A very good experience with city hospital. My daughter was admitted there because of some issues and was treated in a very good manner. A very special thanks to Dr.Aswathi ( Pediatrician) who guided us with lots of love and care . She has a very good character and deals everyone with smile on her face . Sister Milia who was a very helpfull person , treated in a very good and lovely manner . She was very helpfull in our needful time .

My daughter (4.5 years old) was not feeling well with fever & cold. We used to consult with different doctor for my Kids usually. After hearing a big opinion of Dr. Venugopal, we went to his home for consultation. He prescribed an antibiotic & cough syrup. After starting this antibiotic the next day onwards she started vomiting. She was so tired & her mouth was reddish & skin peeling off. (This was a side effect of antibiotic but we didn't know even Dr. didn't agree). 3rd day then we went to Doctor's home & he suggested to Admit in City Hospital. After two days of vomiting & fever she got better, then she started loose stools. but when I asked the Dr. he told me it can be a food infection. so I told him we used to eat food from the canteen only even we use water from hospital & boil it for drinking. He didn't like that. When I ask anything he didn't care & try to irritate only. Morning duty nurses are very good & caring but Night duty Nurses were very rude. Before completing the treatment we asked to discharge & left the hospital because of Doctor's carelessness & attitude of few rude nurses. We were very happy & excited to get treatment from this Dr. because of others recommendation & felt very much disappointed after this treatment.

My gynacolegy department was execptionly good in doing surgery and treatment.Even though surgery was complicated and challenging Dr. Sanam basheer did it very well and Doctor is my lifesaver..Nurses, counsellor, food, cleaning staff all were good and nice. Infrastructure and facilities were good. Best hospital in gynacology in town.

A small hospital in the heart of town, at MG Road Ernakulam . Parking is not big but with the visiting crowd it can be managed. Overall a nice hospital with lots of specialist doctor's. Lot of people from middle east(Gulf) used to visit this hospital for treatment. Very close to metro station, south railway station and Ernakulam main Bus terminal is very close by. Reducing one star, as I can see thr front office people need to be educated more in politeness.

Recently I have undergone laparoscopic hysterectomy at City Hospital, M.G.Road, Kochi. It was a great experience with the entire team of Parent IVF City Hospital under Dr.Sanam Basheer, whose competency and expertise is highly appreciated. Dr.Sanam's simplicity has really touched our hearts. We are also thankful to anaesthetist Dr.Felix Nelson's services and reassuring words in OT. I am glad that I chose Parent IVF City Hospital and would highly recommend to anyone.

Thanks to city hospital and Dr. Sanam Dr.Pahlavi for successfully treating infertility. all staff of hospital are Caring and loving helping in nature (Doctors, Nurses, staff of Lab and Pharmacy) For medical reimbursement restated staff of that department did not help and did not answer any queries related to supporting documents and Prescription. very bad experience to me . I told them 3 times (at discharge time 29 July, 26 August, 1 September ,finally 2 September) wich document I want.but they Not serious about it. when I told all about of this to one of doctor from hospital then they give prescription

Gynecology department is good. Charges are very high including USG, other scans, Important blood test and other hospital charges compared to other main hospitals in the same class. Facilities are not up to the mark compared to other same class hospitals. That is the main disadvantage. Not a proper management for hospital appointment at all.

Very poor amenities. Rooms (paediatric) have no proper ventilation. It was extremely hot inside the room. Damaged Mosquito nets. TV was not working. We had a horrible week at the hospital. Above all we were asked to keep the food waste bin inside the bathroom. How dirty!!!.. Also, they dont offer cashless facility for mediassist or vidal health.. not coming here anymore.. didn't expect all these from a hospital situated in the centre of the city. The hospital doesn't even deserve a single star.

I took treatment from City hospital, kochi under Dr Sanam Basheer recently. I was given excellent care by the doctors and the friendly staff. Food was also very good. I would recommend this hospital and Dr Sanam for Gynaecology services.

