Thrikkakara Municipal Co-Operative Hospital

General hospital

😐 Very expensive. Hospital is kept clean and tidy. But the way they manage an OP is really bad. They don't have enough sitting space arrange with incoming visitors. Huge amount of deley in pharmacy dispensary point. And for a first time user, everything will be confusing for sure. Even at billing area... People often mention hospital, time, good, staff, doctor, experience, patients, medicine, nurses, treatment,

Very expensive. Hospital is kept clean and tidy. But the way they manage an OP is really bad. They don't have enough sitting space arrange with incoming visitors. Huge amount of deley in pharmacy dispensary point. And for a first time user, everything will be confusing for sure. Even at billing area you could find a long que which will be extended even towards outside. Parking, good enough. Behaviour of the staff and doctor, Excellent. It just that, management should consider taking another look at how's thing are going down in the hospital for a new user. πŸ™Œ

Worst hospital ever. Don't ever visit. Very bad OP handling. And 1 x-ray cost 440 rs which is 4 times the normal rate. If anybody comes for emergency patient will die because of the delay they take. Staff are extremely arrogant and only 1 person for registration. They don't provide the receipt for medicine also to get the commission of medicine. Again we have to wait for 2 hours to get medicine. You can very well apply a casual leave to visit this hospital.

1- Doctors are good 2- Pharmacy and billigs are PATHETIC. 3- The security people think that the hospital belongs to them, there is no problem if they make four mistakes and teach the law there. 4- No parking for patients / admitted patients vehicle excluding scooter πŸ›΅ or bike 🚲. 5- You can't park even when you go home after admission!!! So there is one more ummia's law... Thank you!!!

The hospital and the doctors are really good here Friendly Polite N knowledgeable to their respective fields But nurses here doesn't seem to maintain the same level which brings the experience down And the worst part about this hospital that I felt is the pharmacy dept and the staff there ..... The attitude of the ladies (attaching a photo of the lady who shows the most attitude to the patients or other people visiting) as if they are doing some sort of favour to the people And because of this reason I will always have the same opinion about this hospital

If there was an option to rate 'Zero' stars I would have done that. The treatment and stuff are good, but if you are a person giving priority to 'TIME' this is the wrong place. Visited the hospital at 1 PM on 16-09-2022, met the doctor at 4 PM after the tests were conducted and the results taken, the doctor advised to stay overnight for drips and can be discharged in the morning. A room was alloted at 7 PM. The nurses did not allow me (the by stander) to leave the patient and was told the doctor will come at 9 30 AM then 10 30 AM then 3 PM and finally the doctor came at 4 PM on 17-09-2022. Now they are telling to stay for 2 to 3 days since we have mediclaim . Those ho have work and personal life kindly avoid this hospital as it will not value your time. Kindly choose some private hospital where the payment might be more but the value for time will be better.

Worst customer experience. Whoever is handling their appointments are an irresponsible person. Tried to get an appointment with Ortho for my wife and a lady who attended the call kept asking for OP No. When I said, i do not have an OP no, she said find and get back. I again told her that I do not remember the OP number as it was long time back and she abruptly disconnected my call. How rude can you be. No decency in talking and was rude the entire conversation!

The worst ever hospital I have visited in my entire life. Very expensive. I just had difficulty in breathing due to dust allergy. Usually it goes by taking the vaporiser. But they gave me an injection and this vaporiser with a mask, without even asking for that injection to be taken . I usually pay around 50 rs in other hospital here I was asked to pay 663 as total bill. I was shocked , and returned without buying medicines they prescribed.

Very rude and pathetic.Last week my husband met with and accident and he was taken to cooperative hospital which was nearby.he had a severe bone fracture which required immediate surgery.Dr parvathy nair who was on casuality duty then was very rude to us .he was taken to there at 10:30pm and these folks didn't even care to attend him to 12:30.as they were busy with their activities .she was like we cannot do anything need a surgery which can be done only on Monday. By 12:30 we got agitated and asked them to give a discharge and took him to a hospital near by.when we asked for discharge her reply was then why couldn't you tell this earlier we had a fever patient who could have been admitted since you came we send that patient home. Now we lost them also.By the time we took him to other hospital his condition worst .swelling has been increased where they had to do treatment for swelling to subside. They told we could have brought him immediately they could have done surgery immediately. For surgery cooperative demanded 90k where a superspeciality hospital has only 80k including all expenses. I don't say you cannot charge money.but when u are charging please ensure proper service.even a government hospital will show more empathy.if you have no facility for treatment then inform paitent bystander for shifting them to better hospital .

