Worth every penny! We thought it would be a kitschy tourist trap, but it was actually a wonderful experience. We booked a trip for an 11 year old birthday and had a blast with all our kids (ages 5-11). They crew was amazing with the kids and provided tons of entertainment during the cruise. During the story time and “pirate training,” the adults are able to enjoy the views and drinks. I’d recommend this to any family looking for a fun time in John’s Pass.

Love the pirate ship experience! So fun for the kids but the adults love it just as much! Molly, Kaiser & Capt Mike were outstanding and made our day. Will definitely go again!

Loved the entire experience. The crew did a wonderful job with the kids. If you're looking for a high speed cruise, this probably isn't for you. But if you want laid back with a few drinks, book it.

It was more than we expected. The crew grabbed the kids' attention and kept them occupied and really excited throughout the entire trip. The music was great. The parents had fun, too! Rick, Brian and Matt were fantastic. We will definitely be doing it again when we come back down!! Thank you!

Loved this pirate ship experience! My son had a blast becoming a pirate. The crew is wonderful and makes the voyage a memorable one! The 5pm cruise was perfect for a winter sunset and the bar has plenty of free and purchasable drink options. There is a bathroom onboard and it’s bigger than you would think. Highly recommended this experience especially if you have kids!

On November 3, 2023, that was awesome we visited Pirate Ship Royal Conquest even it was my first time for riding pirate ship... also pirate lady named Amalia Darnold was wonderful person. also there is lady named Heidi Colon telling me that I was best customer for her even i often visited her place. surely, I will miss them since I left Madeira Beach on Nov 10 as back to home in Dayton, OH. This was an AMAZING experience for the whole family! We booked our reservation for 9 (two families with young children) based on the positive reviews and all walked away happy as clams! The crew was fabulous with kids of all ages. Lots of laughs, fun, and memories made by all!

Amazing twist on a sunset cruise! Kids had an absolute blast, got to see the same dolphins as the ‘dolphin tour’ boat, and the pirate crew was top notch! If you have any doubts, go ahead and set those aside. From the second we set sail to the moment we returned, it was a perfect excursion! Tailored towards kids but parents are involved and have just as much fun. Highly recommend and will absolutely return!!

While at first blush, we were skeptical about the Pirate Ship experience for our 7 yr old grandson. However, we were so pleasantly surprised at how engaging the staff were with all the young children (and adults). It was a terrific experience and would highly recommend it!

The whole family had a great time! The Pirates were very accommodating to all guest young and old. The adult beverages and youth beverages were also a nice touch. If your thinking about it, just book it, you won't regret it! We will be booking again in the future!

Our trip on The Pirate Ship Royal Conquest was an amazing time! I have never been on an expedition before and I really enjoyed it! The crew was amazing! Captain Jaime, and Pirates Grace, Matt and Tracey were wonderful and made everyone smile and laugh! I will definitely share my time with friends and family! They will not be disappointed. Great time for adults to enjoy a cocktail while the crew keeps all the little mateys occupied. Captain and crew are very entertaining we highly recommend for all ages.

Great for kids, nonstop activities keep them busy (water gun fight, stories, dancing, face painting). My almost 11 year old loved it. The boat is cool and the crew play into their pirate roles. Free soft drinks and water is a plus. The only disappointment was the cruise route. It's mostly weaving through the Johns Pass bay and neighborhoods. No ocean side, no attempts to point out landmarks or history, and no dolphins - they may have been out there but no effort was made to point them out to us.

WOW! What FUN! We are visiting from NY and we luckily found John’s Pass! This was the best boat excursion I have even been on. We had the pleasure of sailing with Pirates Brian, Pat and Mike. The water gun fight was just hilarious! We will be coming back to do the shark boat! Fun, informative and an all around great time. Well worth it! Very organized and definitely get the photo frame at the end. Thanks again for great memories!

My wife and I went with our daughter (11 months) and my in laws. Everyone had a great time. Free select beer for adults plus a variety of other beverages. Grace, Mike, and Matt are so funny and engaging. They had plenty of entertainment for children of all ages, from water guns, face paintings, pirate stories, and so on. No one leaves without a smile on their face.

We sailed with Tracy, Mike, and Rick yesterday. It was a great experience! The way they really interact with the kids was amazing! The free beer and wine was a plus for the parents lol. I would definitely recommend!