The hospital is located at the heart of the city. The hospital boasts a number of great medical professionals in gynecology and paediatrics. One of the most famous paediatrician in Kerala Dr.venugopal works for this hospital. Gynecology is headed by the MD of the hospital Sanam Basheer, who is a gem of a person. She gave us confidence throughout our various visits from the first month till our baby got delivered. Special mention to Dr Prasanth who heads the scanning department and Dr.felix Nelson who is an amazing personality. As a team they are amazing. The nursing staffs are equally helpful, special mention to athira sister. The only negative we faced was with the reception, where a staff was so arrogant that we had to complain. I am pretty sure the hospital must have lost at least 5 percent of their customers due to the lady's attitude. Other than that our time at the hospital was hassle free. Excellent service provided. The charges for their services are on the higher side though, which is understandable provided the doctors are of high quality. The rates of the rooms are on the higher side but the facilities of the suite rooms was not upto the standard we expected. Hope they rectify it soon. Parking spaces are less. The hospital cannot accommodate more than 15 cars at a time, but there are 2 pay and park services adjacent to it. Recommended

City Hospital is one of the very few hospitals still left in Kochi, where the golden rule of “patient always comes first” irrespective of their background, is still followed. A close friend of the family recommended this hospital and going here was one of the best decisions that we made. Being one of the oldest in Kochi, the hospital still retains its old world charm, and what it lacks in terms of modern creature comforts, it more than makes up for with the wonderful staff they have, right from excellent doctors like Dr. Sanam Basheer, Dr. Pallavi Praveen, Dr. Aswathi, Dr. Felix, Dr. Prashant who are highly qualified and took the time to patiently answer all our queries and who I personally feel are equally good and at critical junctures surpassed the doctors I had met in some of the other leading hospitals in Kochi, the nursing staff like Bindu Sr, Prathiba Sr, Anugraha Sr, Suja Sr, Ancy Sr (to name a few) and the team of lab technicians who treated me as family, than as a patient, and were always willing to go the extra mile to make me very comfortable, the insurance team especially Shiny madam who was quite knowledgeable and was always ready to help us multiple times with the reimbursement process, the cafeteria and cleaning staff who were liberal with their advice, overall the place has a homely rather than a hospital vibe to it. We would definitely recommend City Hospital to our family and friends!

I had my c section delivery on last week, Special Thanks for my Dr. Sanam Basheer whose guidance and advise helped me a lot during my delivery. Also they are having a best team to feel very comfort and relief even in thier operation theater room. We will be very weak physically and mentally during delivery period but their good attitude made me so good that I can never forget the city hospital for thier good service to patients especially Dr. Sanam and Dr. Felix supported me so well. Also there are some very rude nurses in night shift also whose behavior has to be tolerated but they have good nurses like Sajida who has to be appreciated. So once again Thanku so much Dr. Sanam and entire team for ur wonderful service provided 🙏 we have to take service of such good hospital in kochi more than missing thier service. Just want to share my experience since all wanted to have a good delivery period memories, and City hospital will surely provide u that one.

I went there for my Covid vaccine 2nd dose and it was a smooth process.Thanks to the nurses who were very helpful and proffessional.The front area parking was a bit small and the lazy security guard was just sitting on his chair.Other than that it was a good experience.Will recommend this hospital to others.

All of the staff members where friendly and all but they have non working machines and all. I have undergone delivery there. The nurse gave me injections it was painful and I couldn't move my hand and the color also changed to pale blue.

A whole day will go for hospital visit. Little crowded too. Most irritating part is medical rep occupying seats OP waiting area. Their talk over phone is annoying too.Hospital authorities need to control them. About dr will comment once treatment completes.

