One of the best kept zoos I have ever visited. Shady pathways with plenty of places to sit and rest. Animals are kept in very natural looking habitat and obviously well cared for. A fun and educational way to spend a sunny afternoon

Reid Park Zoo - Many good things about this Zoo. Very well maintained. Kids and family friendly. There are lot of shades to stand back and gaze animals while walking over the zoo. Limited space/animals but good enough. Witnessed giraffes 🦒, Zebra 🦓, Elephants 🐘, lion 🦁, Hippopotamus 🦛, peacocks 🦚, anteater, and many more. Giraffe 🦒 feeding is fun (between 9-9:45am, $3/person) Zoo entry would cost around $10/adult. Could easily spend half a day here ( 2~3 hours for a quick tour). I would love to visit again.

We had a great time at the zoo. The dinosaur exhibit throughout the park was a nice break away from the normal zoo experience. It was great to be able to associate the dinosaurs to potential relatives of today. We really enjoyed the different exhibits. The only downside is we went when it was too warm, which means several of the animals were relaxing where we couldn't see them. If we're in the Tucson area again, this will likely be a stop we make again when the kids are older. Unfortunately, I couldn't see visiting this place more than 1-2 times a year.

We love the zoo! There is fun for all ages! The prices are very reasonable to get in and you can feed the giraffes for $3. We love feeding them! It takes us about 2ish hours with little kids to go through the zoo. There is a variety of animals to see and some babies as well! The animals are spaced out well, the paths are shaded, and there are benches to rest on if needed. There are food and drink options available. The staff/volunteers are all friendly. Weekends, holidays and the occasional school field trip cause the zoo to be busier. There are a lot of fun activities at the zoo throughout the year, such as decorated for Halloween, Christmas, Dino’s at the zoo, and adult events such as brew at the zoo.

This Zoo is amazing it has so much to see but it's not so large that it takes hours to get through. All of the enclosures are well spaced out so the walk between them is nice but not obnoxious. When it's not busy the peacocks like to roam on the actual walking paths. They also like to get into the other animals enclosures, it's fun to see.

We came here on a weekday morning. It’s easy to find and get to as it’s part of the Reid Park. There’s plenty of parking available. This is a really nice zoo. It’s well laid out and very easy to get around. It’s marked really well so it’s easy to find whatever animal/area you’re interested in. It’s not a really big zoo so it’s easy enough to walk around and see everything. There’s a good variety of animals and they look well cared for. If you’re looking for a really big zoo like the Bronx Zoo this isn’t it (most zoo’s aren’t) but it’s a really nice place to visit for a few hours. There’s also an area for children. It’s not expensive…it’s a relaxing enjoyable place to visit. If you like in the area the yearly membership is the way to go. Definitely recommend.

Very small zoo! We finished the entire zoo in an hour and we were leisurely strolling, stopped and fed the giraffes and took several pictures. December is the best time! All of the animals were out because of the beautiful weather. Friendly zoo staff, very clean habitats for the animals. We did have a blast but I wouldn’t make the 1hr + drive from Phoenix to come back.

This is the best smaller zoo I have ever been to. It is clean and there is shade everywhere so not hot at all. Best part was all the exhibits are laid out so we could see the animals in every enclosure. There were not any animal "no shows". Highly recommend Reid Park Zoo to everyone and their families. Update: Just came back for the dinosaur experience. The kids had a blast seeing all of them.

wasn't operational the day we went). Bathrooms were very clean. We attended during the Christmas holidays, and the zoo was decorated in a very festive way. We would definitely return if in the Tucson area. This is a great value for a lot of family fun .

I can’t say I’ve been to a ton of zoos but this by far has been my favorite. You can actually see all the animals and get some good photos to share. They have lots of animals to see & they decorate for each holiday it’s so fun!

Busy place to be and only $10.50 admission. There were lots of different animals to look at and lots to learn. Other than the crowds it was very enjoyable. Also a food court here if you get hungry. Gift shop didn’t have a huge selection to choose from. Overall, super fun day.

