Literally stone’s throw away from the beach. Has two buildings with 4 rooms in the entire property. Very calm and peaceful. No restaurant in the resort but they arrange food at the premises which is good. The owners have another bigger resort with restaurant close by so you can go there for food as well. Undoubtedly this is the best place to stay as you get a private beach and surreal views of sea and sunset from the balconies. Wide lawn as well to sit and bask in the shades of the many palm trees.

Nice little cozy place and direct access to the beach.. caretaker Anwar is very helpful. Not very far from Kannur town. Very silent place.. only sound u will hear will be of the waves hitting the shore and the rocks.. barbeque can be and if u have good singers in ur group keep a boom box handy and the fun is unlimited.

It has the potential to be one of the best places to stay but, it's not maintained well. The A/C went kaput at 3 AM and the very next day, water pump gave up at around 8 PM. Not sure if I would stay again here or suggest anyone to go as the place/location is too hard not to suggest but, the lack of maintenance marks it down. Hopefully it would improve over time.

Having a Very good private Beach ,it's a nice experience for our trip, sun set and sun rise are most beautiful seen I ever seen

This place is very good and best for the stay near beach the beach is very near to the stay, and its like a private beach no one will be there except us and they also have a gate to the beach which will be locked , they give us the key we can go whenever we want at the night time also, and also the food is amazing the kerala style food we get, and also the rooms are good which is clean and we get every facility there hot water is also availabe, about the location its a bit inside the forest not accesible from the main road that easily because it is near to beach and outside the city, cars and bikes can go easily but the tempo traveler and big vehicles cannot access that place. Overall the place was very good and a nice experience.

Had an excellent stay at Waves yesterday with my friends. Great experience! Beautiful sea view from the property. Best place to hang out with friends and also with family. Neat room and the food was also delicious. If you are someone who are looking for a staycation with privacy this is the best in Kannur. Mr. Roshan who is the owner of the property had took care of us and provided maximum he could.

Undoubtedly the best place! very humble owner and his family. They hosted us with at most care in all possible aspect. Sea food was delicious, the view of ocean is out standing from the resort. I have stayed in other resorts in Kannur before but "Waves Beach Resort" stands apart. All the best.. keep up the good work!

Beautiful spacious clean room, friendly helpful service, great food and cold beverages available! But the (virtually) private beach is what sets this place ahead of any others. It is simply awesome to take the steps down to a secluded sandy beach flanked with rocks either side. Do it.

We enjoyed our stay here. Sindhu and her family gave us a warm welcome. The service was excellent and food was good. We felt as though we were staying in our close relative's house. Rooms were comfortable. Most recommended homestay.