I started to go to City Hospital right from the start of my pregnancy. I had heard about Dr.Sanam's efficiency from one of my friends. I had a wonderful experience during my pregnancy tenure & delivery due to the support & care of the Gynaecology team, the Nursing staff & the councilor. One of the best things which I found in the doctors is that, they encourage & motivate the patients to undergo normal deliveries as much as possible. I had a normal delivery with the help of epidural injection. All thanks to Dr. Sanam, Dr. Felix, Dr. Anjitha & the Labour Room Staff for the encouragement & support. The Lactation assistance provided by the Paediatrician & the NICU staff was also very helpful. I would happily recommend City Hospital to anyone for their pregnancy tenure. Thank you.

First thing i don't know really how to start but still may my points will be more but I have to say. I'm a Physically Handicapped All my thanks and my prayer my happiness my word's goes to EXCELLENT DR. SANAM BASHEER. The way she treated me. Since I was new to Kerala Kochi i don't know where to and which hospital to go since I had financial problem also. There is one word our elders say half the disease will go away the way the doctors speaks to the patient. This goes to DR SANAM BASHEER 🙏 My surgery was on 12 July 2022 in CITY' HOSPITAL Kochi as of now 6 week's today check up finally, giving my review i took time since in my mind i had one point let me complete my 6 week's check up. I can't say other hospital name but got bad experience since i had stomach pain from February 2022 and the other hospital instead of my uterus removal just did my DNC and gave tablets and i was tolerating my pain to much though I spend 25,000/- for reports doctor fees Tablets ect by hard earned money of my husband came home discharged after 3 days. Again after 2 months pain started but when I went the Doctor, the Dr. said again DNC but did not refer for any Biopsy report since 6 year's back i had chest cancer and i was having my one tablet i was taking. I shared this to my neighbour since I was new to Kerala Kochi. Finally my neighbour her uterus removal 10-15 years back experience and her daughter delivered a child 3 years back and the experience of Dr. SANAM BASHEER they shared me that she will give you right decision. June month just seeing some of the reports Dr. SANAM BASHEER said we have to do biopsy report and decide for a surgery. and finally biopsy report had come and after she saw the report she decided and told me that the uterus and ovary has to be removed. I and my husband worried because City hospital was a private hospital and financial problem I gave a request letter to reduce the amount since, our family was alone here and I spoke to doctor Sanam Basheer requested they supported me with some amount to be reduced after the CEO meeting and this is my one of the excellent experience in city hospital. From the starting of my check up till surgery and care taken by the Doctor Watchman,Reception, attender, Nurse, operation theatre, then till discharged i was very very happy and excellent job. I need many places wheelchair where I was not able to walk or climb the upstairs always i got help immediately. I did not feel any time that i came to wrong hospital. Every time follow up was done to me from hospital for check up i used to get the call on time for check up, excellent work from IVF team also especially sajida. I give lots of thanks to all in City hospital, May almighty Allah bless all with best and excellent work as same co- operation from all to all the patients who comes to the hospital. My wife got admitted here for a Lap surgery..It's a small hospital with moderate facilities. Dr Sanam Basheer is a highly experienced doctor .The nursing staffs are very supportive and caring. I should say sisters like sneha and Irin are real angels and they are real assets to this hospital. But I feel treatment is slightly expensive here. For a Lap sterilization+ VA they charged around 60k(total), which i believe is on a higher side . Those who really worried about expense part may better to have a comparison before you step in here..But Doctor,treatment and nursing care are excellent .

I underwent a surgical procedure in City hospital a couple of days ago. I am very impressed with the gynaecologists Dr. Sanam Basheer, Dr. Laiza Jubee and the anaesthetist Dr. Felix for their professionalism and caring nature. I have no words to express how compassionate, polite and caring all the staffs were in OT, IP second floor and surgical ICU team including their all in all Radhika, sister Reena in OT, sister Soumya and sister Anna in 2nd floor only to name a few. Even their dietician and the canteen staffs were very warm and affectionate. All in all, I feel happy I chose this hospital and had an unforgettable experience.
