge durchs Gelände wälzt. "Gefühlt" muss man sich ums Auto nicht sorgen, wenn man den Tieren ihren Freiraum lässt. Anschließend geht's dann zu Fuß durch den Tierpark. Ist auch mit dem Kinderwagen ideal zu befahren. Im Inneren gibt es ein großes Restaurant, mehrere kleine Imbissstuben, gute Spielplätze und ein paar WC Anlagen. Die WC- Anlagen waren so weit in Ordnung. Auffallend war auch, dass es im Park sehr viel Schatten gibt, bin in der Sommerzeit immer froh um ein schattiges Plätzchen :) Nicht vergessen, auch für den Parkplatz benötigt man ein Ticket. Fazit: Wirklich ein toller Park zu verweilen, die Kinder liebten die Spielplätze, das Eis und natürlich die Tiere. Den Teil mit dem Auto fand ich eher etwas langatmig ... lag aber sicherlich an der Auto Kolonne. Und hat's gefallen daher 5 Sterne. I love this place! It's a good size to make it a day trip, I think if you really take your time to see every animal and make a few picnic stops, you can spend up to 8 hours here. They have a cool safari part, which is lovely to see and quite a decent part (it seems much smaller on the map). They also have a "House of Giants" with large butterflies flapping around your head, various reptiles and fish, and even ants. It's really cool to see, I recommend. It's, as far as I know, also the only animal park that has a part with life-sized dinosaur statues and prehistoric animals. They provide a lot of resting spots for people who get tired easily and also a lot of shade and picnic tables. You can also easily find toilets all over the park. I wouldn't recommend coming here in a wheelchair or with a stroller because some of the paths are really steep. It's manageable if you really want to, though. They also provide a lot of didactic information about animal welfare and the environment, so it's a good way to introduce children to the topic. 10/10 my favourite park. Coming back for sure.

some animals didn’t seem happy/ interactive or looked malnourished such as the reindeer however the park is beautiful and is a unique experience. The entrance is fast and the food was better than expected but not a big variety to choose from :( we spent around 6 hours here and we absolutely loved our time here especially with the goats!! we didn’t see a lot of the animals as they seemed to hide away however we was happy that they have enough room to do so. overall this was a very good experience and is very good for families, couples and children. the gift shop was full of school children but it is a nice little store.

Nice park to visit with the kids. First, drive through the safari (not necessary, but fun!) and then explore the park itself. We love zoo's. This zoo has an interesting approach....you can drive through, and you can also walk through. All the large mammals are viewable from your vehicle from vantage point, and viewable from another when walking. There is even a play place in the park the little kids can expend energy, as well as a petting area where the goats are....very fun. It made for a great family outing and we enjoyed it, even though it was 32c outside. The rest areas in the park where you can find refreshments and shade are actually very reasonable. We also enjoyed a nice cappuccino too!

A really nice experience. The drive through safari was great fun. Perfect for escaping the heat on a hot day. The fauna park was also really well laid out. The paths are well lined with tall foliage so to give lots of shade on hot days. There are nice playgrounds dotted all over the park. Be aware that there are steep hills, so if you go with a pram/stroller you will get a good workout. The food options were good at a reasonable price. A really nice way to spend a morning.

We enjoyed the visit. It was full (to be expected in August) and had to wait a bit for the safari tour by car (and we were following the line of cars instead of enjoying the animals) but the fauna park was amazing, animals well looked after and play areas and lots of picnic tables available. Great place to visit! We visited with our 2yo daughter and loved it. There are many different types of animals to see and even though toddlers have the attention span of a potato she was amused the whole day. She particularly likes the part with extinct animals and the dinosaurs on display. We arrived around 10, spent 40 minutes in the safari where people were driving pretty slow, it could've gone faster for us. Then spent the whole day in the park until 4:30 including a 1hr toddler nap when we just relaxed. In the end we skipped one part because they had similar animals like in the safari and our toddler was tired but you can easily spend a whole day here. Last note is that the path has lots of gravel so you need a sturdy stroller if you intend to bring one. We had some trouble carrying it around.

The Fauna park is nicely done and animals have lots of space. It's divided into regions (e.g. Asia, Africa & Madagascar, etc). Some of the animals are shared (view from different side) with Safari park. There's lots of places to get coffee/drink and also to have lunch or just rest on a bench. Would come here again in couple of years and take more time... if you want to explore it in full you want to reserve half a day. The ticket is shared with Safari park and goes for 23-25€/adult person. Going just to Safari park is not worth it, so reserve time for Fauna, too!