One of the most expensive hospitals I've ever been to. Don't ever mistake this as a Govt hospital or Govt Aided Hospital. You won't get any kind of Govt support or subsidies in fees in any ways. Coming to the treatment and services quality, there's some similarity to Govt services in India. Because they won't even do a proper pressure check-up if you've been there. They'll will cut you like a saw blade in each and every sevices + the medicines. It's better to consult any private hospital nearby rather than getting below average treatment at a highly expensive so called "cooperative" hospital.

I wish I could give zero rating for this hospital. Horrible experience. I'm writing this review at 16 oct 2022 at 3:18 am, after visiting the hospital. The 2 female staffs are very arrogant. I don't know why they are paying for these 2 ladies. I was experiencing fever, cold, cough, breathing issues and dizziness. I went along with 3 of my friends. They asked my friends to stay outside ( that is not a problem ). I was asked to sit in a chair to check oxygen level, fever and bp I was literally shivering. They told me go to bed. They even didn't hold my hands I was holding the curtain. After completing the trip, I asked her to check my weight. She told me it's there, and when checked the weighing machine was lying under the table. I asked her, do you expect me to do this? Why they are getting paid? To show arrogance towards patients?

Will not recommend. Doctors are good. But the majority of the staffs are very rude and very slow for taking a op appointment. And also the lab staffs are also very rude and injection taking are not proper. Will have the mark after taking the injection. Very bad service and not at all clean. Very poor. They are purely for the money purpose.

My wife and I had the best experience with the gynaecology department at this hospital. Our doctor was efficient, knowledgeable and super experienced. We believe gynaecologists as God sent people. We experienced nothing else. Sure, we all have our concerns about safety and quality but you will experience the best advice you can get in any hospital. They are doctors who understands 21st century issues related to lifestyle etc. Just trust and move ahead with your pregnancy.

The fat lady who stays up late night at causality should be replaced with a real doctor. That lady is more interested in looking at her phone and talking with other staff members than giving treatment to patients. She is getting paid for enjoying nights out in casuality. Arrogant nurses enjoy talking to each other. They are shameful to other nurses. Also, they are treating patients in an unhygienic way. I wish the management would read my comment and take action against those unwanted births. Even if you don't take action, just understand one thing: you guys are unprofessional and losers in your profession.

Worst Hospital I went to in my entire life. Went for a test, and they treated us like animals. If there was a negative rating, I would have rated that. I don't think the staffs there have humanity. Even if I have an accident, I would rather die than going there.

I came to meet an ortho. The hospital service is very bad. I came to consult a doctor but had to wait for a long time. I waited for an extended period, and they did not call patients in the correct order. Consequently, I was unable to consult the doctor. The nurse was calling patients according to their preference rather than following a token system. As a result, I had a negative experience at this hospital

I went there because I don't know nearest hospitals in kakkanad. Worst place. They will charge you minimum of 1500 rs for fever without even admitting. They will look patients only when the money is paid. Money is the first priority. Can't you believe charging 1500 rs for fever πŸ˜‡. Better they go and steal money. I cannot even imagine why people are calling it government hospital. If the service is provided then we would have happy.stand in long queue for pharmacy too. Please go to any private hospital where you will get better service.

Poor service, quite unsatisfied. Once I consulted a pediatrician for my daughter, after X Ray and blood test the prescribed medicine was unavailable in their pharmacy as well as the locality, when I approached them for substitute medicine, they failed to provide me the same. The behavior of the staffs were rude. I consulted another Pediatrician and got the medicine on the next day. They made my effort, money and time worthless. I will never ever even consider or recomend them again..

Good doctors are available.. but not enough staff and facilitate to manage things . Pharmacy is the worst. They provide medicines from their farmacy and waiting period is too long. Very less people are there in pharmacy for billing and supply of medicines . This is already aware by the management, we believe.

