Baia di San Cataldo

Tourist attraction

😐 The location is excellent and we enjoyed swimming to the fort/cave area. However, this is the dirtiest beach we have seen while living in Italy. It was disappointing as it has an opportunity to be excellent

Fantastic place but it looks like it's been abandoned in the last 20 years! A lot of rubbish, eternit from buildings ruins and the bathing prohibition because of chemical discharge! The way to the amazing cave and the small 2ww bunker is dangerous and definitely not for children! Typical sicily, amazing places with really poor maintenance, so sad...

The best! If you are the type who wants to snorkel then this is the right place for you. Free parking. No bar. Different types of fish. Enjoy!

Absolutely beautiful views as you immerse yourself into the Sicilian wilderness and explore the rocky cliff side faces. The trail to access this area is quite challenging so may not be suitable for all

Beautiful once you get onto the approx 1,5km hike! Swimming is not allowed, but everyone was swimming including us. The water, fish, cliffs and rustic surroundings are just breathtaking. Parking costs 1EUR per hour or 5 for the day. Let him register you on the way in. Don't just pay 5 because he asks for it. Leaving the parking lot, the hike is not marked and therefore ask if in doubt. Also sadly, as many other places we've seen here, garbage is abundant ☚ī¸.

What an incredible place! Although there are multiple warning signs that the area is unsafe (due to falling rocks), it is dangerous and at points no path. Parking at the top of the beach is 1â‚Ŧ/hr I went at 9am, not a another person in sight