What a great place for both children and adults! Animals look so healthy and habitats are well-maintained. We spent ~2 hrs here and got to see most animals. Lots of shading so even on a 100+ degree day, it’s totally doable. Just be sure to bring water or water container as they have water stations near the restrooms. Will definitely be coming back here. We loved it!

It is a great little zoo. It only took about an hour to walk around the whole thing. There's plenty of shade. There's not a huge selection of animals, but it's a small zoo. Food from the Cafe was better than expected too.

Love coming here with my grandchildren when visiting. The animals look well taken care of and the zoo is easy to traverse, with no big up hill climbs to get to animals like at the LA Zoo. Always make a point to come here when in Arizona.

We have a membership to the zoo and go a few times a year. We really enjoy the zoo and have found it to be clean and well run. The paths and exhibits are well marked with easy to read signage. There is a very nice variety of animals and you can get quite close to them in most circumstances. Parking is free and admission is reasonable.

What an amazing experience.. we attended zoo lights. I've been taking my children for years. My children are all adults now AND this year, I got to take my granddaughter. It is beautiful and reasonably priced. More important than that is that is part of our family tradition.

This place was amazing. I came here as part of a group trip and I had so much fun. I loved the elephant and giraffe enclosures a lot. My favorite part by far was the aviary. The birds were so cute and I got a lot of photos. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun day in Tucson! The admission costs are reasonable as well, and the enclosures have no additional costs for entry, so you won't be spending too much!

Lots of fun for the family! A nice selection of exotic animals that you’d surely love. It was clean and well kept. Would love to go again maybe when it’s a little warmer and maybe the animals would be a bit more lively. Regardless, I had a great time!

Love visiting the zoo. Reid Park Zoo was a lot of fun today. My favorite animals were out today and it was a joy to visit with them. This park is clean, people are extremely friendly and staff pleasant. Will visit again next year when I return.

I hadn’t been to this zoo before, so I was so surprised by how interactive it was, and how it wasn’t too hard of a walk through. It’s a smaller zoo, but had a lot of upsides compared to other bigger zoos. I got to see everything in one day, and could go back to visit multiple times to the same animals. The baby giraffe was so cute and definitely my favorite besides the flamingos. I would recommend to anyone! Was a good 2 hour walk through (we don’t have kids so it might take a little longer with them).

Mask Nazis. They wouldn't stop hounding me about wearing a mask when I was wearing my mask partially down around my neck because I was hot and drinking WATER, OUTSIDE. I obeyed all the rules. Unfortunately this place is turning into a dump like all other places that buy into the mask mandate.

I've always enjoyed this zoo and so have my kids. Don't get me wrong it's not as big as Phoenix zoo or from my hometown in California the San Diego zoo but for what it is it's definitely nice. Even on a hot day there seems to be enough trees to give a good cool breeze.

Our family really enjoys Reid Park Zoo. It's a great size for little kids. The shaded bamboo walking paths over by the birds and the monkeys are really cool and helpful for hot summer days in Tucson. We visited the Zoo for the Dinosaur exhibit and my kids had a blast! They even had a bar set up in the area by elephants so my husband and I were able to get some prickly pear margaritas...no better way to start the day lol!

We recently visited the zoo as a group of around 70 people and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, helping us to find our way around the park and making sure we had a great time. The animals were all well cared for and it was wonderful to get up close to some of the more exotic creatures. The exhibits were very informative and it was great to learn more about the different creatures that we saw. All in all, it was a wonderful day out and we would highly recommend the zoo to anyone looking for a fun and educational experience.

A small but cute zoo! We were immediately greeted by a volunteer upon entry who chatted with us about the wild dogs and then walked us to the alligator and talked about him as well! It was a great experience to learn from him. He also gave us some information on how to best get around the zoo and what animals to look for! Very helpful! Exhibits were spacious and very well maintained. You could tell the animals were content. It took us a little over an hour to walk through and then we had plenty of time to do other things that day.

