Mama’s Kitchen is a Greek Diner. Oddly, their Gyro is frozen and not off the spit, so I don’t recommend that. The service is usually really good, the day I went recently, my server was just ok…never refilled coffee and water. As prices increase on food, it’s good to know that their meals are large enough to share. A sandwich will cost you $15 if you want it with fries and soup, but it’s big enough to share. I had a 2 egg breakfast with potatoes and toast and it was $10.50. The food is good quality and fresh. The soups are homemade. My recommendation is to share a meal for good value.

Not bad. The service was good and the plates big. A little pricey though. The eggs and omelettes are browned, country style. Not my favorite. Pancakes were good. Update: came back and had the cheese blintzes. Really good, just need a fruit compote or something instead of just a dish of blueberries. Very tasty though.

This family restaurant really treat you like your family. No matter how I order my food they seem to accommodate my gluten allergy. I’m going through a really difficult time right now and today was extremely tough but when I picked up my to go order, whoever put my order together, drew this picture on my box, and it put a smile on my face. Love this place.!

Awesome and Super-Friendly service. The food is delicious, and the portions are huge. It's definitely a great value for the money. The variety of meals that they offer is exceptional. I can't believe they had a Ruben Omelet on the menu!!! It was so tasty. This restaurant is clean and well-staffed. The ambiance is spacious. I love how there are privacy dividers between booths.

Frequently enjoy your restaurant. Bring friends and some elderly family members here over the years. Being a life long resident of the area it is a favorite. Being it was mid afternoon on a Saturday I brought my nephew since he had never been there . He was impressed by wide array of menu. I was concerned with the fact we had to wait 10-15 minutes for order to be taken. Waitress was in extensive conversation with I would guess friends was the reason she could not take order. 10 minute wait for our meals was not really an issue even with the fact she was not busy with other customers. We mentioned we had not gotten our toast after taking 10 minutes to get her attention since she was still in conversation with her friends she had been with earlier. Enjoyed our meal even with the fact we received our toast after finishing meal. Was not surprised when a couple seated after us questioned the same waitress what the procedure was for ordering their meal. Again she was more interested in her conversation with friends than taking care of customers. That couple were upset. I will return because of the fine food and the friendliness of the person in charge at the front desk or owner. Not really a grumpy old man but just want to make you aware. Go here and enjoy the wonderful food and staff. No doubt one of the best restaurants we enjoyed for breakfast in the past 10 years of enjoying vacation in Madeira Beach. We were leaving town from our vacation and stopped in by chance. We didn't leave disappointed. The food was great. We enjoyed a range of menu items from a skillet to an omelette to pancakes and each one was fantastic. The kids menu items a great portion sizes and filled up our eleven year old. The rest of the menu looked great and the food we ordered tasted fresh and made to order. Always a plus with restaurants. The staff was pleasant, refilled drinks quickly, and checked in on us regularly to ensure we were happy with our experience.

My first time here after a day of boating. Had a hankering for some breakfast even though they make so much more. I was very impressed with every aspect of my visit. Fabulous service, nice clean restaurant, really good food and fair prices. Looking forward to my next visit to Mamas Kitchen.

In the morning the whole family came to have breakfast! It was delicious ! The employees are very kind and friendly! The food was homemade! Big portions! The kids loved it! I advise you to come and have breakfast or eat!)))

This is one of the best 'new to me' breakfast places I've been to. they serve breakfast lunch and dinner of course but I had the breakfast and it was amazing. I had the Greek Hero Skillet and it was enough food for three people. I don't know how everybody feels about paying over $12 for a breakfast these days anywhere you go but the insult to the injury of that is that in a lot of places they're giving you smaller portions; but not this place; it was huge. Google reviews doesn't allow me to post a second separate review of mama's place but I just discovered while working there on holiday window for Easter that they had a haddock dinner and also a stuffed haddock well I had the haddock with fries and coleslaw and it was amazing! These days it's hard to find haddock fish in Pinellas County anybody who had it stop serving it except these folks. Also when you find a place that does have it a lot of times it doesn't have that distinctive haddock flavor that you get up north. I think when it is shipped to Florida it's frozen and loses a lot of its flavor. But at mama's I got the full monty of flavor and boy was I happy. Just like growing up in Syracuse at Atlantic Seafood Company. Still the best haddock I ever had but mama's makes it pretty darn good. If you've been disappointed and had it in other places try it here and they will renew your faith in haddock

My Wife & I are Staying in this area while we & are Seaching for a New Home.We decided to give this place a try for Breakfast..What a TREAT I Love Eggs Benedict Especially if they make it with FRESH CRAB CAKES!!This is the first time in a long time a waitress Said they were Fresh not Frozen.Needless to say I was Excited to Order and Eat this being the FOODIE I am!!!Not a Dissapointment I assure you the Cakes were Delicious Huge & Fresh the Hollandaise Sauce was spot on....The potatoes were nice and crispy and perfectly seasoned. My Wife's Breakfast was also Cooked to Perfection as well Kudos To MAMAS GREAT JOB 👍 THE PLACE WAS FULL AND EVERYONE WAS ENJOYING THERE FOOD.We Will Be Back Again For Sure....