Insufficient staffs in medical shop will make you sit more than a hour to get medicine from their medical shop. Either they should give us the prescription so that patient will have an option to buy medicine from other medical store. This is pathetic to make more than hour to get medicine. Or they have to find some other solution to tackle the issues. Consider this waiting with small kid or old ones for more than one hour or near to two hours for getting medicines.

Very poor setup. Only the patients have to value their time it seems. I paid for an OP for Dr.Anish CA, they asked me to come at 4PM. It’s been 45 min and the doctor is coming just now. What’s the use of appointments and rules if they are not following it themselves. If somebody is not available when their token number is called, then it will be called last. I didn’t knew this rules were a one way street. Plus the people at reception are not courteous. Talking very arrogantly.

One of the worst experience I ever had. My wife was suffering from severe back pain and we consulted senior ortho consultant. Without proper checkup doctor suggested to follow his own diet plans and physiotherapy. We started physio but due to severe pain we went again after few days and doctor never listen to what we have to say, he again suggested to follow diet plans. Without any diagnosis he just insuled us and made her cry. First time seeing a doctor with such an attitude.

We were initially doubtful about going to Thrikkakara co-operative hospital. My parents were also very doubtful as well. But my gynaecologist Dr. Smithy George was the best person I could have asked for. It was my first pregnancy and a very overwhelming time. But the doctor and the staff here were very supportive. She cleared all my silly doubts. The OT and the labour room facilities are top class, at par with any hospitals in Kochi. Even the nursing staff here were very friendly and efficient as well.

Seeing low reviews, I went to this hospital, but it seemed a reasonable one with affordable fees. It is crowded, and the staff is less professional that are expected in a suburban area. It’s not a government but a private hospital. The consultation fee here is 250, while the city hospitals start from 400. Friendly staff and good facilities of a typical rural hospital. The specialists are visiting doctors, and they come late, so the waiting time may be longer. For example, I waited an hour extra for CT scan. Go when you have enough time, less money, and don't want to travel far from the Kakkanad-Infopark areas. Five minutes walk from Kakkanad bus stand.

Good hospital with great doctors. Recently my son was admitted for seven days. The time from diagnosis to admission was minimal. Found the nursing staff to be very caring. Followups and checkups by doctors were always on time which helped in getting my son discharged earlier. Pharmacy for inpatients didnot have any waiting time. Overall it was a different experience compared to other govt hospitals

Good pediatrician available here, fees is also affordable. Need prior booking to avoid long wait. Lab and pharmacy facility is also available, but bit crowded and busy, need more staff in these departments. Good facilities available but conjusted rooms/halls. Needs more care on maintenance, found lot of mosquito inside feeding room and around.

Came to meet an Ortho with a sprained foot, and I had been waiting for 1 hour and 45 mins. I left the place untreated. I must say that the assistants to the doctors DONT care and have no regard for time or for orderly assistance. For the sake of your health and time, think twice about going here,

The dental department here is awesome, there was an extraction for my daughter and it was little complicated and she was scared to the core. Dr Nadia handled it in the coolest way that my daughter did not even know needle piereced her gum. She made it like a game and my daughter did not feel even the slightest pain ... Highly recommended!

My first delivery . I was very keen to avoid a c-section . I was admitted , at complition of 9 months (39 weeks). Various medicines were tried , to start labour pain for 6 consecutive days . I climbed the stairs 20-30 daily. I did 100 squats daily . Finally on the 6th day I got labour pain and delivered a cute girl baby. Thanks to all the nurses and the doctors who supported me.

My Wife Asna was insisting that , husband must be by her side, when she goes through labor pain. I was allowed to stand With Asna ,throughout the delivery.Asna was so worried and did not even allow the Doctor to do a Pelvic examination. My presence made a big difference she was very calm ,and went through the delivery holding my hand. So finally an unnecessary C-Section was avoided. Thanks to all the nurses and the Doctor (Dr.Smithy George) and all staff at TMCH Who supported us .

If someone is going to this hospital for any illness, bring 3-4 more people with you to stand in line, because there is an unnecessary system followed here where you have to wait at 3-4 places, take a token and take medicine and get out. , No one should go here to take medicine unless they are very tired
