Zoodoo Zoo is the best Zoo I've visited in my life. The encounter with meerkats was an AMAZING experience I've had. There are also others awesome animals, feeding presentations and friendly staff. Therefore, I do recommend Zoodoo Zoo to everyone because it made my day. 🥰 Thank you!! 5 out of 5 🏆

Went there for the zoo experience and it didn’t disappoint, worth every cent and a must do, we did the full experience it was the extra cost , with out this experience I wouldn’t of thought much of the zoo but this has left a ever lasting impression and the hands on experience gave a good insight into the keepers and the animals and there individual personalities,

I liked it here. There are some beautiful animals and some animals I've never seen before in other mainland zoos. The Wombats were awake and active, and we got to watch a feeding. The zoo is wheelchair and pram friendly, and the gradient isn't too step, but you can give yourself a nice workout if you tried. All the animals in the petter areas were friendly and approachable, and all the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The kids play area and small cafe is a great place to have a rest if planning on spending all day, or grabbing and ice cream on the way out. I had to remove a star as the entire kids' area smelt like cigarette as people were by their cars smoking, and it came directly in, not very healthy unfortunately. But overall, it was a wonderful day out for the family.

Absolutely awesome zoo! It is kind of "small" but cozy and full of surprises. I have never fed a lioness and never touched a zebra before. Lot's of good memories. Animals look good. Large play area for children. I highly recommend it to visit (even if you don't have kids)!

Took our Granddaughter in the hopes that you could still go on the bus ride through the ostriches and camels. We were disappointed to find that they don't do that anymore. I found it to be a bit pricey for what was on offer. In saying that, we still enjoyed ourselves and are glad that we went.

A great place for viewing native Australian animals. There are set days and times for watching the lions being fed, and also opportunities to feed multiple other animals, with pellet vending machines available. There was a safari bus in years before, which took tourists through to a field where the zebras and emus roam, and approach the vehicle. Unfortunately this experience is no longer operates.

We chose to spend a day in Zoodoo zoo as our last day of the Tassie trip. The price may be a bit expensive but I felt totally worthy as the zookeepers and staffs took care of the animals very well. Once you got in, you can visit big cat lion, zebra, monkey and have a chance to feed kangaroos and donkey. The overall visiting experience for me is that, Zoodoo zoo felt more like a 'farm' than a 'zoo' as all animals are living happily and peacefully. Highly recommend the experience🐒🐱🐈🦁🦓🐪🐐🦥

Great zoo for kids with lots of animals. It's roughly a 30min drive from Hobart.

Was a fun place to visit and learn about the animals as there were lots of informative talks throughout the day. We also booked in for the Lion experience and loved that... they were so amazing up close... I just wanted to cuddle them!

The zoo is not big but full of fun. You can interact with kangaroos and other animals. The animals look healthy. I think the zoo keepers are doing a great job.

By far the best Zoo I have ever been to. I have been to Zoo’s all around Australia and I have never had a Zoo or Wildlife Park be so personal and memorable. Me and my husband were here on our honeymoon and decided to do the BTS Lion Raw Experience which was absolutely INCREDIBLE and well worth the money! Would highly highly recommend, you will not get that up close & personal to Lion’s eating in any other zoo in Australia I can guarantee. 100%%%% recommend!!

Enjoyed feeding the animals, kangaroo paddock felt a little small for so many? But had a good time none the less

A great place to visit with children. It was very quiet (probably influenced by weather) and we got to see all the animals multiple times without interruption. We loved the lions-who got up and roared for us, and the zebras, meerkats and marmosets. Did an animal encounter with the meerkats-what a cool experience!

Such a fun little place - lots of good animals both native and imported. Really good keeper chats. Excellent farmyard and wallaby feeding paddocks too. Bravo on your efforts on preserving Swift Parrots too.

Small but beautifully maintained zoo. So many opportunities to get up close with the animals. The animal encounters were all incredible and the Lions Raw is a must for all big cat lovers. Our guides Jake and Mikey were both brilliant. Look out for Shelly the duck, biggest character in the zoo.

So kid friendly, my youngest just wants to go there for the inside park & jumping castle. Staff are all friendly and the tours are spot on! Bring back the tour bus now Covid has settled down.

Worth the entrance fee just to see those small monkeys and the big lions. Kids had a nice time in the play area too

The encounter tour was amazing and very knowledgeable keeper. The actual zoo isn't the best for accessibility and the front staff clearly don't have any inclusion or accessibility understanding. I would reccomend it here if your able bodied and don't require extra assistance. The food options are limited and pricey even without considering plant lifestyles. Small zoo with a selection of animals great if kids like to feed roos sheep, goats and a deer.

A must visit while in Tassie especially with kids. A good animal feeding experience and we got to see new animals which we haven't seen in Melbourne zoo. The Cafe is great to and a play area for kids as well. Soo many chirpy birds, a woow experience.

Was a nice day out didn't get to see alot of the animals due to maintenance with the enclosures. Definitely bring sunscreen as there's not much shade around

Unfortunately the only two things this zoo did well are two things they no longer do. They used to be unique in that they had a bus to ride where you could feed the zebras and camels from, and they also let visitors feed the lions meat with tongs. They don't do either now. The zoo now offers nothing out of the ordinary. I think you visited previously, when it was good, and came back now, you'd find it very boring and overpriced. A generous 2 stars.