Schöner angelegter Tierpark. Sehr weitläufig, durch die vielen Tiere aber trotzdem kleine Gehege. Die Tiere sahen alle gepflegt und gesund aus. Die Safari an sich kann man sich sparen. Die Schlange ist so lang das man sicher 2 Stunden warten muss um dann 1,5 Stunden langsam durch die Gehege zu fahren. Man sieht alles außer das Nashorn und Giraffen aber auch vom Tierpark aus oder halt in einem anderen Gehege. Die Wartezeit lohnt sich also überhaupt nicht! Wer dennoch nicht verzichten möchte sollte die 50 Euro für den Mietjeep ausgeben(nicht das es nötig wäre, die meisten gefährlichen Tiere sind trotzdem eingezäunt) man hat eine Priorisierung und wartet vllt 3 Minuten und fährt praktisch an der Schlange vorbei. Vorsicht ist auch bei den Online Tickets geboten. Es gibt zwei verschiedene, leider ist das günstigere nur an bestimmten Tagen benutzbar. Das erfährt man aber erst ganz unten auf der Webseite wo die Buchung eigentlich schon durch ist. Vor Ort war aber eine aufbuchung ohne Probleme möglich, sonst wäre ich echt sauer gewesen. Essen und Getränke sind preislich okay. Wie in jedem Tierpark aber teurer wie außerhalb. Tipp: Getränke an den Automaten ziehen, ist günstiger wie am Imbiss. Der reine Tierpark ist empfehlenswert, die Safari Tour eher nicht.

Der Zoo war wirklich toll - vor allem auch im Vergleich zu Zoos in Deutschland. Die Safari Tour bei der man mit dem eigenen Auto durch ein sehr großes Areal mit wilden Tieren fahren kann und einem dabei tatsächlich mal eine Giraffe den Kopf ins Fenster streckt ist atemberaubend! Einen halben Nachmittag Tag muss man für diesen Zoo auf alle Fälle einplanen. Nach der Safari Tour geht es dann in den eigentlichen Zoo wie man ihn kennt. Auch hier eine extreme Vielzahl an Tieren und Arten aufgeteilt in Kontinente der Herkunft. Was auch hervorzuheben ist, die Tiere haben sehr große Gehege und können sich auch von den Menschenmassen zurückziehen - was manche Raubkatze heute auch leider getan hat. Dennoch absolut zu empfehlen für klein und groß.

Sowohl der Safaripark, den man mit eigenem Fahrzeug durchfahren kann, als auch der Tierpark sind schön angelegt und bieten eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Tiervielfalt. Den Tieren schien es relativ gut zu gehen. Die Tiere im Safaripark haben genug Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und schienen mir von unserer Durchfahrt mit dem Auto nicht gestresst zu sein. Auch im Tierpark konnte ich bis auf eine einzige Ausnahme kein stereotypes Verhalten feststellen. Die Gehege sind alle sehr natürlich angelegt und bieten je nach Tierart entsprechende Versteck- und Rückzugsgebiete. Das bedeutet allerdings auch, dass man teilweise viel Geduld aufbringen muss und das ein oder andere Tier auch gar nicht zu sehen bekommt. Das Kombiticket Safaripark und Tierpark für 27€ pro Erwachsenem empfand ich anfänglich als sehr teuer, muss mich hier aber definitiv korrigieren, denn für das was es zu sehen gibt ist es im Vergleich zu manchen deutschen und österreichischen Zoos eher sogar günstig. Für Zoofreunde ist dieser Park meine Erachtens ein absolutes Muss.

Zuerst mit dem Auto durch den Safaripark und die großen und wilden Tiere in freier Wildbahn entdeckt. Anschließend durch den riesigen Tierpark gelaufen. Der Park geht teils steil nach oben und unten und ist wirklich sehr weitläufig - am Abend hat man die zurückgelegten Kilometer in den Beinen gespürt ;-). Viele tolle Gehege und ein tolles Ziel für einen Tagesausflug.

Unser Ausflug war zeitlich scheinbar sehr gut geplant! Der Park war überhaupt nicht überlaufen. Die Tiere haben hier anständigen Auslauf und machen einen super Eindruck. Wir haben uns zuerst für den Besuch im Zoo / Park entschieden und sind dann mit dem Auto durch das Außengelände. Das war super, unser Kleiner (1,5 Jahre) konnte dann, als die Aufmerksamkeit etwas kleiner ausfiel, die Tiere aus dem Auto, aus seinem Kindersitz bewundern. Das war einfach super. Entgegen vielen italienischen Standards war es hier super sauber, im Park, auf der Safari Runde und auf dem Weg von Parkplatz dorthin.
