Baglio Giammaccaro is an excellent place for a vacation with your family and friends! Stefano and Joseph are great hosts and they helped us to discover all hotspots in the area! As other guests said before me, I agree that this is more than a B&B!

We had a perfect stay at Baglio Giammaccaro. Stefano was an amazing host! The rooms are spacious with a beautiful terrace to sit, read and sip wine on. The large and homemade breakfast was excellent and the whole place is very beautifully and thoughtfully designed. There is a huge garden with a lot of olive trees and chillout areas. Especially the new pool is very nice. The beach is very close and easy to reach by bicycle which you can use for free. For us it was the perfect place to stay and I can highly recommend the Baglio!

Fantastic extremely well-designed baglio on the northwest edge of Sicily with all the amenities one can ask for and the most wonderful hosts who want to make your stay special. Both beautiful and practical.

Fantastic views, lovely people. One of my top highlights in Sicily. Best place to stay near San Vito Lo Capo.

We spent four days at the end of our trip around Sicily here. It could not have been a better way to finish our holiday. Tranquil, beautiful setting, lush gardens, exceptional hosts, wonderful breakfast. Excellent position to explore the region. We will come again!

We stayed at this B&B in September this year, and quite honestly, we have never been to a place like this before :) We really enjoyed the calm atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings, as well as the delicious homemade breakfast. Hope to come back soon!

So I confess…when I first read about this place I worried it wasn’t real. Five star reviews? Stunning photos? (What’s the hotel equivalent of “catfishing”?) But I decided I had to find out, and booked a room for four nights after an academic conference in Palermo. And I am here to report that Baglio Giammaccaro is very real and as perfect as it seems to be online. The lush gardens are stunning with multiple nooks and spaces to curl up and forget the day. The rooms are tasteful and comfortable, though you won’t want to spend any time inside anyway. Stefano and Joseph have thought of everything - from the delicious breakfasts, to the flowers Joseph arranges each morning, to the bikes (which I didn’t use but are lovely), to the pool and more. Stefano was a wonderful resource and helpful presence on the property. This area is so quiet and peaceful- close to beaches, and a short drive to Zingaro, Erice, Riserva Monte Cofano, San vito and more. I can’t imagine having stayed anywhere else.

What a find - you’ll never want to leave We feel so lucky to have found this charming Baglio - the most welcoming hosts, magical setting, generous hospitality and delicious breakfasts. It’s like stepping into another world of tranquility and calmness. From the moment you arrive, Stefano gives you a lovely greeting, shows you around their beautiful gardens (with a pool, Jacuzzi and quiet areas to relax) and and gives you lots of recommendations of how to enjoy the local area. Joseph has designed the gardens and Baglio so well, thinking of every finer detail. We couldn’t stop strolling round the grounds to admire their plants, herbs and breathtaking scenery. Stefano cooks a delicious breakfast - fruit salad, eggs (freshly laid from their own hens!) and cake - heaven. The local area is surrounded by two national parks which are great for walking, cycling and swimming in the most beautiful small beaches. There are three main restaurants in the nearby town of Castelluzzo which we enjoyed (very local), and one night we got a pizza takeaway to enjoy back at the Baglio with a bottle of red wine watching the sunset. You arrive as guests, and leave feeling like you have new friends. We are already figuring out when we can come back! Thank you for an exquisite few days. Meg and Mikey

Stunning B&B with fabulous hosts! Incredible stay in the most beautiful setting. Stefano and Joseph were amazing hosts- welcoming, fun, and kind! The rooms are perfect, spacious and clean. The architecture of the house fits perfectly with the scenic surrounding. The gardens truly steal the show in this amazing property, beautifully designed. Highly recommend to all! Plus they have dogs!

Welcome to Baglio Giammacarro : Paradise on earth. When fine and delicate international people who’ve seen the world, brought the best of it in one of, if not the best preserved bay in Europe, with the will to concede 5 rooms for guests, imagine the concentration and extract that resides in Baglio Giammacarro and imagine being a guest here! They rebuilt and recreated an old Sicilian Baglio better than we Sicilian would have done it ourselves. They defined paradise on earth. They set, defined, designed and constructed the house and the environment that you would want to live in and never leave. When you do a road trip around Sicily, with max 3 nights per stay, whatever happens you will leave the place on checkout day, because it’s the rule of this kind of trip. There are places that you will leave with the greatest pleasure and won’t forget to leave the worst review. There are places that will leave you indifferent. Most places you will “thank a lot” before leaving. And then there are those few places were when leaving day comes, you stay until the very last moment even beyond what is supposed to be and wish you could spend the rest of your life there, and speak about it the rest of the trip, keep it in your mind and in your heart for the rest of your life. A cocooning experience you will never forget! Thank you from the bottom of my heart dear Stefano & Joe! 🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️ Welcome to Baglio Giammacarro ❤️

This place isn't just a b&b, it truly is an experience and a destination in itself. Everything was perfect. The grounds are stunning and so beautiful surrounded by mountains and sea. Stefano was the perfect host and couldnt have done more to help us while we were there. The breakfast is AMAZING! I miss having 3 courses every morning now!! I have been recommending it to anyone that will listen to me and while Im not usually one to go anywhere twice, Id definitely hope to come back here again ❤

My partner and I spend our second part of our honeymoon here, I was so happy that Stefano could accommodate us with a room on the top floor even though we made the booking quite late, (we know that they are fully booked a year ahead.) Stefano and Joseph were both so lovely and the way they welcomed made us feel great. This place is unique and authentic and I wouldn’t call this a B&B, it feels more like a beautiful spa with it's fantastic designs that have been chosen with care that gives this place a rustic look and feel of the Sicilian countryside. We loved spending our time here, just walking around in their beautiful garden or hang by the pool or have a shower under the stars, our room had an amazing terrace were we could sit and enjoy the views that we were surrounded by. For the animal lovers, they have dogs, horses, cats and chicken, absolutely LOVE this place it is so beautiful and S & J are so personal and friendly. We hope we can come back soon. Highly recommend Baglio Giammaccoro to anyone who is looking for a special place to relax. Maria and Ville xx

Baglio Giammaccaro is a full experience more than a mere B&B. Everything is perfectly in place and in peace with the rest. Stefano&Joseph know how to make your stay something to be remembered.

We spent some lovely days in Baglio Giammaccaro, which is run by Stefano and Joseph. They built one of the most peaceful places I have ever been to. You will discover their obsession for perfection in every single corner, never seen anything like this before. They sweeten your days beginning with the delicious breakfast and in the evening you can end your day in the jacuzzi under the stars. The baglio is perfect for recreation as nothing disturbs the tranquility of the remote location besides the chicken or the two adorable dogs. Additionally it is a good base for exploring western Sicily. We will definitely come back! Arrivederci from Dominique and Samuel!

This baglio, built anew in the last year, is a little peaceful oasis in the landscape between San Vito Lo Capo and Monte Cofano. Every little detail has been taken care of with great care. You can use their bikes, the hammocks, the grill, you can even have a jacuzzi bath under the stars. Stefano is very welcomining and will make you feel at home right away. This place is definitely worth it's price. If you are not in a hurry I'd recommend to stay more than one night.

Only if there are words to describe how amazing this place is! It's not just the design itself that made the stay so memorable, but also the attentiveness we received from Stefano and Joseph. Staying in Baglio Giammaccaro is like recharging from our busy life at work as well as reflecting on ourselves and expectation for the future. I love everything about this bnb and miss it already! Thank you Stefano and Joseph and I hope to be back soon! Xoxo
