Kind of rubbish place. I've been literally robbed: 70 euros for 2 adults and 2 children, when something like this is in the UK would not cost more than £35 with a family ticket. The place is for most of its part inaccessible to impaired and disabled person. It's also poorly maintained (rubbish everywhere, gums, ashes) and the staff almost unwilling to work. The entrance was so distressing and unfriendly which I was tempted to run away. The worse of all is that being on holiday I clearly was not having a printer and the guys were kind of not keen to let me in because they were not able to use their scanner on a mobile device. An overall visit could last no more than 2.5 hours, with the best being only the one with fishes. The new entry, built in 2016 is kind of joke, with some posters and some plastic animals. Absolutely not worth all that money. A place like this should cost no more than 7 euro per person.

Larger dogs are not allowed, not even with muzzles - but small ones are welcome, that's really nonsense, as larger ones are far more socialised, and everything is easily accessible. As there are many tourists, there could be more english panels with descriptions. Overall the aquarium is wonderful.

Great aquarium. The price is lower if you buy tickets online. There are several entrances. The whole tour is nice, although the decoration is quite unique (it is too dark to read text from walls). We saw the representation of the deep sea creatures which made it all way more interesting - without this the whole tour would be a bit light. Very nice place, great people, but in 1h30 you've done it all. Exiting you can eat sea creatures, which is a bit off.

Edutainment! We love the blue 💙 exhibition, the fish tanks and everything. When the place is packed it's incredibly loud. (People knock on tanks and use flashlight. It's super annoying.) The ray tank is a highlight. This alone is worth the visit. But - don't take offense - please protect your animals more, especially from those two-legged animals in search for the perfect selfie.

We loved the visit. The shark tank is amazing. We watched great white shark so closely. You can get a stamp and return during the day. Outdoor Dinosaur park is also great.

I honestly would start by saying if it was possible I would rate this place zero stars. Let me explain in detail why: 1. No dedicated good parking spot and the one that already exists is a joke. It is close to impossible to arrive here with small children and find parking. The one marked on Google maps didn't even look like a parking spot that can serve an aquarium with many visitors. Don't think of going there by car, terrible experience. 3. We bought tickets online and still we had to wait more than an hour to get in because at every entrance they need to check your tickets, ridiculous and very ineffective policy, in fact the lines were long. We complained about this to the employee and their response was: This is Italy... This is a second point why you should avoid this place with small children. Ohh wait shouldn't aquarium be accommodating small children, I guess not this one. Terrible service... 3. Good luck if you have stroller or you need a wheelchair, this aquarium is ridiculous in this perspective since to see things you need to take stairs. Third point why this place is not worth it. 4. People are just not respecting the personal space and spend tremendous amount of time taking photos and videos. My daughter couldn't see anything basically not to mention that my son who is one year old basically was even more stressed being here. You need to literally push out people to see anything. The fourth point is why this place is not worth the visit. 5. Price for what you get: Tickets for 2 adults and one child were over ( my son luckily was for free ) costs over 60 euro. Really not worth it for the money you pay you should get a much better experience. As a bonus you get frozen piadina from the bar so even in food they failed. Overall avoid this place. It is really overpriced, badly organized and simply not worth your time and effort. We arrived there enthusiastically and happily but that lasted a really short time.

Two words: Bull sharks. Magnificent beasts. To see them floating around is just mesmerizing. Worth going only to see them. General experience was good also. Nice exhibition of fish, learning new fact and reasonable price.

Went to one in NZ 40 years ago that was light years ahead of this. Ridiculous queues for the ticket office, 100m+ for the blue and green Aquariums, limited viewing windows and am abundance of visitors for many species. Plan for an entire day here between purchasing tickets, queuing at the 4 different Aquariums, and waiting your turn to catch more than a glance at certain windows. We did the blue one and the yellow (which had the caiman and otter (sadly no otters were to be seen) then called it a day. Friendly staff, though.

