Surya Four Star Luxury Hotel. What a big disappointment I should say. I mean the service was alright. But, to be fair the food was not edible whatsoever. Coming to a Luxury Property like this, me and my friends had a minimum expectation of them delivering in some regards. However, we were disheartened with the way the food was cooked and served. We did sent it back only to result in utter failure. Moreover, we had the rare chance of encountering a rat while dining at the outside terrace. I am saddened at the fact that a establishment of this name and hype couldn't deliver to the minimum standards of dining in for a good time.

The service was all good to be fair. The waiter was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu . However, out of the three dishes we ordered two of them were below average. The beef dish was undercooked and the Squid dish was too salty for a normal human to consume. We came in with the expectation of dining in at a Four Star Luxury Hotel. Nevertheless, we disappointed with the fact that, for an establishment of this calibre couldn’t deliver. Two of the dishes were taken back to the Kitchen to be recooked or replaced, but, we were discouraged, as they served the same dish with some few tweaks and bit more masala. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone even if this hotel offers me a Million Dollar.

James is the best (service = 5 stars for him)! He was the only reason we felt at least a little bit appreciated at this place and always welcomed us with a warming smile. From the point where we decided to also eat at other places than the hotel it felt as if the rest was having a grudge against us. Downgraded our rooms for the second stay and didn't leave toilet paper nor hand towels. The rooms were generally clean but the furniture and blankets are worn down and dirty. In the restaurant the tablecloth was very disgusting and looked like they wash it only once a month.

The staff's dedication to customer satisfaction stood out, making it a memorable experience.**

Very beautifully placed with almost vintage themed rooms and halls great bathrooms which are almost always clean There is one problem that is a lot of noise on the outside but on the inside ,it's almost sound proofed It's that quiet

This bar is near to highway 🛣️ so it’s easy to access. Car parking is available. Service is good. Roof top or balcony type seating is available. Tasty 👅 food items. Tried beef try it’s was good 👍🏻. Nice ambiance to sit and relax. I think there 3 categories of bar with different ambience. Overall good 👍🏻 service. Travelling from Thrissur to Cochin, in between best bar to sit and relax . Find the photos attached to get some more idea. Best place to visit with friends. For sit,talk, n relax I think this bar can be also suggested. Overall good.

Perfect location for the hotel, staff were always extremely helpful. Room was very nice and kept clean. Hotel stored luggage before and after check in/check out which was also very helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

This spot gives extraordinary service and yummy meals. One of my favourite hotel around town. The meals served rapidly and the rates were reasonable. Highly recommended.

Excellent hospitality by the entire hotel staff. While checking in, i was unwell with very little energy and all the staffs in the hotel extended their help, in refering a doctor, getting the medicine, serving me the right food. Even while check out they requested me to stay back and they would take care of me. How often do we come across such caring ppl in a hotel?! Truly 5 ⭐ class hygiene, n hospitallity. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone !!!

They have the best restaurant in Angamally. Must try if you are with your family. Food has been consistently top notch and plenty of car parking space. The staffs are very welcoming .

We had a function in 5th Floor. Food served was Ok. Fruits Trifle served was not good. Small area for washing hands. Hall was good

6 km from airport. It has its own restaurant with buffet lunch and dinner. Complimentary breakfast is avg with 7/8 varieties. Rooms are good.

Room Location near to Airport and Railway station. But No good service and Room is like lodge 2 star hotel. Better choose good hotel. Service is not good No one cares.

Stayed 2 days Pros Breakfast buffet was good enough. Cupboards are spacious to accomodate our luggages instead of cluttering the room. Hot water was available always for shower Cons Bathroom was not maintained well and was stinking.. bath tub was very bad and stained. 2 single mattresses were put together instead of one double which was not comfortable. Smoke smell inside the room Some kind of noise during night like alarm which made me awake

The worst day of my hotel experience so far. 11. 08. 22 In a meeting, the lack of food even for those who were pre-booked is due to the carelessness of the management. The chef, who was supposed to understand and convince the customer, said that the food can no longer be refilled and that if there are people who want to eat, they should eat it if they want. As a humble person who has served in the hospitality industry for many years, I have only disdain for the great person and the management who took the attitude that this is our first experience to the guest who took the attitude that this is how it should be, and for the management who has to support them all.

All the food items were served hot and tasty. Moreover team came up with some unique menu options which was really delicious. Surya hotel - You are blessed to have a great team like this and make sure they are always with you. Surya hotel will always be my first option for any function going forward. Good services offered by the Bar tenders and Servers. Pleasant mode in their face always. Good helping mentality workers where in Surya. And also mostly One movie name is Sherlock homes Malayalam movie was shooting at this Restaurant.

It's not so good an experience with the stay... A lot of change has to happen on tidiness of the rooms... A lot ot changes has be done on how you go about billing... customer satisfaction etc... We have lot of options these days.. And please make necessary changes....

Two rooms at this four star hotel got available quite economically through goibibo and the stay was just amazing. Located along the highway in Angamaly, this is the old charm hotel with a lot of woodwork, spacious rooms and bathrooms. The place boasts of 2 bars : one for the genteel public on the ground floor and other at the 2nd level for hotel guests. Service is good and courtious. Bed and Airconditioned par excellence. Would have loved to stay for couple of days more but the work exigencies compellingly made us to push forward just after one night.

A group of us spent the day at The Surya 2 weeks ago to attend a wedding nearby. The location is prime- right across from the railway station and the place is a beautiful green little hamlet with quaint hill station vibes. The facilities at the Surya are a little run down but the prices were great and the breakfast was quite tasty. The staff were very friendly and courteous and helped us a lot with arranging cabs, pick ups and drops. Thanks a lot! 😊
