Token system and patient management is very poor. Front office staffs are negligent to make those things in proper order, because they are busy with their leisure talk. Even though there is only a handful of patient's you have to wait a long time to see the doctor

In 2020, my father underwent laparoscopic surgery for removing large intestine cancer growth in GEM hospital Thrissur. At present he again underwent laparoscopic growing hernia surgery. Both the times service and hospitality was really good and were helpful.

Very late review. Three years back, I delivered my baby girl there. The nurses were really cruel, cannot call them a ‘ nurse’ because they don’t deserve that position. When I was in delivery pain, the nurses not even reassuring me or allowing any of my family members to enter in. They were talking like culture less people. If I would have been there now, I know how to react. I hate most of the staffs were there. Moreover I had the same experience few years before when I delivered my son. I would not suggest that due to that staff’s behaviour not doctors.

I underwent Laparoscopic surgery for hernia one month before. Very good experience with Dr. C. J. Varghese and his team. The whole staff who is interacting with me was nice behaviour, patient, caring and experienced. Car parking area should improve.

Under ground parking is disguisting.... The waiting area a/c does not working..and the lab there is no a/c... Atleast there is no proper fans also.... Underground Parking is like a slum..... And the positive ponits, the doctors are brilliant and experience hands.... And i give 90 marks to the staff.... They are simply superb...excellent service... Very co operative... And energetic.... That was the biggest plus point

I underwent Laparoscopic Uteres removal surgery at Gem Hospital. Open Surgery was advised by many other hospitals and rest after those surgery was very long period because of that I was delaying my surgery. Now Iam happy that i have done key hole surgery for Uteres removal was done @Gem Hospital now iam doing well & happy that iam back to work with in one week. I'm sorry to say that I am writing this review to express my concern and angry towards the nurses who provided the post operation service at Gem Hospital. The nurses in the operation theatre provided good care during the Hernia laparoscopic surgery, which is crucial. However, the quality of service seemed to have declined during the post-operation period. It's disappointing to hear that some of the nurses responsible for patient care were more focused on their phones😡 and didn't prioritize their duties. Additionally, making my mother wait for over an hour on a wheelchair, especially after surgery, is not acceptable. Patients should be treated with care and consideration, and their comfort and well-being should be a top priority. It's important for the hospital to address these issues to ensure that all patients receive consistent and high-quality care throughout their entire stay. It's a reminder for healthcare providers to maintain professionalism and compassion at all times.

As an allopathic doctor my concern is regarding tamil doctors coming to kerala and starting their hospital like gems Where's we find it extremely difficult to practice in their state.Even doctors from Andhra and karnataka are flocking into kerala and hacking into our practice which is already very competitive here now.I know Varghese alias jaison personally who should be providing good treatment.Many of these south indian doctors who flock to kerala are aiming for neet pg exams and therefore they are not very much concerned about patient care.Hence they should practice in their own states without affecting the practice of keralite doctors.

Performed Whipple procedure for my father diagnosed with periampullary carcinoma very Satisfied Surgery was done by Doctor C J Varghese. But the management lacks professionalism and proactiveness.

Went to many hospitals, suffered a lot. Then came to GEM hospital and underwent Gall bladder surgery. Now all good. Great Doctors and staff experience.

I came to gem for cirosis treatment and received good care by dr dennis and his junior. Water was removed from stomach with good care by dr.immanuel and really liked service from a young doctor.Hospital is clean except the toilet.very little waiting time.

I had partial gastrectomy surgery in March 2020 here in this hospital, which was successful. I have done Hernia Surgery also here one month back. Doctors headed by Dr. C.J. Varghese are experienced & patient friendly. Nursing staffs & their services also are good but feel they are overloaded due to shortage of manpower. Overall experience was good.

I underwent key hole surgery for Bilateral Inguinal Hernia and Gall bladder stone (Cholelithiasis) at GEM Hospital & Research Centre, Thrissur. I am now fine and have no problem at all. Really nice experience, the doctors are really well healers, especially Dr. Vargheese, those who have really problems with stomach should consult this doctor. Every ratings have 5 but im rate it as 4 because of the bathroom, every hospital which keeping high facility and hygiene, and good bathroom is the awesome one. So here bathroom is the worst experience... Thats why im giving 4 star.
