This place was AMAZING!! The service was top notch! Vegan options too! I highly recommend Truluck's! I went for my birthday dinner with family and friends. Ambience ✔️ Views ✔️ Service✔️ AND a gentleman was playing the piano and singing some well known tunes the entire time we were there! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Houston!

This is the epitome of fine dining with seafood. Their crab cakes and lobster is probably the best thing I have ever tasted from any seafood place. They also have a very fine selection of wine. I took my soon-to-be wife here for our anniversary and engagement and they treat you well with a free dessert. Live piano music and the atmosphere is great. Perfect place for a romantic date.

Everyone was wondering! We had an awesome server Kathy! She was very patience with us and helped us very much! She went above and beyond! We are really appreciative and grateful! Today my husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary! The food was amazing 🤩! This was our 1st time here and definitely want be our last! Chris the manager and staff made us feel very welcomed and made sure we had an outstanding time for our anniversary! Thanks for everything! I just want to say that I have eaten fresh seafood in many countries. The seafood here is truly as fresh as it gets. My wife and I celebrated her birthday / our wedding anniversary here. To which they allowed me to deliver roses to the establishment and they decorated the table for her birthday. The staff was amazing and welcoming. They truly took care of every single need we could have. The server was very knowledgeable on the dishes and ingredients. Scallops were amazing and beautifuly cooked. We will be back again.

The food are so deliciously good and fresh. The crabs, shrimps and lobster tail are recommended to try here. The carrot cake is a must have and it is truly world class. I have to say that was the best carrot cake that I ever had. Watch out that the serving of the carrot cake is huge even for two persons. The ambiance is cosy and they have a guy singing while playing piano. The service is world class too. Kudos to Truluck’s.

Had an amazing experience at Truluck’s last night. We treated my aunt and uncle here while they were in town and I can say every time we go to Truluck’s, it gets better. I ordered my go to - the steak and lobster and each bite was perfection. Our waiter was extremely attentive and outgoing - he joined in on our conversation a couple of times, not in an eavesdropping way. He told us he’d been with the company for 14 years. I tried a berry Mocktail, and it was the best Mocktail I’ve ever had. I stand by my word that this is the nicest, upscale restaurant in The Woodlands.

This is a fantastic place to any celebration. The restaurant is by the Lake, which makes it very special. The quality and the service are outstanding.

Delicious sea food, our server was great and friendly and we had no complaints throughout the night. The food was fresh, definitely gotta try the scallops! Their sauces were amazing and the chef was kind enough to make all our dishes shared together so we could try everything on the table! The atmosphere was also nice and mostly formal. There were not as many young people but that was kinda expected. Always better to get a reservation to places like this and the valet parking was also smooth and not a hassle. Would recommend 10/10!

First timer…. On our birthday weekend!!!! We were not disappointed. The service.... The ambience... The FOOD... WAS AWESOME!!!! We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar and then we were seated in the main restaurant. Our buddy, IVY, Took great care of us. She delivered fully with her excellent service and we truly appreciated having her. We had fun as we engaged with her and she topped the night with the a stunning Baked Alaska. We will definitely be back!!!!! Truluck's was a great night out. I wish I could've given them 10 stars..... Thank you again Ivy, we enjoyed you.

My husband and I dined here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. At first, we felt pretty special because numerous people congratulated us on our anniversary (they put little gems on your table so people know that you’re celebrating). But I was pretty disappointed that they did not allow us to sit on the patio outside, because the weather was incredible and it would’ve made our night that much more special and secluded. It was actually one of the reasons we decided to eat on Hughes Landing. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of service from our waitress, she was inattentive and I had to ask the manager if to take our order and ask another server for more water after waiting a while (twice). We had heard great things about the mac & cheese here, but again we were disappointed to not find it on the menu. The manager found out about our request and spoke with the chef to see if he could put together a mac & cheese for us. He did, and it was unbelievably delicious! This customer service was over the top and we appreciated it. When the food came out — we ordered the surf & turf, the appetizer meatballs, mac n cheese, and asparagus. We were also given a free carrot cake for our anniversary, it was huge- the photo doesn’t do it justice. I didn’t get a photo of the meatballs, but everything was incredible. The food redeemed the poor service we received from our waitress and the service from the manager is why I’m giving Truluck’s 3 stars. If you’re going to pay over $100 per person for a meal, you need to have more wait staff that can attend to guests in a timely manner. This is my biggest complaint.