Better than Phoenix zoo in my opinion. Not too small, but not too large either. The animals were plenty active and all looked in great condition and happy. The Giraffe encounter was great for the kiddos! The staff was super friendly too. Wish they had more food vendors, but the grill had a handful of great options. Also beer and seltzers for the grownups! A must try in Tucson!

Lots of cool exhibits, I especially love the ones where the animals cohabitate The animals are active and the exhibits do a great job about showing you multiple viewpoints . The parking was very confusing and stressful and it's not clear where the entrance is , there are two separate lots and only one of them has parking that is accessible. I don't know how to access this lot, so I walked about a quarter mile from the other one, the driveway that connects these two lots is blocked by gates I know no one cares about my opinions (why I write Google reviews) but I wish there was a childless day available. It can get conjested with strollers and and children running underfoot .

Such a nice little zoo we have, always fun for the littles! I do wish food prices were a bit more reasonable, but hey, it is what it is! I do also appreciate that they sell beer throughout the whole place, and good local beer, at that!! I don't yet have a membership, but, the memberships are such a great deal...they pay for themselves after just a couple visits! If you're a regular Zoo-Goer, I highly suggest purchasing a zoo pass!

Beautiful zoo, in the Arizona area. With construction in the parking lot as well as it being connected to a baseball stadium it is a little confusing navigating through it but they had plenty of parking with a short walk to the entrance. It’s a fair price for the size of the zoo, you’re looking at about 10 dollars a person with children entrance being free. Inside it has several mini activities for kids such as: a train ride, wildlife carousal, conservatives, and a little play area. It has benches all along the trail with audio tours and plenty of restrooms at different locations. A restaurant called The Flamingo is also located inside the zoo, it’s kinda pricey but the food is really good. A bonus, if you purchase a souvenir cup you get free refills all day. I would definitely recommend this for a fun family activity.

The zoo is undergoing major renovations. It is a mess and the whole place is a disaster. Hopefully it will be more beautiful than ever in the spring, but in the mean time stay away! Maybe simply make a donation in support. They are clearly working hard but I do not recommend going.

Nice zoo. Can be a little noisy with the helicopters that fly over but was a very clean zoo. Peacocks roam around the zoo and add some color and character there.

The zoo is small but we'll kept and the animals seem very happy and well cared for. I drive two hours to see the African Elephant herd and was not disappointed. Even with social distancing there was plenty to see and do. Remember to preorder tickets and reserve your arrival time as only so many guests can enter at a time.

I had a very nice experience. 😊 We went on 12/12/2020, with a reservation for 1pm. With the limited amount of people coming in, you get a chance to see more and to truly enjoy yourself without having to navigate through the crowds. Some places within the zoo are closed due to Covid, but there's still a lot to see! The staff is very friendly and happy to answer your questions 🙂 overall, this place deserves 5 stars ✨

I love my visits to this zoo, and even though there are some major renovations going on, it was still a good day. The park was clean, easy to navigate, and the animals were all in good form. I especially enjoyed the grizzly bears today. Lots of interaction between both of them. Of course, the elephants are always a good bet. Today was very sweet, the momma elephant herded up the littles and guuded them to big daddy, who was behind an enclosed area, and the two if them exchanged "hugs" for a bit. I love this family zoo, and I hope you will too!

Small, but gets the job done. One of the best attraction are the elephants. Since I live in a certain major city the zoos removed the elephants and my younger children never seen an elephant until this zoo. So if you have them at your zoo please take time to pay them a visit. You never miss an attraction until it's gone.

I was very surprised by this zoo. There were lots of cool animals to look at and read about. You also learn a bit about conservation and things you can do to help the environment and the animals that live in it. This won't take a huge chunk out of your day. I stopped to see every animal and read their information signs, only took about 2 and half hours. You will walk but it's only a couple miles to see everything.

I had an amazing time at the zoo. Although it was a warmer day and I went during the afternoon most of the animals were still out. The rhino was rolling around like a puppy in the mud and one peacock was putting on a beautiful show. The only thing that would have made it better is if the concession stands were open to get a nice cool treat.

