Naturalistic oasis of excellence with typical dune vegetation followed by the Mediterranean coastal Climax Forest of Quercus ilex with pines and poplars and undergrowth interspersed with clearings with the presence of bunkers from the Second World War. It's a shame that the Mose has somehow disturbed the beauty of the unique landscape which must be preserved for future generations.

(Translated by Google) Lipu wildlife oasis (Italian Bird Protection League). Incredible to say, but almost 200 winged species frequent this triangle of nature between sea and lagoon among residents and migrants. In spring, the innermost strip of the beach, at the edge of the dunes, is protected by a fence to encourage the nesting of two characteristic lagoon goers, the little brother (Charadrius alexandrinus), a tiny bird that paws fast on the shoreline in search of food, and the little tern (Sternula albifrons), a small representative of the seagull family, with a light and restless flight, with sudden beats on the water. Among the summer visitors to the reserve, the bee-eater (Merops apiaster) stands out, a migrant with a flamboyant plumage and a curved beak, which forms colonies of tunnel nests. During the summer and autumn migratory passes it is then the turn of large groups of small birds, while in winter the show is offered by birds of prey that sail on the dunes in search of prey.

(Translated by Google) A very particular place, where you can see the Murazzi, works of containment of the tides erected by the Venetians, and the ancient coastal landscape that characterized the whole of the upper Adriatic with mobile dunes and fossils. The walkway along the Murazzi to the island of Pellestrina is beautiful. The vaporetto stop is very convenient (unfortunately they don't let the bikes get off!). The island is a protected area that is home to a feline colony and many bird species. The only flaw is the presence of man and his waste on the beach ...

visited during the birdwatching day, the lipu oasis with its guide is truly fantastic. The managers/guardians of the reserve are good.

Wild. The sea is very beautiful. Worth a visit! There is no type of equipment or refreshment as it is a nature reserve. Take this into account.

It seems to be in another world. Lush nature, long beach with transparent water. Bring water and something to eat since there is nothing but sand, sea, plants and peace... not on Sundays...

(Translated by Google) Very nice area! However, I don't understand the drama about bicycles. It should cost 180 € to drive on paths that are certainly secured with some kind of equipment. The reason should be "herbs" - which apparently you don't trample on foot (what nonsense!)! (As I said there is a way on which hardly anything grows) I would also like to say that I like to collect the rubbish on Italian beaches, some of which the locals throw out there. A toilet would also bring more to the nature reserve than a cycling ban. Because every two meters you will find handkerchief cemeteries. (Disgusting) In any case, cycling on paths is permitted in nature reserves in Austria. Anyone who assumes this and overlooks the one sign must at least expect aggressive attacks from officials. Personally, I was lucky not to be summoned to the next watch. CAUTION! Denn alle zwei Meter findet man Taschentuchfriedhöfe. VORSICHT!

(Translated by Google) It is a reserve that deserves to be visited with a guide and at least at every change of season to grasp its essence And then it would need volunteers to collect all that plastic that the sea brings to shore and, in its small way, they make you understand how much harm we do to nature.

Beautiful, wild and authentic. It seems to be in a remote place. On the beach, lots of shells and wood smoothed by the sea.

If you are looking for a natural beach without chaos and without structures, this is the right beach! The sea is sufficiently clear but it depends on where the wind blows and the rain. The shoreline is dotted with algae and driftwood brought by sea storms but I like it, it helps to make everything more natural and wild. To get to the beach you follow a path through Mediterranean scrub. This is exactly how the landscape must have looked before the removal of the dunes on Sottomarina beach. The Caroman is served by a vaporetto with many trips throughout the day.

Ci tornerei.

(Translated by Google) The nature (beach, dunes, lagoon) is as beautiful as the abundant plastic waste that the sea would gladly do without is repellent!
