Was a outrageously hot day but the hike around the castle and it’s grounds were full of historical ruins and buildings along with beautiful scenery and a outstanding. We didn’t pay the €8 entrance fee to the castle tho as we thought this was a bit expensive to pop in and look for 2minutes as there were 3 of us. The park up the top greets you with shade and benches for a nice place to rest , we also got to sit on fletchers erice stone bench which was kool too x look it up x