It's a beautiful zoo with so many animals!! And you get to see peacocks and rabbits every once and a while scattered throughout the zoo. I've seen a bunch of big zoos like the Dallas zoo but this is a great cute zoo!!

Fun zoo, that's not too big. You can do it all in a couple of hours, which is great in AZ since it can get really hot quickly. Mornings are nice as most the animals out enjoying the choker Temps and maybe snacking on treats from the zoo keepers. We are at the grill as you first walk in and were truly pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was! I got the loaded fries with brisket and ate almost the whole thing.

I had a great time at this Zoo! It was a great respite and a break from all the traveling I've been doing across country. It's probably an hour, or hour and a half size Zoo, but with what they have they've done a remarkable job. They have clearly put in a lot of time and effort into the Landscaping and the quality of the signs as well as the layout. The quality of the exhibits are close to larger zoos such as the Denver or Milwaukee Zoo, and I was delightfully surprised by this. It's a great way to stretch your legs and they open at 8:00 a.m. so you can still carry on with whatever journey you have for the day after you've been able to get some good exercise and see some cute fuzzy animals. They had a Grizzly bear, painted African dogs, giraffes, elephants, lemurs, meerkats, lions, and many peacocks as well. I'd recommend a stop by for anyone in the family or go solo and enjoy some nice nature.

Visited on a Friday in the summer, and honestly wasn't expecting much. Very pleasantly surprised. A fairly large variety of animals, with nice enclosures. Clean and shady. Saw the elephants swimming, and got to feed a giraffe a couple of pieces of lettuce for only $3. Very nice volunteers. Will definitely return!

This was our first time here and we had such a nice day. We were concerned when we arrived that it would be really crowded because parking was quite full. However, when we went in we did not feel crowded at all. Most of the animals were out and active and they were close enough to see and experience them. The food was also quite good and quite a selection. I think the prices were a bit high but I feel like that is everywhere since 2020. Overall an Amazing 1/2 day at the Zoo.

It was a great time! We went on a friday afternoon (12 pm), and despite it being 104° there was still a good amount of people, and most of the animals were fairly active...or passed out, I dont blame them. No matter what, we had a great time and enjoyed what we saw / got to experience. The only complaint I could have was the spots to get ice cream we're all closed, and the signs all said Friday to Sunday.

This zoo is great! It’s not super big however I liked that the enclosures were all pretty big and you can get pretty close to the animals. At the zoos I have been to before this one, you’re always pretty far away from the animals so it was nice to see them close up and they seem to be well taken care of. It is also not very expensive to get in!

I have come here many times over the past 18 years with kids family and friends. With admission less than $11 for adults, giraffe, feeding/encounters, sloth encounters, and other zoo activities, this small zoo will always hold a special place in my heart. They have added a cool new kid play zone. The burger was price and quality was as expected for quick bite zoo food. I ordered a regular cheeseburger my boyfriend ordered barbecue burger.

Took my wife here and had just as much fun here as I did when I was a kid. The only thing I'm confused about is where are the pandas and where is the water park near the otters? Other than that it was still one of the best places to visit here in Tucson. If you have a library card you can go to any Pima county library and get free zoo tickets for 2 people per 2 weeks.

Fun for the whole family. Kids loved running to look at all the animals and ask staff millions of questions they seemed willing to answer. A new play area has been completed for kids to release lots of energy and make new friends. Plenty of benches around the zoo for grandparents to sit down and rest as needed. The day we went for a visit All the animals were playful, sleeping, stretching, staring right at us, walking leisurely past us, eating off the tree tops.

