. Ameda Temple is an ancient Hindu temple, mainly dedicated to Snake Gods - Naga Raja & Naga Yakshi - . This temple is one out of the FOUR most famous Naga Raja temples of Kerala. . Also, the temple has "Sapthamatrukal" - they are: Brahmani (Saraswati) Maheswari (Rudrani) Kaumari (Karttikeyani) Vaishnavi (Lakshmi) Varahi, Indrani and Chamunda (Chamundi). . I was informed that Veerabhadran & Ganapathy are also present. . According to Legends, this temple was consecrated by Lord Parasurama. . Sarpa Bali is one of the importance "Vazhipadu" here. . Ample car parking is provided next to the temple, adjacent to the Vembanad Lake - with an excellent lake view. . Male & female toilets are available next to the temple. . Expect crowd even on regular days.

A calm and peaceful temple . The main idol is Naga, due to covid we cannot go inside the inner temple , we can pray and do the darshan from outside. There is provision for online booking of pooja. The road to the temple is little narrow , the parking space is huge and the view outside the temple is mesmerizing . Good place for photoshoot . The temple has a cattle farm adjoining to it ,really impressed by the cleanliness there. There is a separate place where the calf's are grown , good morning vibes.

Highly recommend a pilgrimage to this temple. There is good reason why it is so highly regarded by the devotees. Location: Not on the main road, but there are boards on the main road, hence please watch out for the road that leads to the temple. Parking: You can drive right up to the temple and the temple authorities have provided ample free parking at the side of the temple compound. The parking area overlooks the backwaters and is a beautiful spot. Other facilities: There are ladies and gents toilets in case you need to freshen up. Very helpful since lot of pilgrims come here traveling from far away. There is also a separate building nearby that provides annadanam to devotees. There is also a small Gowshala (not accessible usually).

A place with peaceful vibe. Situated near to vembanadu lake. Have special parking facilities Payasam served at that place is very tasty. There are two ponds full of fish found at this place. Hard to spot the area for first timers without the help of google maps

This Hindu temple, widely renowned, is dedicated to the worship of Naga deities. When you visit to attend one of the evening rituals, such as sarppabali, you can enjoy a splendid lakeside sunset view. The temple's primary deities are the Saptamatrukkal, also known as the seven mother goddesses. They have a facilitated a huge parking ground as well.

A peaceful temple to vist. Since we went on a working day there was no rush and we could spend time and we weren't rushed. The temple opens at 4am and closes at 12pm., giving us enough time for a good darshanam. The temple has ample parking space. The temple members were polite and happy to help and guide us. It was a pleasant experience. If you are traveling from a distance then carry a water bottle and some snacks as there no eateries close by. We need to walk/drive towards the main road to find an eatery.

It was peaceful at the time when we reached but will get crowded in special days. Temple had ample parking. The pooja ticketing system could be better. There is not even a receipt for the pooja and we were just directed to collect the prasadam without any receipt. Also a big NO to ready made pushpanjali. Not a big fan.

This is Nagraja Temple. A very beautiful and peaceful place little far from city area with a beautiful view of back waters. Washrooms were clean, there's a lot of parking space available.

The parking lot has a good scenario to enjoy. The temple is crowded at times , but it will never disturb you in any way possible. You can offer garlands to God , you will find the person who is making garlands, his place is filled with flowers , he is inside the temple itself. This is one of the powerful temple who has all the gods and goddess at one place.
