My
husband
and
I
dined
here
for
the
first
time
to
celebrate
our
anniversary.
At
first,
we
felt
pretty
special
because
numerous
people
congratulated
us
on
our
anniversary
(they
put
little
gems
on
your
table
so
people
know
that
you’re
celebrating).
But
I
was
pretty
disappointed
that
they
did
not
allow
us
to
sit
on
the
patio
outside,
because
the
weather
was
incredible
and
it
would’ve
made
our
night
that
much
more
special
and
secluded.
It
was
actually
one
of
the
reasons
we
decided
to
eat
on
Hughes
Landing.
I
was
extremely
disappointed
in
the
lack
of
service
from
our
waitress,
she
was
inattentive
and
I
had
to
ask
the
manager
if
to
take
our
order
and
ask
another
server
for
more
water
after
waiting
a
while
(twice).
We
had
heard
great
things
about
the
mac
&
cheese
here,
but
again
we
were
disappointed
to
not
find
it
on
the
menu.
The
manager
found
out
about
our
request
and
spoke
with
the
chef
to
see
if
he
could
put
together
a
mac
&
cheese
for
us.
He
did,
and
it
was
unbelievably
delicious!
This
customer
service
was
over
the
top
and
we
appreciated
it.
When
the
food
came
out
—
we
ordered
the
surf
&
turf,
the
appetizer
meatballs,
mac
n
cheese,
and
asparagus.
We
were
also
given
a
free
carrot
cake
for
our
anniversary,
it
was
huge-
the
photo
doesn’t
do
it
justice.
I
didn’t
get
a
photo
of
the
meatballs,
but
everything
was
incredible.
The
food
redeemed
the
poor
service
we
received
from
our
waitress
and
the
service
from
the
manager
is
why
I’m
giving
Truluck’s
3
stars.
If
you’re
going
to
pay
over
$100
per
person
for
a
meal,
you
need
to
have
more
wait
staff
that
can
attend
to
guests
in
a
timely
manner.
This
is
my
biggest
complaint.
