It was a highly anticipated procedure which I was very apprehensive to do because pain and cost associated with picking the right dentist. I can honestly say that I made the right choice. My husband and I both had consultation appointments for full mouth implants last week. Dr. Vellis and his team, Alex, Angela and Tori, were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout the consultation appointments. Imagine our surprise when Dr. Vellis said we did not need implants and he and his team explained, in great detail, why we would not be happy with them. Dr. Vellis recommended we start with less invasive (and less expensive) procedures to improve our smiles and sent us on our way without charging for the in-depth consultation or for the x-rays done. It is obvious that this team’s primary focus is what the patient needs and not the money. Our only disappointment is Dr. Vellis specializes in implants/dentures … we would have loved to return to this office for the dental work he recommended we start with. My experience at the St Petersburg dental clinic was absolutely fantastic. Everybody is friendly helpful and extremely professional as well. I would recommend this dental clinic to anyone who needs very special care.

I was told I was not a good candidate for a full set of implants due to bone loss. Fast forward to today, 12 implants with a beautiful smile at a clinic who specializes in nothing but implants and my "boneloss" was not an issue! Always get a second opinion!!

Dr. Vellis and Alex make a great team. I can't say that getting an implant is enjoyable, but the process was not as bad as I expected. Dr Vellis did a great job of managing the pain. Now I have a front tooth that looks and feels like the original. They even helped me find financing the procedure. It feels great to smile without embarrassment again.