The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The Managing Partner, Chris Davis, was exceptional. Ivy, was one of the most gracious waitresses we have ever had the pleasure of working with. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend Truluck’s in The Woodlands.

Went for Friday lunch- the selection of food is good and the lake view makes it even better. Stone crab claws on the menu which was my main reason for coming. I also had a Crab Cake that was presented well and tasted great. $$$$$ for a lunch

Took my boyfriend for his birthday dinner. From the moment we walked through the door, the service was impeccable, and it continued until we walked out. Our waitress Layne was helpful and patient (this was our first time and she guided us through the menu and gave great suggestions). The view was pleasant, the food was fantastic, and the music was perfect. My boyfriend left satisfied and happy. Jennie and the rest of staff took superb care of my fiance and me. Excellent recommendations. Always attentive. Even provided complimentary dessert when they found out we were celebrating. We can't afford such amazing food or service often, but I am thrilled we chose Truluck's for this romantic night out.

Easter Dinner 2023: Had a wonderful family dinner yesterday at Trulucks. The meal, service, value and seating were all first class. Well done Trulucks Team. BTW, the carrot cake is indeed “World Class.”

We went Saturday May 13th for our 7 year Anniversary. The hostess were rude took a look at us and went back to doing what they were doing after a few minutes we were greeted. We sat by the bar and everything changed from there!the lady taking care of us was beyond amazing! She provided the best service we have ever received !!!! She made our night special and was very attentive with a big friendly smile!

Delicious food and great service. We came on a Monday night and loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The desserts were so good and very massive. Overall a great experience with great food.

We were finishing up our date night and decided to stop by for dessert and a Old Fashioned. I'm so glad we did. The carrot cake was AMAZING. I highly recommend everyone ordering it. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

We had an amazing time celebrating my mother in laws 80th, Jason our server was fantastic very knowledgeable and friendly the staff was on point! But they’re always on point. Food was spectacular just a wonderful evening.

Service: Exceptional Menu: wide variety of choices - fish, meat. vegetarian, etc We went a couple weeks back to celebrate a special occasion and enjoyed our time. The food was awesome. Missed a picture of the carrot cake which was super sweet but tasty. Special call-outs was crab cake, lobster bisque and seared tuna.

Different from the Galleria location... the Woodland's location is 'on the water.' Lively atmosphere, and the addition of Dry Ice to the beverage and shrimp coctail was a nice touch!

First time at this location did not disappoint! Wonderful attentive service from the friendly and very professional staff. Atmosphere was great and got even better when they opened up the curtains!! Maybe it's just me but a view of the water while consuming seafood just makes it more authentic. Food was delicious as expected, from the fresh stone crab claws, tasty lobster bisque and of course the of the menu South African cold water lobster tail was superb!!

So I only gave 4 stars because there we a few little bumps in the road for our dinner - nothing that would prevent me from coming back. Emma did a great job taking care of us. She was very attentive and kind to us. My filet was ordered “black and blue” but came out as medium. They asked me to cut into it and fixed it right away. Joe came over right away, apologized and fixed it! The wedge salad was ENORMOUS, so very tasty and a beautiful presentation! We we delighted with the beautiful, complimentary, baked Alaska for dessert!. I didn’t get a photo of the dessert, but the presentation was so elegant! The menu is very heavy on crab legs, but lots of good fish options too. There are 3 beef steaks and 3 vegan options. The valet seemed to have lost our car keys for a while and my husband had to jack them up to get our car. Again, many thanks to Emma and Joe to create a great experience for us!