An interesting place to visit. As a place where visitors can get up close and personal with a diverse array of animals, from koalas and birds to llamas and more, Zoodoo Farm surpassed all expectations and delivered a day of pure delight.

A fun day, with lots of animals to look at and interact with. Fun play centre with jumping castle and nice coffee and snacks. Easy walking around.

We were so lucky we decided to visit at the last minute. We booked to have personal experiences with one exotic and four native animals, petting and feeding monkeys, Tasmanian devils, quolls, a python and cockatoo. We also fed the lions and were able to get up close and personal with zebras (including a foal), emu and camels! What an amazing experience and such a highlight for the kids. The guides/zoo keepers were absolutely incredible

For a small country zoo there was a very unique variety of animals, recommend not visiting in the middle of the day as most animals are nocturnal and are asleep. The keepers do a great job during talk times, personalised experiences seemed a bit expensive since they didn't last long.

Zoodoo may not be the biggest or most spectacular zoo but it is great for kids and also has a soft play area/modestly priced cafe which is great for when the weather is bad or when the younger kids have reached their limits. The animals seem well treated. They have birds, lions, various monkey species, some mere cats , zebras and a wide selection of farm animals. They seem well set up for birthday parties for younger kids which we have seen in progress but not attended.

Small but excellent zoo/ wildlife park. The lions were majestic and the barn animals are very friendly. A really good place to be if you have smaller kids for whom a full scale zoo might just be too much. It was perfect for our 2 year old as it was the perfect size for us to cover in one trip. The lion feeding was truly amazing.

A medium-size zoo. I enjoyed watching zebras 🦓. You can spot other Australian animals too. The zoo is worth visiting once.

Fantastic family day out! Zoodoo is well worth the visit. I've lived in Tassie for many years and this was my first visit taking our grandkids for a day out at Zoodoo. The previous week we were in Sydney and took the kids to Taronga Zoo. While that visit was good I think the kids got more 'memories' from Zoodoo. We were much closer to lions, walked among Kangaroos and Wallabies, hand fed numerous animals and left with a greater sense of having 'been' with the animals. AND we didn't have to walk anywhere near the big distances which were so tiring for little legs.

Visited today. Unfortunately we felt the Zoo was slightly run down. The enclosures appeared not in good condition, empty with a abundance of weeds. Some animals were isolated with no companions which was sad such as the wombat, koala and echidna. I felt it was a bit expensive considering the condition of the park. Was better a few years ago.

One of the best places we visit in Tasmania. We've never had such close encounters with wildlife. Feeding a lion, stroking a camel and a zebra. Feeding emus and farm animals. The staff are also informative.

Visited the zoo with my family during our vacation to Tasy. In comparison to other Zoo places in Australia, this one could do with having more animals on site esp exotic animals. None the less, the kids enjoyed feeding the kangaroos, sheep and goats.

Awesome little zoo! We'd never been to Tassie and were going to go to another place but was recommended to come here because it was more interactive for our son. Absolutely wonderful experience! My son and I got to feed the lioness for free! I can't remember his name but one of the wombats is just like a puppy! Being able to feed most of the animals with pellets was a plus, we would place some near our son so the animals would come near to him and then he got a chance to interact with them without being bombarded (the kangaroos and goats could be a bit much for small kids). The playground was a bonus too! When we're back in Tassie next we'll be coming back, thanks guys!

The whole family had a great afternoon at Zoodoo! We will be purchasing the annual pass as it is definitely worth it. Our family are new residents to Tassie so have loved seeing Tasmanian Devils and meeting the friendly kangaroos.

The setting of the zoo was out of the suburbs. There was quite a lot of conservation information. The variety of animals for the size of the zoo was quite adequate. Being able to feed macropods (kangaroos) and farm animals was delightful.

We visited today, it was rainy and a bit of an average day, we seen a few animals sleeping hidden in their dens, we missed the ranger talks and information sessions by 5 mins and apparently they were all over, with there being only 4 families in the park at the time would have been nice to have at least gotten a shortened version, we went to feed the paddock kangaroos and wallabies and had to walk right down through the paddock to them, overall not worth the $70.00 to visit for us. We just wanted to see the devils and wombats :(

I decided to have my daughters 9th birthday at ZOODOO....IT WAS AWESOME! We didn't think we would last the whole 3 hours but we did n more... The kids got to make practical things for animals whilst learning. The party room was brilliant, the hosts were lovely! Emma's 1st time hosting and she Aced it 😊 we weren't rushed....we saw everything and nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely, cakes delicious and exciting party bags. The afternoon was FANTASTIC! Thank you Zoodoo, Tamara and Emma!

😐 Overall taste is good. However, the plating is not that attractive, and the flavour is too salty. It seems that they are busy so the waitresses did not attend to us when we were trying to order something. The pastry became soggy in my salmon dish and doesn't taste fresh enough. Many room to improve...

😠 I was served a raw chicken parma. The waitress apologised saying that they were overloaded with orders. This is honestly a poor excuse for something as basic and critical as food safety. I suffered food poisoning from this and it ruined the holiday.