Been here many times and I can say this is a pretty good zoo. I was surprised how big the zoo is granted it is in the middle of Tucson. I do suggest if you visit during the summer to be properly prepared but it is perfect to visit during the fall winter and spring. My last visit was during the lunar festival which was pretty cool to walk around and look at all the lights. Tons of good photos to take and was a great walk just to look at the lights. I would go right when it opens so you can see the animals before dark because once the sun is down it is impossible to see most of the animals. There are several shows during the night however one was cancelled due to the rain so double check if the shows will go on even if it is raining. There is east Asian food at the cafe as well. Overall super fun night and loved the lights.

Nice and clean zoo with a decent entry price. The animals are well taken care of. The African elephant family is a must see. I’m only giving it 4 stars because of their no outside food policy and the snide attitude of the ticket taker when informing us we’d have to sit outside to eat our lunch. The Phoenix Zoo allows outside food, which is great for large families, as well as a really fantastic assortment of dine in food. Reid Park may consider following its lead.

Tucson has a very well laid out zoo area and many interesting animals with all kinds of special events throughout the year. Check out the website and sign up for the newsletter. For kids and adults there are some really special options, including the zoo cameras so you can see the animals progress.

Really a cool zoo. Being from Cincinnati with such a large zoo we were excited to visit. Expectations exceeded as this zoo has the glamour exhibits in terms of the types of animals. Also the Asian lanterns we're being installed and we're sad we'll be missing that as we leave in a few days. It looks like a very cool event. Overall the zoo is very clean, well laid out, close to the animals, friendly staff. Great couple hours for us to spend with my wife, daughter, and dad.

By far our favorite zoo! A day here for a family of 4 won't break the bank. There's lots of shade and things to keep the littlest ones occupied along the way. There are a lot of animals to see, and you easily walk the whole zoo in one day. It never gets old!

Oh gosh, my husband and I were married here, in 2016. I cant believe I didn't review it. We enjoy the zoo, still do. More so, now that we have a child. It is a great place to visit...hosting an event on the other hand... Wedding reviw: As far as the the food served was amazing! The Chef's and Food Event Coordinators were amazing (including bar tenders)!!! No complaints there...at all! I think event staff was good(no personal encounters); but, the Event Planner was...eh...we changed planner hands a couple times, which is stressful when you have to start over; especially so close to an event day. The contracts were clear, to us, but the planner seemed to not know what was in them. It was incredibly frustrating. The EC said she wouldn't leave my side the whole wedding...well...she did...a lot! I saw her maybe 3 times in a 4-5hr duration (most of the time she was snacking or eating...food that we were paying for...for our guests!). They don't let you take home leftovers or donate leftovers to soup kitchens(so baffling!!!). I was told this by the EC. She left such a bad impression that when my husband left the event staff a tip. He made sure they were very aware that he had given it to her. Needless to say...we will no plan another event here. Our guest, unaware of our impression. Had a wonderful time! They still talk about being able to feed the giraffes. It was great being able to provide such a unique experience. That being said, we now bring our daughter for the occasional visit. We go every year to the Christmas light festival. We enjoy that there is always something new going on.

This is a must a must do stop when in Tucson. Tickets are very affordable it isn't crowded. There is an aviary walk through that you can get up close to some really neat exotic birds. You can feed the giraffes for only 3 dollars and get some beautiful pictures in the process. Honestly I look forward to coming back next time I am in Tucson.

I went with my boyfriend, his 1st time. He's lived here for awhile but never seen your Zoo Lights. He's from Denver. His comment was "The Denver Zoo's Holiday Lights are totally awesome. But for it's size, The Reid Park Zoo's Zoo Lights are really beautiful and spectacular as well!". He was pleasantly surprised. I love being able to get hot chocolate refills with past year's holiday cups. I will say you used to have more light sculptures of the actual zoo animals. I suppose it's possible I missed them but if not, you should bring those back.

The Reid Park Zoo has amazing customer service with tons of opportunities for interaction with the Zoo's teen volunteers and docents along with keep chats. Be sure to bring water when you visit as it does tend to get hot and you'll be outdoors for most of your visit.

The Asian Lantern Festival at the Tucson Zoo was Truly Gorgeous and well worth visiting!