The Breakfast is outstanding! The eggs and hash are by far the best in clear water area! The waitress is so friendly and nice! The food was so fast and the price is affordable! You definitely have to check this place out if your vacationing in the area!! Best breakfast Ever!!

This place is as solid as they come. Huge portions, cooked fresh. Very consistent. We go at least once a month sometimes 2x. Definitely recommend. Go very hungry and I guarantee most will still need a to go box.

I haven't seen such awesome hospitality in so long! There food is amazing, and well recommended family restaurant! Our server Stacy handled my party of 14 people with such ease. Honestly she made us feel like family! Owner was very attentive as well and made us feel comfortable, as well as the front manager. Overall very pleased with food and service!

Gyro meat was microwaved. Dry and tough on the outside and just barely warm in the Middle. Just like when you cook spam in the microwave. Hash browns and taco salad were really good though. May give it another go on another day and try something else.

The Chef salad is loaded, and their homemade ranch dressing is so good that I usually buy extra to take home. Some of our other favorites are French dip, Reuben, Pork chops, Athenian Chicken, Gyro, and pretty much everything on the breakfast menu. Their dinner rolls are warm and delicious too. The service is always great! 👌

Definitely a really quaint place for breakfast, the atmosphere and staff were super pleasant to be in and around. It definitely got busy as the morning carried on, and ended up getting a bit noisy, as it would with any restaurant. Our server was still very attentive, despite how busy it began to get. The Southern Skillet was really good, the gravy was just right, I definitely recommend getting the eggs scrambled though. The chocolate chip pancakes were good also, they used from what I could tell, the semi-sweet chocolate chips you use in cookies it was pretty alright-if you want that sort of flavor. Toast was, well, toast. You can't get toast wrong. Overall, really good place to get breakfast. I'll definitely be coming back.

My absolute favorite local restaurant, any time of day, from solo to large groups. Fantastic flavor and texture, cooked just right. Good hot coffee in a bottomless mug. The staff are friendly and worth getting to know, and they certainly take good care of you...or your party of a dozen. Solid family friendly environment. Make sure to get a big menu and read the history behind the name. ♥️😎

First and last time to Mamas Kitchen. Ordered open faced turkey dinner (called Manhattan up north). The turkey was sliced deli meat, folded over between the bread which was disappointing, I was expecting a portion from the turkey itself- the green beans served on the same plate were hot but the juice ran into the gravy (another disappointing factor) the turkey wasn’t served hot, gravy was warm along with the mash potatoes. Service was a 2 (0-5), never once did she come back to see if everything was ok. I had to flag her down. My friends open face meatloaf dinner was cold, and looked awful like cat food from a can, mashed potatoes and gravy were served cold, green beans were hot. Green beans seem to be a win here. I’m a retired Food & Beverage manager- plus past successful restaurant owner and took very much pride with my food quality. I do want to mention the personality of the young man who greeted us at the door, he was a sweetheart. Note to servers- if you don’t see steam coming from a hot entree, don’t serve it! Don’t plan on a return

The portions are very big and worth the price. So good and delicious. We both took home food. The host and staff checking us out at the counter were so amazing. We definitely will be back. In fact my husband already was and friends joined.

We ordered take out and the food was so yummy. The pancakes were really good and our order was accurate! The staff was so awesome. Over the phone and in person they were so welcoming and pleasant. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area!

Food was delicious, waiting for 7 people wasn't to bad. Server was pleasant and on top of refills/needs. My family goes to breakfest every Sunday here and my chicken and waffles really hit the spot.

We love this restaurant. We're always greeted with smiles and staff attentive to our needs, whether that's hot sauce for our eggs or seating preferences. Add to that the quality and variety of the foods served and it has easily become our go-to place!

I’ve eaten here 20+ times in the last year and I can’t figure out why other than it’s close to me and I’m a glutton for disappointment. Not the greatest of breakfast food, but on par with the price and quality with most of these dime a dozen mom and pop joints along Seminole Blvd. B&G is rarely hot and those nasty microwave bagged biscuits. Only bright spots are the waitresses are friendly and responsive and the daily specials are the only apparent value. Owner is very arrogant about their high prices on sides and acts like I should be great grateful for the opportunity to dine there, and the other usual guy runs around seating guests, taking payments, and handling carry outs without his mask on all the time. I’m taking a break from these guys. Giving my business to another local.

Plenty of parking, lots of seating including a patio. Currently eating these delicious hash browns. Diner pricing, good coffee. Thumbs up, these are the best hash browns. Plenty of options and super fast.

I have been to this restaurant many times. In the beginning the staff and the food was good. But as many other restaurants as time goes on and you succeed for some reason the food and the customer service goes downhill. This restaurant needs to go back to basics from when they started. The food here is fair and the prices are ok. Great place to stop for breakfast if you want to get a quick bite. Expect to spend about 10 bucks on breakfast.

Mama's kitchen is okay they have pretty good food I need to change the oil in their fires more often. Had a seafood platter with old oil cooking old Grace. Other very pricey mom-and-pop place.