This is one of the most popular place in the area so a little planning is needed! First of do not visit the park in peak hours which are between 12 - 15. Come as early as possible or at 16 (plan about 2h to see everything). Buy tickets online to skip the queue. Do not plan to eat here as there are to many people with the same idea, instead you can get food at plenty of restaurants nearby that also have better food. Take your time in the aquarium (blue pavilion) as that us the highlight. People move fast so if you wait a minute you can usually get a great view. Parking can be scarce in the area so if you cant find a spot you can try to park in the streets and walk there. Pricing is a bit on the high end but children love it so it is worth it as long as it is not to crowded. Also buyin online the tickets are cheeper by up to 20% I would recommend visiting the aquarium on a thursday or friday. 4 stars as it was a bit pricey and some areas are a bit run down.

A little peicey, but personnel is helpful, area big offering shade, good location near parking and beaches. Good for families with kids of different age. Best one is shark building, only bad it's without wheelchair access. The dinosaur outdoor area is good addition. We spent around 2 hours here.

Aquarium Very good although abit disappointing that the walk through tunnel was quite shallow above, so not the full experience of the fish above you. Seemed a little expensive for entry for what was there. Cafe food not that great so take a picnic. The best bit was the looking through the eye of an insect at how they see things, that was amazing 👏

It is very interesting, especially for the kids. The staff is very helpful (we were late the day when we had the tickets, and they offered us to come next day (for free, cos we already payed once) so we can see all of it and don't need to hurry up.

It is lovely overall but apart from the fish area there is not much to visit in other halls. with the same ticket you can enter multiple days in the same day, if you wanna see the otters please go early, we went around 4pm and they all went to sleep. Cool place to visit for children but not stroller friendly because there are a looooot of stairs. Try to get the ticket online to avoid a long queue at the ticket office.

SAD. If you have a tiny bit of love for animals, please don't go there. There are so many problems in this place but here are the main ones: - Most of the tanks are way too small and only have fake plants and fake rocks. Animals are either trying to hide desperately or running in circles like crazy - Animals don't seem to receive good care: we can smell a very strong odor there and most of them have awful scars. For example, the penguins have some identification rings attached that hurt and scratch them constantly - The most choking thing to me was the open stingray pool and here is what you can read about it on their website: "For safety reasons, the spine is periodically trimmed". This means: "You can see an open wound on their tail but don't worry it's fine". Obviously, all these rays with their spine cut off are not moving and seem barely alive Please, don't waste your money on this. I know how it could be tempting to offer this to your kids or even to you but trust me, you will enjoy way more watching Finding Nemo

Aquarium section looks very interesting. If you like sea world - worth to visit this place. Also good fish restaurant with reasonable price.

Der blaue Bereich hat uns am besten gefallen. Schade, dass das Restaurant Mittag nur von 12-14 Uhr geöffnet ist. Wir haben dann draußen gegessen.

Magical place ... Well arranged transportation from Rimini. Worth a visit

As other reviews say, its nice, but not astonishing. We expected way more. The blue exhibition, is the actual aquarium with penguins, sharks and other fish tanks. Thats cool. But the rest is rather mediocre and not half as big. And yes, there is tons of free space between the buildings with little to no shade or actually anything but walk on a pathway.

A good variety of sea creatures, some mammals, lizards and a great place to spend a day. Secured, covid rules implemented, and the beach is very close

We had a great time in mid-December, quite empty, a bit worn down and some missing English language signs. More an attraction than a museum, but it's size is manageable for a 3-year old.

The best for young kids for older nothing much to do. Although a lot of places to sit and relax.

  • 2/5 Przemek M. 1 year ago on Google
Avoid! Terrible queues to see mostly plastic models of real creatures. Hard to find a parking spot nearby. Poor air conditioning inside the buildings. Expensive tickets and way too crowded (which makes me wonder why people even bother coming here to see few fish and penguins). Expect long queues not only to the ticket office (no cards accepted) but also each of the attractions. I am quite positive this is the worst acquarium I have ever visited with my kids