  • 4/5 sam K. 4 years ago on Google
I came for the Asian light show, it was so beautiful, lot's of creativity! The little monkeys had a light purposely shinning on them though, it was night time.. they looked exhausted.. Future light shows let the animals sleep... I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for that monkey heart break...

I am giving the zoo a one star review based off of and only because of Salina the so called manager of the park. Shes extremely rude, has no friendly tone what so ever when you call and should be terminated!! If you are in customer service industry, you really need to know how to treat customers. also the zoo is giving less to do but GUESS WHAT...they still want full money. How about you care about the people that need something to do with their kids home from school for a affordable price.

Awesome zoo!! Very pleasantly surprised. I expected the exhibits to be close together and crowded viewing. Instead, the mostly shaded paved walkways wound around and between the animal enclosures very nicely. The enclosures were large enough for the animals to have a variety of spots to play, sleep, etc but yet were small enough that viewers can very easily see the animals. Wonderful variety of animals and birds. Great value! Will definitely visit again!

  • 5/5 Mannie M. 3 years ago on Google

Some parts of the zoo were under construction when we went which was tacky that they were even open. It's a bit small and lots of animals were not even available. The hand sanitizers at the entrance and exit are spray bottles that you have to physically pick up and manually spray. The place wasn't crowded though.

  • 5/5 olivia h. 3 years ago on Google
The zoo is very clean they took every precaution for social distancing and masks were required. They only allowed 800 people in per day so you have to purchase your tickets on line. Perfect for a day trip, this zoo is neither too big nor too small; it’s just right. There are quite a few animals there, and they were all easily seen. Plus the zoo is arranged in a way that offers plenty of shade along the path so that you aren’t in the sun all the time. Additionally, there’s a very friendly peacock who followed us around ☺️ All in all, this is a great little zoo that offers something for the whole family!

We went on 1/30/21. It had been along time since of been to this zoo but it seemed a lot smaller than I remember. I thought the animal enclosures were very small for these magnificent animals. It actually made me sad for a lot of them. I understand they may not have enough room but I think the zoo should look for more way to extend or even move the zoo. I’d be happy to donate to that. And yes I did donate when we went. They did take great precautions due to covid. We loved all the animals. There used to be a polar bear not sure what happened to him or when but now there is grizzly bears I believe.

Got to love how the zoo secretly stole part of our FREE reid park again. Every 10 years or so, the zoo steals free space from the public and makes it some kind of enclosure at the zoo that you have to PAY to see. Leave Tucson's parks and free spaces alone.

I had a great time even during the covid pandemic! They staggered the times so that you did not have a crowded place but you were still able to experience and appreciate all that they had to offer! I love the fact that it was not crowded but I still got in and still got my children to experience the zoo! Great place to take your children now during the pandemic and even when there's not a pandemic! Really great place !!!!!!

You have to purchase tickets on line at this time due to Covid and the park trying not to get over crowded. The Zoo is great for young children and the views of the animals are perfect. If you can't see them in one spot, you can move around to the different viewing locations and see them. They do have an area which you can feed the giraffes but due to covid its closed. All in all a good place to visit

A small, but nice zoo. You can see the majority of the zoo in 2 hours. The enclosures are well thought out and the animals seem well cared for. There is a fair amount of shade and paths are fairly level- it should be easy access for a wheelchair or stroller. If you haven't checked out the zoo cams it's a fun way to see what's going on in 7 of the enclosures- live. (ReidParkzoo.org). We went on a Saturday and bought tickets online first. At the door there was a sign saying that the zoo was full. It wasn't super crowded so I'm guessing they are at about 70% capacity. $10.50 for adults. Masks required. Check the hours on the day / month you want to visit- the latest they stay open is 4pm.

  • 5/5 Shannon M. 3 years ago on Google
Always love going to the zoo. Your have to buy tickets online right now because of covid. Still amazing every time I go!

