Definitely worth a visit for the two ships and the beautiful finds. We were lucky and the museum staff invited all visitors to the nearby cave of the Sybil in the San Giovanni charch. This free and unexpected tour was beyond expectations.

(Translated by Google) The remains of a ship from the Second Punic War are very interesting and I also found the mosaics of the Roman baths interesting (Original) Molto interessante i resti di una nave dell'epoca della seconda guerra punica e anche ho trovato interessante i mosaici delle terme romane

(Translated by Google) Museum of extraordinary artistic wealth. A place full of works: not only the two ancient boats (preserved in excellent condition and constantly air-conditioned), but also the numerous amphorae and the Roman ruins outside. The price of the full ticket is more than excellent, judging by what is offered: 4 €. The duration of the visit is about 1.30h and deserves to be done calmly. The only flaw is the state of conservation of the Roman domus, a victim of unsafe plaster and rubble.

(Translated by Google) The museum with the Punic ship is beautiful. The external archaeological area is not cared for and it seems that everything has stopped at the last funding of 15 years ago (Original) Bellissimo il museo con la nave punica.

Nicely refreshing, well air-conditioned museum break from the warm town. Fun for a boy interested in the ancient history.

Definitely worth a stop! We only visited the museum (no time for the park) but that was very interesting. Unique punic war ship (very little left of it) amd roman cargo ship (also not much left of it) but lots of interesting exhibits from both ships as well as the old settlement itself. Plan for 60 minutes, should be plenty

(Translated by Google) Small but well organized museum. I recommend because both the Punic ship and the other finds deserve a careful visit (Original) Museo piccolo ma ben organizzato.

(Translated by Google) A nice museum, clearly without great pretensions, at least in size. I definitely appreciated the welcoming structure, the Anselmi beam is beautiful, spectacular, the finds are fascinating, not many but beautiful, certainly of an excellent historical level. I cannot attribute 5 stars because several windows were under construction or not usable (why?), The Punic ship (clearly what remains of it ... do not imagine finding yourself in front of a freshly launched vessel: it would be a sensational false historical seen who built them in wood!) is impressive and exciting. I recommend observing the rest of the finds without haste and carefully as there are really noteworthy objects. (Original) Un bel museo, chiaramente senza grandi pretese almeno nelle dimensioni.
