Excellent stay. Every aspect of our stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations starting from the friendly staff at reception .manager Rajesh and the female receptionist was so friendly .clean suite rooms with breath taking views from the balcony. The food was good they even made non spicy dishes for kids as per requested. Highly recommended.

Reaching the destination from main road to their gate is very difficult. Around 200mtr stretch too narrow road and it's too bumpy. Hotel has no awesome view. It's just a normal river side. Food option inside hotel is also too less. Not much of choice. Rates are like star restaurants. But this is a very good place for hangouts with friends (only for men). If you are coming with family then I won't suggest this hotel. But if you are looking for just to stay and not to worry about tariff, then it's ok. Otherwise you can stay in any hotels in Chalakkudy town.

Our time at riverine hotel, chalakudy was truly an memorable experience. We stayed in the family suite which offered us a magnificent view of the Chalakudy river. Special thanks to Mr. Rakesh who assisted us throughout our stay there. His guidance and support made our trip really entertaining . He also informed us about the new trekking program in Vazhachal forest division which was without a doubt one of the best program of our trip. We would truly love to visit athirapally again.

We were a group of 4 friends who decided to stay at the premium suite room. We had 2 bedrooms, 2 separate balconies and a living room with essentials and a small kitchen area . The rooms were lovely, the view was great and it was the perfect getaway from routine life and the place to vibe in. Bathrooms are spacious with an in built bath tub , but be sure to check if it has a leak. Chalakudy river flows nearby with a splendid view esp in the early monsoon season. Athirapally waterfalls are nearby with a drive of about 30 min from the resort. The food was tasty and reasonable and the staff and service was quite prompt.All together would surely recommend this place . A lovely memory for a friends get together ❤️

Located so near to river ,that ambience the locations creates is truly awesome. Rooms are really spacious and got excellent balcony view from most of the rooms. Quality of food served needs a small improvement. Other than that it's worth visiting this resort

Beautiful location with spacious rooms. Staff was very helpful and kind with a smiling face which added on to the amazing experience of our entire family. Special mention to Mr Rakesh to help and guide us in the many queries that we had and be a superb guide whole going to the waterfalls.Also , they went an extra step to set up a nice get-together in evening for our group. A very serene place with beautiful location to spend days after days. The suits and hospitality beyond par and the behaviour of all staff excellent and very co-operative. The only flip side is the food; the menu could be designed little more thoughtfully catering to the cross section of visitors staying at the resort. Loved staying at Riverine family suite. The suite was so spacious and very clean and comfortable. We had an excellent view of the river from our room balconies. Best part was the BBQ dinner and being able to play in the water (river and swimming pool both). The pool is kind of small but it does the job of entertaining your group. The staff is courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good, fruits were delicious. Really enjoyed the stay here.

Stayed here at the last day of our family trip. Riverine is the best when compared to other two accommodations of our trip. Amazing location, spacious suite rooms with riverview balconies, cool & friendly staff, tasty breakfast, dinner. Especially the river and the swimming pool adding unforgettable stay experience. No nearby shops, bar or restaurants, so plan accordingly. Overall we enjoyed the stay here and no mind to leave from there🥳😀

My stay was extremely memorable for umpteen reasons. But give a few, location is superb, view is fantastic, rooms are luxuriously spacious, quality can be seen in each and every bit. Hotel staff was great. They have ensured that enough care was taken to make us comfortable. A staff - Rakesh, who guided us to nearby locations including Athirappilly dam, butterfly garden and rope bridge, walk through forest was an experience beyond expectations. He had lot of information and knowledge. I am so glad I chose this property over another luxury hotel which was nearby.

It is a mixed feeling at the end of the stay during this Christmas season. I was there with family for a day. Arrived there during lunch and got a decent room and friendly staff to support. Location is superb and you can enjoy the river during evening time - even spend a couple of hours in the shallow water and beautiful nature. Good for photo shoots as well. Facilities provided in the room were below average. Had to remind them 3 times to provide toiletries. No support received in setting up the extra bed. Ordered evening tea and snacks and it arrived after a solid 90 minutes and 3 reminders. Dinner was not good - mostly pre-cooked chapathis and porottas with too much oil. Breakfast (complimentary) was also much below expectations. Overall not really worth the price paid.