  • 5/5 Daniel B. 3 years ago on Google
It was wonderful. The new layout was interesting but the new exhibits were really awesome. Meer kats, African dogs, the flamingos are cool also. So much to see. Usually takes us about 2 hrs and we love it so much. Doing a great job controlling numbers and potential exposure/spread of covid. Super good job all of the staff....Thank You

We love Reid Park Zoo. It is always a fun place to go with the kids/grandkids. Right now it is hard to get tickets since they are only letting in 40% of the people they normally do. Times are staggered so it doesn't get over crowded, masks are required, and since it is outside it is a good place to go during this Pandemic.

  • 4/5 Martin G. 3 years ago on Google

  • 3/5 Thandi S. 3 years ago on Google
You have to buy tickets online, you can't do it in person anymore, which is completely understandable given the current pandemic. They are doing everything they can to avoid long lines of people and crowds. I applaud them 100% for their covid measures, even once inside there's sanitation stations, socially distanced signage and seating, etc. My review would be 5 stars except for a little gripe: the only way you can purchase tickets online is to fill out every box with an asterisk. ALL the boxes have an asterisk! I felt it asked for more information than needed. I'm guarded with my privacy, especially online. I'm surprised it didn't ask for my social security number! It was a lot of personal information needed just to get tickets to the zoo. It made me uncomfortable and if I wasn't already there, waiting at the gates with an excited child, I wouldn't have done it. Please fix that.

I had a horrible experience there. I was with there with my family and my father was the one paying and showed his id. Then the lady then asked for ALL of our id's demanding it. So my father had to walk back all the way to the car and it was very inconvenient. It was a race issue because we saw other people that weren't Asian who forgot their id's but were allowed to get through. Never coming back here again. The ticket lady's name is Janice and she has blue eyes and curly blonde hair.

Great zoo, especially for kids. Small enough to cover in a couple of hours and plenty of spots to duck under some shade. Even tho it's a small zoo, still has some big attractions such as elephants, giraffes, and lions. Got real up close with a rhino and Don't forget to catch the wild dogs playing in the water as well.

A nice little zoo. It's very small. Easy to get around the entire zoo in under and hour and a half. There are many exhibits that are gone but overall it's a cute little zoo to visit. If you live in Tucson it's worth buying a membership.

It is ok, I feel like the prices are a little high for the quality of zoo it is but it is fun. If you haven't been I do recommend it. It isnt like some of your bigger zoos but sometimes that is a good thing.

This zoo was perfect! It is a perfect size where you can see everything within about 2 hours and the quality is great! There are animals here that I have never seen before in my life. Fun zoo! It's not the most amazing but it's definitely worth checking out. We bought the yearly membership because it's something to do with the kids and is good exercise. I wish it were more interactive with the animals. I've been to a zoo where you can get up close and personal with the giraffes anytime. I do like how they have peacocks roaming around though, that's cool.

  • 4/5 Marie M. 10 months ago on Google
We love the zoo! The new African wild dogs are 4 sisters, and they were very adorable! We got to see them play a game of chase in their enclosure and it was really fun. They're beautiful animals. I'm so glad Reid Park Zoo right here in my hometown is so dedicated to helping the efforts of saving endangered species like our friends here, the doggos!

Although this Zoo is small, they keep it interesting with new and cute exhibits throughout the park yearly. I love taking my kids here during the week because it’s fairly slow and the animals look well and happy. Don’t miss the elephants, they are beautiful! Their yearly membership pays for itself with two visits, it’s a great deal, especially if you are active or reserve military.

Very surprised about the amount of animals at the Zoo! I had always been told it was a small zoo. Our visit did not disappoint-well, except that the lions were asleep while we were there. It was a fun experience, we were there for about an hour and a half and was able to cover the entire Zoo!

I had a great time at Reid Park Zoo. It was smaller than I anticipated. However, what it lacked in size, it made up for it with the array of beautiful animals that I got to see. I had an amazing time as well as a peaceful time taking in all the beauty that they provided. I recommend this Park Zoo to everyone that has an opportunity to visit. Thank you for an experience and memory that will never leave me.