River view from room's balcony is very peaceful and scenic. Room was well arranged. Staff and service is excellent. Location wise it is located away from city/town and feels quiet. Food is also good. Overall recommended 👌 👍

Horrible experience. On the 26th o January, I along with friends, as a part of our bike journey checked into the hotel. Decided to take a bath and on closing the shower glass enclosure, the glass broke and fell on me. I was covered with cuts and bruises all over my body. The nearest hospital was 13kms away. Me, along with my friends did some basic treatment to stem the flow of blood. Luckily none of the cuts were too deep so a number of band aids helped. We decided to have an early dinner since we were riding early next day. Ordered dinner at 7pm. Waited till 8:30 and still no dinner. One of my friends went down to the restaurant where he was greeted with other angry residents who were waiting for food they ordered even earlier. After much remonstrations finally got our dinner at 9:30pm. The next day, we saw the rudest hotel manager we ever encountered. Firstly, wanted us to pay for the glass which broke in the rudest of language to a hotel guest. Of course we refused to pay mostly due to his behaviour. Checked out of a hotel we’ll never ever go to. Forgot to mention that in one of the rooms the AC was not working and they sent a room boy to check it instead of a technician. Avoid at all costs.

I had the best experience of my life at this resort. Food, staff, facilities, location and everything else were out of the World. Will recommend it to anyone, who wants to have a great experience...

It is in a very pretty location. Rooms are big and neat. Can see the river from the balcony and can also walk about to the river and enjoy the waters.(the water is shallow here). The service is good and food is also pretty good. Enjoyed the stay here.

Decided to come here for a well deserved break with my family and I don't regret it at all. The staff was incredibly hospitable and was available 24/7, the food was great and what sold it the most was the location! The serene flow of water right outside and a cup of coffee to go with it was what made my stay. Loved it, would definitely go again.

Good place to stay with family or friends. Neat and tidy rooms with all facilities, especially the river facing suite rooms. The location is superb and you will enjoy the sound of river hitting the rocks! Since it was raining heavily, we didn't gone to river valley, but enjoyed staying near to it. The complementary breakfast was excellent and you will get wide varieties in the buffet. The staff and services were excellent! They also helped us finding a missed item after we left the hotel and made arrangements to reach out to us (even if the heavy rain condition) I will definitely recommend this place!

After a late night get-together party my two friends suddenly planned to make a trip to Athirappilly. But while booking the hotel online mistakenly the date inserted was for the next day. So on arrival on the location we contacted two nearby hotels but they denied staying even though the rooms were available. BUT Manager Rakesh watched from his room and approached us with a positive attitude and also agreed to rent the room on humanitarian which is really COMMENDABLE FOR HIS SUPPORT.

A beautiful place by the river side. We took the suite. The view from balcony was breathtaking. Be careful venturing into river alone though. It looks shallow. But currents at someplace are strong. I was foolish enough venture into a place and sit thinking the current is not strong as the waters were shallow. I had to struggle to stand and get out without the current dragging me.

One of the best resort in the region. Suit rooms were very big and spacious and contained all the amenities. Food is really good. Only one small limitation is the resturant is small and get congested in the morning during breakfast time.

We stayed here in the month of July ..it is bit far from the waterfall but completely worth it. The rooms were spacious getting the feel like we are in home with big hall, spacious bathroom and very spacious bedroom with awesome interiors. Last but not the least, balcony. The river view from the balcony is awestruck. Food was also served good, well hygeniened and it was like home cooked. Don't miss this resort when u come to athirapally. It is just excellent !!

Pleasant experience staying here. Very close to the river and you'll have access to the river as well. The reception and housekeeping staff are too friendly, kind and helpful. Will recommend this place definitely for a short stay. Breakfast buffet is good

Great place. We stayed there as a 12 member group including 2 kids. It is situated on the river bank. Splendid view from the balcony. The river is not very deep there so everyone can enjoy the waters. The rooms are clean and spacious. Food is good. Overall excellent experience.

Came for the end of year celebration with family. An absolute serene place with river views and access. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. One of the managers also took us trekking to a few good spots. Overall a great experience. Definitely recommend this place.

It was really Great, we took a day to celebrate wedding anniversary function. The food was good, the services were absolutely great, there was a complementary welcome drink, the pool was also available for use. The view was absolutely breathtaking, in conclusion it was totally worth the price.

We stayed for one night and it was a great stay... clean rooms with a great river view, good food, helpful staff who provided with whatever was needed.. special mention of Mr.Rakesh on the desk for being helpful.. They have a beautiful indoor swimming pool 🏊‍♂️ which should definitely be tried! All in all a must visit place!
